Beautiful, smart, witty.  Alison was a sub for Rachel Maddow last night and I liked her as well as Rachel.  Alison should get her own show.

Cutest News person on TV! ... and a voice to match.. Personality + I would like to see her do a very serious piece for 10 minutes though.

I like her. She comes off personable, intelligent, and genuine. She's quick on her feet (gaging by her "Countdown" work) and it doesn't hurt that she's easy on the eyes. Just based on her "Countdown" appearances, I don't see how anyone thinks she's a typical media talking head.

The negative reviews of her here are the product of envy.  She reads the "news" and doesn't claim to be a rocket scientist.  She has a cute face and a sweeet, high booty which unfortunately is rarely caught on camera.  She could cut back on the caffeine though, and has probably burst a few water beds and pipes, and undoubtably keeps the neighbors up at night: "Go for it Baby!!!...

Shallow, vapid, pretentious. One night it seemed that she stumbled over every other sentence. So what if she has a face, there's no brain behind it. One of the cookie-cutter talking heads that make media news the wasteland it is. She makes me sorely miss Olbermann's intelligence, presence and sense of moral indignation, and I'm grateful when he returns and pushes her from a chair she doesn't deserve.

Alison is the best substitute anchor I've ever viewed. She's bright, funny and knows her stuff. I love Keith. But If there needs to be a sub. She is the one. Give her a raise.

Unprofessional and unattractive. Hugest ears on TV. Her face twitches and her eyes blink at a nerve-wrecking, rapid-fire pace. Dresses like my 8th grade, sexless, frumpy, earth science teacher. Shouts all the news at the camera, as if the viewers were all deaf.(All 3 of them, anyway.) Her show is unwatchable. She is unwatchable.

I wish she would have her own show. She is one of the most beautiful women on TV and in the world. I love to watch her. I don't really listen to the news but when she is on I can't help bu to listen. People need to see more of you.

I too have TV "stalked" Alison since ABC. I blame her for my current insomnia, she made it way too easy to stay up late at night! Why give her a show when msnbc can raise specific time slots by just putting this wonderful personality anywhere? If she does a show, I hope there is a studio audience.

I've followed her career since she did World News Now with Anderson Cooper. This is what an anchor ought to be. Funny, smart, witty and looks to die for. Why don't they dump Rita Crosby and give the slot to her? It would keep me tuned in for another hour.

Alison Stewart and her female colleagues are a breath of fresh air in the sometimes stale atmosphere of broadcast journalism. I love their laughter and their ability to poke fun at themselves. And, of course, it doesn't hurt that they are the most beautiful women in television. mayortom

I find Alison a breath of fresh air. She is intelligent, witty, and an ivy league educated women. Yes she has some tendencies that may sem MTV ish, but she has used those tendencies to bring life and a balance to an otherwise boring newscast.

I can't say I find Alison that attractive, but she's a good fill-in at Countdown and actually has a personality. She's much better than people like Alex Witt and Amy Robach just because of that.

Yes, Allison Stewart is more than easy to look at, but I'm listening while I watch her fill-in for Keith, and I hear a keen sense of wit, incisive comments when she gets a chance, and the kind of just the right short comment that flavors what would otherwise fall short of interesting. Allison Stewart is a perfect fit for Countdown. Look at the viewership counts. It can't be all due to just looks. I think this woman has real class, and a ever so slight attitude that makes it click. This past week has been a relief from paper throwing.

Alison Stewart easily has more potential than anyone else at MSNBC. While she's no Rather or Brokaw as far as anchoring is concerned, she definetly holds her own. She absolutely shines when she's filling in for Keith at Countdown, and those cute little facial ticks and expressions and ever changing styles only add to her allure. Definetly entertaining to watch.
