No refunds! You get overcharged horribly for a diamond and it has numerous amounts of flaws. Mrs Linh is the owner of this store and she lives there. She will help ensure that you will dig yourself in a hole and cant get out or help from others. She will say that she has class in 5 min or you are being hostile after you demand honesty and retribution. The only thing she will do for you is trade you a diamond for the one you have and it has to be twice as much for the upgrade which you already have paid twice as much for the original.

I visited Linh's store this week to see if she buys gold. I cleaned out my jewelry box a few weeks ago and had some old and broken pieces that I didn't want/need anymore. From the moment I walked in the door I was greeted with a smile and both Linh and her son Huy were very professional. I was impressed with the rate she paid me per gram. All items were tested directly in front of me and I was very comfortable with the entire transaction. I will definately return to their store for future jewelry needs!

I had the solitare diamond replaced in my engagement ring and Lynn was very attentive and answered all of our questions. She took time to explain the different diamond qualities to us and was extremely patient while we made our decisions. Thanks for great customer service!!

Lyhn the owner/operator is very nice and she really knows what she is talking about. She was willing to work with me when my finances took a unexpected hit. Her customer service was always helpful and she went out of her away to make sure that my wife and I found what we wanted. Her selection is huge and you can find fine jewelry at her shop that you won't find anywhere else in Austin. I would highly recommend American Blue Diamonds to anyone that is looking to find fine jewelry at a great price, with great customer service.

Dont be fooled by the fake reivews. They are written by the owner. Check the spelling, and notice that each one clearly has the owners name. The owner is rude, pushy and gets mad if you dont want to spend 10,000 on a diamond. The place is a total rip off. We had been looking a an engagement ring for a couple of months and stopped in this place because we live nearby. It was awful. First, there was a baby crawling around on the floor and had sick on the carpet. Second, the entire place smelled like dead cat. I am not kidding! Third, the owner was very , very pushy , rude and kept trying to steer me toward certain rings She got irritated when I didnt like them and wanted to try on more. This is a huge decision for me and I'm sorry if I need to try on more than 3 rings styles to see what I like! She showed us incredibly overpriced diamonds, like a 1 carat M, I1 for 13k. Ridiculous. She wont even let you wander around and look, its "sit down. you sit down." We made the mistake of com... Read more

Lin who is the owner of American Blue Diamonds actually sent me two rings to compare and paid all the shipping and insurance for both of them. I was able to compare both rings and choose the one I wanted for my wedding ring. I will continue to use American Blue Diamond as my only jewelery store even though I am thousands of miles away! Thank you! Malia

I came to the store with some of family color stones and very old diamond rings. The owner, LINH NGUYEN, was very patiently to work with me to make the stone I wanted in to the mounting I wanted. She picked up on the most ring I wanted but needed to be altered to be thicker and fit my stones. She cut all up to measure, matching, and grading. She advised me which one should be used and tried for hours to make the design in my mind coming out. She has the newest COMPUTER AID DESIGN SYSTEM and COMPUTER AID MILING SYSTEM to make the wax and cast the ring of my demand. I gave her the hard homework and she was excellent in design and service. She is a GIA Gemologist besides two others UT achievement: BA in Bilogy and BS in Psychology. She is also an excellent jeweler that can work overnight for your expedited demand. I cannot ask any jeweler to do more than that. I will be her customer for my life! In addition, I am highly recommend for any of you to try out... Come to see LINH and her sta... Read more

I have bought a set of Parade Diamonds mounting from American Blue Diamonds with 1.5 carat Yellow Sapphire princess cut center. I love Canary Diamond, but I can not effort one. Linh, the owner of American Blue Diamonds, with her vast knowledge has helped me to pick something close to what I love within my budget. Before coming into Linh’s store, I have little knowledge about Gemstones and Diamonds. Thanks to Linh (a GIA certified), with her patient and sincere, I have gained more knowledge than I ever was before coming into her store. After leaving American Blue Diamonds, I have a beautiful set of rings which I know will hold up their value over the time. And with the knowledge that I gain from Linh, I can shop confidently at any store. As long as I’m in Austin, I will come to American Blue Diamonds for anything related to jewelry. If you are looking for Great Designer rings, and great price on diamonds or color stones, I’m strongly recommended American Blue Diamonds. There is... Read more

RIP OFF ALERT!!!! Do NOT go to this place. I found a great deal online on an engagement ring, but the setting was wrong, so I wanted to use the stone in another setting. I took my ring in there just to look at possible ideas for a setting. There was a middle aged Asian lady in there, and she was the only person I saw, so I assume she owns the place. I made the mistake of telling her how much I paid for the ring I had, and her whole attitude changed, almost like she was mad. I'd already taken it to several shops and knew generally the color/clarity of the diamond, but she started trying to tell me that the stone was "I" in clarity, and it had "too many inclusions to be SI", that it was "very, very yellow... J color", and that it was "probably enhanced". She was actually quite rude. She then proceded to try to offer me very little on trade for it towards an INCREDIBLY OVERPRICED diamond she had in her case (a 3/4 ct stone worth MAYBE 3k, that she had priced at $7300). Yesterday I ha... Read more

This is the first time I've written a review on City Search, but I was so pleased with American Blue Diamonds and Linh, the owner, that I wanted to tell about my experience. While my fiance was shopping for a diamond at another location, I stopped into American Blue Diamonds to look around. Linh was very attentive, personal and happy to answer all of my questions. The diamond that she showed me was beautiful and the price was right. I had purchased the ring at another store, and it was created to hold a round diamond. The diamond we purchased here was a princess cut. Linh was concerned that my ring would not hold the princess cut diamond securely enough, so she worked with the jeweler to create prongs strong enough to hold my diamond - at no additional charge. They actually took prongs from existing rings to build new prongs for my ring, and they did a fantastic job. It looks like this is the way the ring is supposed to be. You can't tell that any customization was done a all.... Read more

I am new to owning fine jewelry and I have been doing research on an engagement ring as I knew that I would have this for a very long time.. After a year of researching the best place for designer jewelry my fiance bought my ring at another retailer.. I had trouble getting my ring cleaned due to the hours and the length of time they would need to keep my ring and I asked what I could do to clean it myself and they recommended a chemical and I did that and it turned out that my ring almost became ruined. I saw the design of my ring on a sign for American Blue Diamond and I went in and the owner saw my ring and gave me jewelry 101 on my ring and on jewelry... I had picked a ring from a desiner that is not common and so I had dreaded having to go back to get my band and now I won't have to, I can get it here and know that I will be able to get great service that is personal... The owner also showed me wedding bands for my husband that he can wear even when doing construction things as it ... Read more

The owner of the store, Linh, provided outstanding customer service. Not only did she meet my needs, but she met my bugdet and future needs. Linh and her staff provide many services that other jewelry stores do not offer. For example, many stores do not allow us to take a photo of the ring we are considering. Linh, took a picture for us and emailed it immediately the same day so that we could show our family members. Another example is she gave us a free appraisel because the item was more than $2,000. The store hours were very convenient, they are open from 10a.m. to 8p.m. seven days a week. She was always there, ready to assist and answer our questions. I know I can depend on her in the future for anything I want. Even if she doesn't have it in the store, she will special order overnight for us. She has a very large bridal selection with well known designers for us to choose from. Unlike many other jewelry sales person, Linh is there to educate us about what we are about to ... Read more

Linh, the owner sat down with me for as long asI needed to get comfortable with what I was buying. She described the difference between the diamonds I had selected and by the end of the meeting, I felt like I knew as much about diamonds as she did. The price I paid at American Blue Diamonds was about $1,500 less than anywhere else in the city!! Not to mention, you get one on one service. What really put Linh's store leaps and bounds ahead of any other jewelry store I've ever used is the service after the sale. She is always there with anything that I need. Top of the line service that one just doesn't find anymore. By far the best shopping experience I have ever had. I always recommend American Blue Diamonds to my family and friends. In fact, a co-worker just got her engagement ring from Lihn and loves it. Robert O'Farrell
