Small course area, friendly staff, drinks and candy (etc.) provided for sale, price is great and it is kept clean. If your wanting animals, waterfalls and windmills, try another place. This course/atmosphere makes parents/friend/family rely on each other's entertainment, rather than the atmosphere. Great for my little one who is 6. No water hazards or other discouraging obstacles for beginners. Great place...

As an avid mini-golfer, I've seen many a-course, but none as illegitimate as Southport Putt Putt--comparable to Pearl, the adulterously conceived daughter of Hester Prynne (look it up.) While the phone staff is consistently amiable, the ball color selection is sub-par (pun intended). Additionally, their mention of three courses leads the casual golfer astray, planting the belief that a wide course selection will also offer a wide and culturally diverse selection of landscapes. This, however, is not the case. The three courses sit aside one another and blend together to form a single course of monotony and uncreative, uninspired boredom. All in all, my recommendation for a great putt putt adventure lies not with Southport putt putt, but with Orchard golf center just up the holler.
