I have to disagree with my RIA friends on this one. Maybe I just don't like manly beers of depth and complexity, and prefer the slightly sweet, carda-mommy taste of Blue Moon. That's right, it actually does remind me of cardamom. I love this beer, especially with an orange slice in it. EDIT: my god, did I just read below that Coors makes this stuff? My world has just been turned upside down.

Compared to a real Belgian White, this stuff is just orangutang piss. Compared to several craft brewery Belgian White's this compares a little better. Then it's just howler monkey piss. I don't care how many trendo fucks drink this, it is still a shitty beer.

Best beer produced by a company that also makes Coors, it seems like a craft beer until one remembers that this is Coors Co. I liked this beer for a while. Very smooth, has a decent taste and very drinkable. I'm likely not going to buy this beer again though, I'm not a big witbier fan, but if it was offered to me, I would gladly accept it.

Overrated crap. Overly sweet and the light wheat taste is almost vomit inducing.

I'm sorry, I think this beer is a disgrace to real belgian beer. This stuff tastes like someone took a piece of stinky cheese and stuck it in a bottle, and pissed in it. Vile, what else can you expect from Coors?

Blue Moon Belgian White is not Belgian at all. It is made by Coors! Basically it is an American brewery's attempt to mimic Hoegaarden. Sure, it's better than Coors Light, but if you're going to shell out extra cash for this beer, just spend your money on the real thing--Hoegaarden!

Knocked back a few of these today. I'm usually a (I'm preparing for the gasps) Bud Light guy, (calories people...calories) I thought this beer was smooth, without the the nasty after taste I get with similar beers. Good beer IMO.

Somewhere between the big brewers products and the better craft-brewed beers. Pretty tasty and smooth without any bad characteristics. A little on the mild side of the flavor envelope.  A fair introduction to more complex and flavorful wheat beers.

12oz bottle, this was an ok beer to drink, this is what you get when you put beer and sunkist together

Blue Moon is a pretty trendy beer right now, but I've never enjoyed it. I'm not a fan of Belgian style beers, but even this Americanized version of a Belgian wheat beer is not something I would choose to drink.

For the most part I'm not a fan of wheat beers, but I guess a fake wheat beer like blue moon does it for me. Good smell, and quite smooth and tasty. Pretty nice for a mass produced beer. There are better beers out there for the same price, however.

I am not a beer fan, at all. But this is something I would honestly CHOOSE to drink. Beer to me just usually tastes bitter. I especially do not like the carbonation that most beers have. I find it too abrasive. but Blue Moon...man, something was just different about this one. It was smooth, kinda sweet and actually refreshing. Usually, I am still thirsty after beer. This one was just AMAZING!

Pretty good for mass produced stuff. A Belgain Witbier, made avaliable to the masses. Hoegaarden is better though.

This is a fine beer when you are in the mood to have more that two (provided you are not driving). I find its best with snacks as opposed to heavier food and the slice of orange makes me think of an Americanized version of the wheat beer from Germany that you used to pour syrup into.

I get flak for liking this beer because some bars take it upon themselves to serve it with a lemon slice. Once you get beyond appearances (and I'll admit, I usually have an anti-fruit bias in ordering drinks), this is a great-tasting beer. It's also light enough that you can have quite a few without filling up. Plus, if your manhood can't handle the citrus, you can always order a bottle.

This was the beer of the summer of 2007. I did not like Belgian White, I am not big on wheat beers though. Very refreshing and not bad. Their summer ale was delicous, a much better beer.

I really like the taste of this beer. It has the same flavor as blue moon ice cream (a midwest flavor) and it's even better with an orange slice. It tastes better on tap than in a bottle. This isn't the kind of beer I could drink all night though.

A decent light citrusy beer... but too sweet really for me to have very many. A few is no problem though. That hint of spice I'm not crazy about after several. Chick beer.

For a product made by Coors, this is pretty good. Though if memory serves me correctly, it's a little spicey, so you can only do 2, maybe 3 of these before you have to switch to another beer.

I am admittedly not a big beer drinker. I drink the usual suspects of Heineken, Corona, Sam Adams, Red Stripe, and Yuengling. I was introduced to Blue Moon with some skepticism, but upon indulging in this smooth yet flavorful ale, I am instantly a fan and have not hesitated to preach the gospel which is Blue Moon Ale. If you ever get the opportunity to try it, do so, I doubt you will be disappointed.

All of my beer-snob friends swear by this one but I really can't stand it. I think it's a wheat-beer that simply disagrees with me.

I dislike sweet, cidery beer, so this one was memorably bad, to me at least. However, I know a lot of people actually enjoy the taste of Blue Moon Belgian White, so if you like cidery beers, this one may indeed be for you.

This is above and beyond the smoothest brew I've ever tasted. Now a lot of beer aficionados will criticize Blue Moon for not being a "real" Belgian white. Who cares? Does that magically make it stop tasting good? I like Blue Moon because it does have all the sweetness of a traditional Belgian wheat beer without the weird, candy-like bubblegum finish of "real" Belgian whites like Hoegaarden (which is still a fine, fine beer) and others. This is a great "step up" beer for fans of more popular wheat beers like Boulevard Wheat and Sunshine Wheat.

One of the most underrated beers of all time! It has a light refreshing taste, not overpowered by hops. If you like wheat beers, in particular Boulevard Wheat, you'll probably like this one better.
