Furious! Don't complain about your bill they will threaten to call the police on you! - May 27, 2010 Terrible Rude Service. The food is NEVER cooked right! Over priced! But this latest one you won't believe... Ordered the 2 eggs over medium, bacon, 3 pancakes. My daughter in law ordered 1 bagel w/cream cheese, 4 year old grandson 2 eggs over medium w/whole wheat toast. I didn't want pancakes and tried to get 1 instead of 3 to give to the 4 year old. Nope they wouldn't budge on that... Okay the food comes.. My eggs are hard not medium, sent back 2nd time egg white RUNNY, 3rd time eggs hard as a hockey puck, I say never mind I will eat later take it off my bill. They are not happy waitress very rude. Rude service- very strict policy about all members of party being present before seating- when asked about thru the week special informed that I can order it if I can tell what it is- but they can't tell me what is in it- very impatient-- all and we haven't even received our food yet! There are plenty of other breakfast restaurants in the area- this was very disappointing!

The blueberry pancakes were wonderful. The coffee was very smooth. The bacon was nice & thick & crisp! The service was the best I've ever had. I had a great morning there. One of the best breakfasts I've had in a long, long time!

In Short Founded in Oregon circa 1953, this simply-furnished spot owes its success to its creative menu and fresh ingredients. Batters are made on the premises; a special "sourdough starter" keeps treats from tasting overly sweet. Patrons choose from eggs, waffles, crepes and oven-baked omelets, as well as signature plates like blueberry pancakes (served with or without compote), giant cinnamon-glazed apple pancakes, thin and chewy "49-ers" and the air-filled, lemon-and-sugar-topped "Dutch Baby."

Although we often wait for awhile to be seated during peak times, my family has always found the food here fresh and delicious. The portions are gigantic, so those with smaller appetites may wish to share.

This is one of the worst places that its ever been my displeasure to dine at the service was pitiful and the cashier was so caught up in her own little problems to notice the five people waiting to pay for their meals.
