I came all the way from Arizona to go to this amusement park legend. I paid a ton of money so I expected to have a good time and a great time is what I had! Happy was I when I got on the MaXair ride. It felt good when I faced my fear of heights by getting on the Power Tower. The only ride that made me freak was the big wood roller coaster. I always worry that they are going to fall down like an old parking garage. When I was challenged to get on the Mean Streak (I think thats the name of it)I just had to. But while I was on the ride I was thinking is this ride safe and if it is not am I going to see my sister again whom I went to ceder point with and I am in my mid 30's I still have a bunch of things to look foward to. After I got away from that ride I threated to smack my sister or anyone of our freinds who made a challenge for me. The sevice is so great at Ceder Point that I felt like a qween. If your lost there is most of the time a big burly female security officer there to help yo... Read more

FANTASTIC POST SPEEDY ! You are 1000% right about that 3 girl clone from New Jersey. Cedar Point is a really great family amusement park so if you aint been there, done that, then don't vote it a 1 star (3 times) to try to knock it down in the standings and then give your local Jackson,New Jersey,Six Flags amusement park a 5 star rating (3 times) to promote and raise it in the standings you New Jersey homer !!! And,oh by the way Ms.New Jersey I know about your sunburn ! She has opened another account under the handle of i have a sunburn! so she has at least 4 accounts now and who knows how many more !!! But,she took your hint Speedy and dropped the geographical and gender references in her new account nickname.

Cedar Point is my second personal favorite (Kings Island is my favorite).Ceder Point is alot like Kings Island. It is very beautiful and extremely easy to navigate and get around in. And,just like Kings Island, Cedar Point no longer has to have the biggest and tallest roller coaster in the world to be the one of the best amusement parks in America in my book. It might not have the tallest roller coaster but it has alot more of them and they are all extremly fun and fast and that's all I really care about. I'd rather have numerous 300 ft.tall roller coasters to ride and ride and ride and ride than to have a 301 ft.tall roller coaster to wait and wait and wait and wait to ride ! And,because there are collectively,so many more roller coasters and many more rides for everyone to use and choose from,I don't have to stand and wait anywhere from 3 to 5 hours in the hot Florida sun, just to get on and ride one time like I do at that one down in Orlando ! And,oh by the way you might try actually... Read more

I went to Cedar Point just a week ago. It was by far the best park I have been to. Millineum Force is awesome. It was the best and I didn't even go on some of the best rides like Top Thrill Dragster and Mantis.

Cedar Point is the best place to go on vacation for roller coasters, if u like the tallest fastest roller coasters that is. If you are looking for a place for the whole family.. thats Cedar Point to. But for me im there for the rides. All of Cedar Points rides are awesome. I've been there about 20 times in my life, and im 16, for the past two years i went there 6 times. Everyone in my family loves roller coasters. If i was rich or had nothing to do for a whole summer and had a lot of money to blow i would stay down in Sandusky for the summer to go to Cedar Point everyday. I would not get sick of it at all. I love seeing differnt people, and alot of different stuff. If you want to take the family on a nice ride, go on the train ride, but get on by the Mean Streak because they have a lil skelton show that goes on, also on the boat ride to, thats so cool! I hope i have convinced u enough to go!

It's Got Rides For All Ages From Kiddy Land To The Top Thrill Dragster. The View Of The Park Is So Pretty And Cool As You Drive Up The Road. I Think You Will Love It If You Go.

First of all Millennium has two Ns... second This reviews have said that Millennium Force was the tallest. Which is WRONG Millennium Force was the tallest for less then 6 months. Steel Dragon 2000 at Nagashima Spaland is 318feet tall compared to Millennium Force's 310 foot. Well when i went to this park, It's truely amazing just eying it from the shore. Cedar Point is built on a Penninsula in Lake Erie. I knew it was my favorite.. before i even entered the park, just waiting there for the park to open was incredible. Demon Drop. Was my first ride and it feels taller then the rest of the Intamin 1st gen freefall rides. Top Thrill Dragster is the new one that opened (2003) 420 feet tall.. 120 MPH... Intamin Rocket coaster. Cedar Point contains some coasters on my Top Ten. Which include Millennium force, Mantis, Raptor, and Wicked Twister in 10th. for my steel top ten. My wood top ten, both Blue Streak and Mean Streak or on it. I've been tehre once, one day. And i got on every single ... Read more

A great amusement park. We have been there many times and they have some terrific rides. If you like roller coasters, Cedar Point has some of the best. I like the Raptor.they also have rides for the smaller kids to enjoy.they have a dolphin show that is fun to watch and some other attractions. Also at least the last time we went there they have a picnic area so if you do not want to buy the parks food you can bring your own picnic.

AWESOME! Not as cheesy/expensive as a Disney-World type of place. 11 coasters! (as of this time of writing!) If you want to avoid long lines, go during a monday or tuesday during the summer and reserve a hotel room for the night. (Local hotels will let you check in an hour or so early so that you can go to the park) It's worth it if you love amusement parks. . .otherwise, knock off one star for the long lines for the good rides. Probably my favorite amusement park ever. It's so much fun it seems out of place in a quiet state like Ohio.

This is the best amusement park ever! This is the park with the most roller coasters. My favorite ride is the Iron Dragon. This park also has a varity of other great rides for people young and old. It is amazing how they make great rides. I have always loved this park. I hope i can go again this summer. I want to see what new attractions they have added. Power Tower was okay. This park is even in the Book of world records for being the park with the most roller coasters. I have a lot of other favorite rides I have been on. I even like the Swinging Ship. this is one of the theme parks that I reccomend.

Cedar Point is the best amusement park I have ever been to. I visit CP at least twice every year, because I can't get enough of it. The roller coasters are incredible, and every amusement park I've visited since Cedar Point just pales in comparison. CP's 14 coasters are all worth riding, and I laugh at other amusement parks that boast 5 or 6 mediocre roller coasters. The lines aren't bad if you go during the week, and the prices are a lot better than other, more commercialized amusement parks (like Six Flags or Disney World). If you go, definitely ride Millenium Force, the Raptor, the Mantis, and the Magnum XL200.

I live probably about an hour from the greatest amusement park in the world for sure. Cedar Point, if you have never been there, will blow your expectations for rollercoasters out of the water. There are so many, you can't even get close to riding all of them in one full day.

As far as I'm concerned, this place is the King of amusement parks. I went to college at the University of Michigan, and Cedar Point was close enough for a day trip, so I made it there at least two or three times. The rides were amazing - especially the one that simulates free-fall. I've been to quite a few other parks, and none of them compare in size or quality/variety of rides.

This our favorite family place. Lots of new coasters, fabulous water park, boats, Lake Erie, and wonderful hotels, including the historic Hotel Breakers. A wonderful park with a rich historical background. Island to visit nearby--take a ferry, jet boat, or fly. Historic Put-In-Bay nearby with historic Perry's Monument. Coasters are fabulous. We go and stay for almost a week every time we go and never get bored or tire of it. Fun for the family or romantic for two.

I like most of these parks, but I can easoly say that this is the best one that I have ever been to. The rides are so great - there is one roller coaster that I forget the name of, but it is like the biggest climb in the entire world. I think that they add one new colossal ride every year in an attempt to outdo the previouos year's main attraction. There were rides there that I had never even heard of or seen in my life. Now the lines were long, but well worth the wait. I was there over Memorial Day weekend, so there was a lot of people, but I am sure the entire summer is like that. Camped out at Put-In Bay (which is kind of close to there) that weekend with a bunch of friends - this is another good thing to do in that area.
