GAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !! Just kidding. We all have to be childish every once and awhile. Serious, though I fully support gay rights. I am a liberal from the north eastern region of the united states.

The best show ever!  I just wish it was still on.  It showed gays as real people, not some stereotype.  It also had hot guys on every episode.  It will be missed!

Not terrible overall, but for a show that wanted to portray gay people as real flesh-and-blood human beings dealing with real-life issues, it sure indulged in a lot of stereotypes; the overtly effeminate gay guy who was a wonderful cook...the macho, promiscuous gay guy...the timid, uptight gay guy with a drug problem...the gay guy who loved comic books and was a Mama's boy...the scholarly gay guy who loved the Mama's boy...the gay teen hustler with HIV...and, oh yeah, the lesbian couple, just to keep things from becoming too predictable. If you're the least bit homophobic, you should definitely avoid the show, as there's an awful lot of nude dry-humping and kissing going on (I like to consider myself a pretty secure heterosexual, but I still have trouble figuring out how a "straight" male actor can tongue-kiss in the nude with a fellow male actor and still consider himself "straight"). There were some good actors involved in this (particularly effective was Scott Lowell as the uptight ... Read more

I personally LOVE the show. I think that it's a wonderful entertaining show about a look into the world of homosexuality. The acting is WONDERFUL, and the cast is great. I never missed a show.

It used to be the love that dares not speak its name. Now it's the love that won't shut up!

Im not sure if the US show is the same one that was shown in the UK, although one was based on the other. Whatever. Im all for live and let live but the episod (sic) I saw was a bit too full on. By all means have gay characters. That's not a problem. But is it necessary to have explicit scenes of uphill gardening. Then again, I don't particularly want to watch anyone, lesbians or het couples, getting it on either. Sex is for participation, not audiences, in my book.

Great show that portrays gays and lesbians as real people dealing with issues like infidelity, child custody, illness etc. The characters struggle with the same problems that het. couples face. It's bold, grafic at times, in your face kinda a show and I applaud the writers and actors for such great performances.

Enough with the gay people, already! Let them get married! Let them have kids! Let them serve in the military! Just cut back on the gay programming! Give them their own channel, like ESPN, BET, WE and Spike. You're here, you're queer, I'm used to it, I don't care.

This TV program is simply fantastic. They touch many issues that surround gay life, and the need for those who are under educated, to simply be educated. The story acting is good and the characters are extremely lovable. It's easy to become hooked. People's group hobbie preferences are put on TV, so it's about time a vaster majority of people's lifestyles are also put on TV.

Awesome show! Being a gay teenager, this show has allowed me to understand more about the gay community and most importantly, accept my sexuality. The acting is really great and it has become my new favorite show!

Can't agree more with Jessiesgirl! I enjoy the entire cast of QAF but am so drawn to Brian Kinney (Gale Harrold) ... Thought that my f@g hag days were coming back to bite me in the er, a$$ ... Then I found out Gale is a straight, married, father of two ... Phew! ... He is dynamite!

A guilty pleasure! A show with a lot of style, but also a fair amount of substance. Gale Harold's Brian Kinney deserves to go down...in history as one of tv's most original and outstanding characters. Love this show!

Oh my, gay people actually have sex? I thought all gay men were supposed to be witty, have a good fashion sense, and most of all be asexual like that guy on Will and Grace. Seriously, this gets kudos for being one of the first to at least try to shed light on gay relationships. It's not perfect, but it's a step in the right direction. If you can't stomach watching the depiction of homosexual sex (I admit there are times when it gets a little too over the top for me) then change the channel instead of whining lame platitudes like "what about the children."

I for one feel this show is very predictable in all areas, and there really is never an element of surprise. The storylines are good, as is the acting. But I just get a really empty feeling in my stomach everytime I watch it, because I know my world would never be like this. I know the show isn't meant to be a stereotype, but I really wished they would come out with a show that potrays gay people as they really are. There really are some decent gay people out there, who aren't all about sex and immorality. Thanks.... I must say this show lacks love...for lack of a better word....

Believe it or not I used to love this show. It could be a great show. I just got really sick of the stereotypes, blatant misogyny and cold cynicism. Plus it has gotten SO predictable...even the sex is with their bored monotonous grinding.

This show has some of the best performances I have seen. It is a soap opera with some bite. I think as a straight woman it has shown me that we are all alike in that each character represents something in all of us. I love this show, its characters and the performances of these actors. I just ask where is the Emmy it deserves?

I'm a straight young girl who just happened to be going thru channels when suddenly i found a show that looked pretty interesting. At first I thought i had just caught some bogus show all about sex. After i started watching i relized it was a show about people going thru real emotion and real problems. Some people think it is stereo-type but i don't see it that way. I think One good reason for watching is to see how the character are growing. If anyone would compare how Brian (played by Gale Harold, Wake) has grown they would see how these characters aren't so Stereo-typical as people might think but are actually similar to real homo-sexuals. I think anyone who watches this show will also grow and may up there mind up to many other things.

This is a wonderful show, the diversity of the characters is fantastic. The writing illusrates the characters who are deep, realistic, faulted, and sometimes even beautiful. The show deals with issues in an honest manner, and these issues are ones that haven't been dealth with properly in the mass media until now. About time! They should keep up the fantastic work... and of course... keep filming in Canada, we're glad to have them here!

I'm gay so I really wanted to like this show. But, the truth is that it's crap. Mega-crap at that. I can't even watch it. It's seems that the writers believe their target audience has an IQ of about 75. For a good drama with gay characters I'll stick to 'Once and Again' or 'Six Feet Under'.

The dumbest and most offensive piece of garbage ever made for TV and purporting to be "gay positive." These silly, mindless, self-absorbed, and sex-addicted fools can only set back the cause of gay rights.
