I went there over ten years ago but haven't forgotten how awesome it was! The weather was hot, so I never felt cold at any point, like I sometimes do at other water parks. The staff was friendly, and there was a really steep slide that you had to use a board to slide down on, and for a thirteen-year-old, it was the equivalent of skydiving.

Heaven on earth. There is a massive, donut-shaped wavepool called The Torrent that goes in a circle (you can get off at the beach or keep riding it to your heart's content). You could spend your entire visit there, without visiting the rest of the park, and have the time of your life. No lines, no wait, just fast-paced fun and big waves. You can ride it on an innertube, but I recommend going without one. Ride it to the wave machine and stand there, waiting for the water to slam down on you. It'll knock you underwater for a few seconds and carry you off. It's really a rush (albeit a little bit dangerous, but hey). The rest of the park doesn't quite live up to The Torrent, but it's awesome nonetheless.

Wow what a great place!!! 10 and 3 year olds both loved it. Very family friendly, even let you take in your own coolers.

There are two sections to the park. You can take a shuttle to go back and forth between them. The older section is a bit nicer. The rides are more integrated into the landscape.

The Travel Channel did a one-hour program on water parks in America, and this place rated No. 1 for a good reason. It has a large assortment of rides located in three separate areas. One of their areas is geared toward young children, while another is for older teenagers and adults. They have three nice facilities to stay on the grounds of the complex. What is really unique about this place is that the water comes from the nearby Comal River. A nice place, to say the least.
