Horrible! also the shower is too small. We had multiple couples come back for second looks but then Perry offers customer a new build at below foreclosure prices. They do not care that they devaluate the subdivision (Summerwood) because they already have your money so beware!

I would not have another Perry Home if it were given to me. Having had two already I thought my first was just the "luck of the draw", but the second built in 2001 confirmed my feelings. On my second home, I questioned many issues and was told by the general sup. that Perry was allowed a certain amount of "slop" and what I saw was my slop. Additionally During IKE my chimeny blew off causing major water damage. There was no bracing, just a box nailed to the roof. In reviewing the damage with the origional inspector who inspected the framing the "box" was not secured properly. I asked Perry Homes to come and review their workmanship but was basically told to take a hike. I guess there was additional "slop" I was not shown.

I purchased a new Perry Townhome in Oct. 2003, and now, over 4 years later, it is still in EXCELLENT condition. Year one, under the Perry warranty, I had a few minor issues. Yes, I was afraid I'd never get service. But I'd fax them a report (their rule) in the evening, and every single time, I'd receive a phone call at 7:30 a.m. the next day. Most times, the service was performed by the end of business. Small things, like front door sticking, issue with my oven door. After one year, I was supposed to use Home of Texas warranty which, thankfully, I haven't had to use once. I did get American Home Shield, and I had a couple of minor issues, which have all been resolved. My home is sound, and all materials used were what I expected. I've had some foundation cracks, but they've been minor, and expected. Other than that, I can't express how delighted I am to have this home. Perry was great to work with in the building, financing, and upgrade selection phases. I had read all the ... Read more

I purchased my Perry Home in November of 2007. My home is fantastic. Everything looks good and my family is very happy. This is our third home we have purchased and by far was the easiest and the best. From our initial contact with the Sales Person down to the assistance with our loan with Crestmark Mortgage, Perry Homes took care of us. Even after the sale they stood by us. I noticed a few pin holes in my gutters the first time it rained after we bought the home. I called our construction contact person around Noon just to mention it. By the time I got home, it had already been fixed! Perry Homes has provided me with excellent service and a great product from start to finish and even after they sold me my new home. I will definitely buy from them again when that time comes.

I purchased my home during the last quarter of 2007 and have not had any problems with it. The project management team has been very responsive to my questions and have made changes I requested quickly without questioning me. I am a first time home buyer, however I have lived in many homes (most which are way less quality than my new Perry home). After talking to my neighbors and looking around the block it seems as though these homes have an amazing resell value. I put many upgrades in my home and after looking at other homes I can't believe that I own such an amazing house at such a young age. I could not imagine purchasing anything that does not meet the standards of my home I am in now. I feel spoiled :)

We have a perry home and have had nothing but trouble and little help has been offered after the sale. Once you buy. You're on your own. We are so unhappy with our purchase.
