Crap. Total crap. You are better off drinking straight out of a tap in the third world.

My favorite bottled water in the market! I'm not sure why some people say it has a plasticy taste, I've never tasted it in this brand. It's absolutely delicious and you can tell they put minerals in it to improve the flavor, it's awesome. It's no wonder why McDonald's chose this brand over others.

Not so different from Aquafina, but a little less quality.

Considering all it is is purified tap water, it's actuallt pretty good, but Fiji is still considerbly better, but Dasani is usually cheap enough.

Dasani Water is a decent brand of water. There really isn’t anything special about it. People seem to make comparisons between Dasani and Aquafina, but there really isn’t any comparison; Aquafina is clearly much better.

Whenever one of my buddies throws a party, some will bring Miller, some Bud, some Keystone, but I bring the Dasani.  That's right, my friends will know it's me when they hear my signature Dasani knock on the door (six knocks to represent the six letters in Dasani).  Also, I like to wear my signature 'Dasani water-helmet.'  The ladies love it.  It's similar to a beer helmet but I use Dasani, which I sip through twisty straws. And don't worry guys, that water-helmet doesn't need a filtration system.

Definitely tastes about the best. It's not tap water after it's been filtered by reverse osmosis and then had the salts added for flavor. Everything you drink is filtered and comes from somewhere. So, by that rationale, maybe we should just go ahead and call every serving of water we ever drink...rainwater. Or, if you're spiritual..."water from the heavens". Evian supposedly comes from the French Alps that's been filtered through rock, but at some point, it was dirty, contaminated surface water. So, who cares? At least reverse osmosis is a proven filtering process.

Taste decent. What I love most about this brand is the packaging. Very cool and sleek.

I have always thought that Dasani was the nastiest water money could not buy. I dont know if Im drinking water or the plastic that surrounds it, and literally feel like something is sitting on my stomach afterward that isnt natural.

Dasani, like all bottled water, is impossible to differentiate from well water or tap water. It's water.. and it "tastes" like water. The only difference is the price and the fact that it's encased in plastic. And that figure you may have read about polymers taking 500 years to biodegrade is phony. It's a guess at best and not even a good guess. The figure is probably closer to 1,000 years AND that's only if said plastic is exposed to sunlight. There isn't much sunlight underneath fifty feet of landfill, which is where all these bottles go.

tastes the best to me. you say it's filtered tap water? fine. it tastes better. it also tastes better than most other brands, as it doesn't have that wierd milky after taste that so many brands have. smart water and fiji are the next best, but they're expensive.

Alright, but it seems a little off compared to ther waters without an ingredients tab. The closest word i can use to describe it is "oily" or "thick".

I am willing to bet good hard money that the water you get from your tap is cleaner, tastier and has far fewer little critters swimming around in it than this stuff.

Why not go out and buy some real mineral water like elivan. Its the same price tastes better and does not contain any chemicals. Who wants chemical minerals added to your water when you can buy the real thing. In the UK it got took off the shelfs for advertising that it is pure when it is clearly not and having a high concintration of cancer causing chemicals.

Water with epsom salts & potassium chloride added for flavour. It has a saline like taste that I find odd. It's subtle, but it doesn't quite feel like water in the mouth. I prefer real spring water, or purified water with nothing added back.

It's not even water. It's just liquid chemicals.

Along with Smart Water (by Glaceau), this is my favorite non-carbonated bottled water! (the two actually taste somewhat similar) In response to TriSec's comment, it is not simply filtered water! The Coca-Cola Company invested significantly in the development of the mineral salts that are responsible for its fairly distinctive taste. However, TriSec is correct that it's not spring water.

The distributors (Coca Cola)were fined heavily in Europe because this was found to be tap water siphoned into bottles. Has now disappeared from our shelves.

One of the cleanest tasting, most refreshing bottled waters availible. However, it's also one of the most most overpriced.
