This guy is a complete fraud, like most of the people in his business. His picks are self-fulfilling prophecies. When he picks a stock, all his clones rush out to buy it, which means the price goes up. Think about it. If he were really good at making money, he wouldn't need to earn a salary doing what he does. Didn't you hear about the Wall Street Journal's contest back in the '80s that pitted the smartest stockbrokers against a blindfolded monkey throwing darts at the paper's financial pages? And the monkey did almost as well as the financial analysts? This whole industry is a complete sham.

Jim recently endorsed a stock on his show, and I can't remember the name. I thought it was called Cinnamex, but it must not be that cause I can't seem to find that name anywhere. He said the company had deals with all the major food suppliers, such as Kraft, Nestle, etc. Anyone know the name?

Without disrespect to Christianity, Dear Lord! Half the people here are rating Kramer for how well his stock pick went for you. If you want to blindly follow others advice, just forward all your money to me. LISTEN to what he is saying and the advice he is giving - about HOW to invest, not WHAT to invest. The key principle to everything he shares is to DO YOUR OWN HOMEWORK. So stop picking on the guy because you're following him around like sheep. Baaaah!

Jim Kramer helped me make some money with ATI, but after selling it and buying NDAQ I lost all the money I made. NDAQ was a terrible pick and he didn't say a thing about it!

Is CNBC aware that Jim Cramer's is 79 therefore making him legally retarded... He is driven to work each day by his 14 year old nephew in used golf cart and deducting his salary from his show he has a combined income and net worth of approximately $13.00 in Enron stock. He bought high of course and notes he expects the next quarter to be excellent. He still dates Jeff Skilling on the side...

Jim is awesome!!! Because he puts so much passion into the show, James Brown is jealous. All Jim needs is a cape when he drops to his knees on stage. Jim you are the genuine article!!!. JP

I love the show "Mad Money". Having never invested in the stock market it is a real treat to have someone like Jim to break things down for me in plain english. He makes the show interesting as well as informative. I now no longer view the newspaper money section as a waste of paper. Thanks Jim Kramer

"He sounds like a cross between Leave It to Beaver and Peter Brady." Are you kidding me? He doesn't sound like either of them and that is a horrible thing to say! Who he really sound like is Bobcat Goldthwait from the "Police Academy" movies! Except he needs to start grunting and snorting. Then he would make for very entertaining radio. Either way I enjoy listening to "Jim Cramer's Real Money" show simply for it's entertainment value. I am a poor 30 year old man who has never bought stock & probably never will (have the money to do it) & have sold more Wallstreet Journal's than I have read words printed on them, so I think it's fair to say that Jim Kramer is doing something right if he can get the attention of someone who will never earn anything from his advice. He may not be providing any financial gain for you, but he often reminds his audience that the business he is in isn't about making friends, "It's about making moneeeeey!" & if that includes making it from you the listene... Ya know, I like it. However, I've never blindly taken his advise and invested or not invested in a company just cuz he said so. I've followed a few he's recommended and they've not done anything spectacular. Whether you like him or not you must admit that he does make or break some stocks. Funny how this is legal. Still... great entertainment value in the show, imo.

Kramer SHAME ON YOU. While you recommending CPST it was already up ..85 in AFTER HOURS TRADING. The same thing happened to ALVR up 1.oo in After Hours. The same for RADS 1.20 in After Hours and HLEX 1.25 in AFTER HOURS. Either you are taking these stocks and then recommending them or you are leaking them before you go on TV. Either way your TV audience is in for a lot of PAIN. Walter New Jersey

I'm a skeptic. The first show I hear - well, I thought at least it's kinda funny. Nothing serious. Second show - Kramer recommends buying SWN - it's at $65. I dumped SIRI, bought SWN - not much, just $3k. Well, SWN went from $5 to $2.30 (Tues 9/27 to Mon 10/3). THANKS JIMBO - BOOYAH! LOVE YA BABY. SCREW EM ALL, I'LL TAKE THE MULAH! I KNOW YOU WENT TO HARVARD, AND I FORGIVE YOU! THANKS FOR THE MONEY - I OWE YOU A BUNCH O BEERS!

I don't really care about this show, so a three for my indifference. I just showed up because somebody got vulgar and I'd like to taunt him before the admin deletes him. UPDATE: I just noticed that our soon to be deleted said "walks the talk." Your mastery of language astounds me.

What is his voice?! He sounds like a cross between Leave It to Beaver and Peter Brady. How about speaking in your real voice? You'd actually be able to pronounce the words then... and maybe sound professional?

I'll tell you what I'll let my three year old choose equity positions for you...I promise she can outperform that BOZO. Do yourself a huge favor go learn technical analysis if you want to invest with any hope of success!! Forget that whacked lightning round B.S.... the only thing that is lit up is this damn fool and the stuff that is burnt up are your hard earned investment dollars

    The man's voice is awful

  • by

    smartguy123

    Fri Jul 29 2005

His voice is very annoying, and he tries to put up a character he cannot manage. His outlooks on the market are often wrong, much of his presumptions are just surmise. I give him 2 starts for the attempt and sometimes lucky guesses. (By the way, how do you screw up with the fed increasing interest rates? That was a no brainer.)

How does he knows many of the stocks that well? what a genius.

  • by

    thnickster

    Fri Jul 22 2005

does he get anything right? That is the question. He stated that the fed was finished raising rates. This was weeks ago. Wrong. He has called so many stocks wrong..i don't know how this guy stays on the air. today, for instance, he called MOT a hot stock. People must short his bull picks like they do Greenspan. I can do a better job than Cramer with a dart and blindfold..and I can hop around and scream too. Now there would be a show! Blindfold, dart, stock pages. regards from a fairly savvy investor.. Nick

Jim is good. He lists his portfolio, what made him buy into it, and at the same time, is on top of what sectors are hot, in the present tense, even if some of his picks aren't in those groups. The man is on top of things. He's not a blind pool, mutual fund adivsor. You can learn alot from this guy. He's where's it's at. You don't have to buy everything he does. Listen to his logic. Do your own homework. Take responsibilty for your own investments.

I like listening to the show to learn more about the stock market, but Jim needs to do something about the voice. Very annoying. And talk, stop yelling. It makes it very hard to listen to at times.
