Her generally stiff screen pressence was somehow able to elicit a similar response from half of the viewing audience. She seemed a nice lady and the camera loved her, but she wasn't exactly an enormous talent.

Audrey Hepburn is a magnificent person; her acting was subtle and hit the right notes without any overacting. Her personality is what makes her beautiful. Oh, to the reviewer who said that she must have spending a lot of time on her knees to get where she is, that was Grace Kelly. I know that you know that you wish you had someone as fantastic as Audrey in your life.

She's always been so elegant in the various movie roles she's played and has an even better talent in acting. It is very true that todays actresses are only judged on their appearance and not their talent. Far too many people care what the celebrities are wearing rather than what they were hired to do. No one can really compare to the talent of Audrey.

It bothers me today how actors and actresses are judged more for their sexuality and beauty rather than their inner qualities and their ability to act. Actresses like Audrey Hepburn not only epitmomize good acting, but also are the closest examples of what a human being should be. Her inner radiance shone like a beacon of light to our inner souls, and when she passes on, we realize that something is missing from the world...Audrey.

It is only fitting Audrey Hepburn played the angel, Hap, in her final role. Hepburn always brought an immaculate presence on the silver screen. And unlike today's crop of actors and actresses, Hepburn was beautiful inside and out. As in real life, her roles reflected an inner-beauty, always searching and hoping for the best in everyone. Who can deny she still brings a smile (and maybe a tear) to moviegoers who rightfully idolize her? In short, she was an angel.

I give Audrey Hepburn 5 stars because not only is she beautiful, sweet, and charming, but she is a fabulous actress. My favorite movies of hers are Breakfast at Tiffanys and My Fair Lady among many others. She is truely one of the greatest because she never overacted or appeared phony. She really acted from her heart. Her compassion was there all the time. As a person she seemed to be generous and sweet and one of the most caring people. As for her style, what can I say? She created the Audrey Hepburn style that people try to mimick to this day. May her gracious soul rest in peace forever.

I have always liked Audery Hepburn. I would really give her about a 4.5. She is a wonderful actress, and she has a lot of charm. She was perfect in Roman Holiday, as the runaway princess, who is befriended by Gregory Peck. She made a wonderful Eliza Doolittle in My Fair Lady. I also liked her work in the Nun's Story. Breakfast at Tiffanys was good too. She also seemed like such a great person with the charity work she did for UNICEF.

I think that Audrey Hepburn was one of the greatest actresses who ever lived. She worked her way up to the top starting with nothing. She was a positive influence on so many people, she made great movies, and she dedicated the last years of her life to traveling with UNICEF to help the children in the Third World Countries. She is my favorite actress--I just wish that I could have met her before she passed away in 1993 (This site says 1989). I've never heard someone say something negative about her, and if they did something is wrong with them. Thank you for reading my comment about Audrey Hepburn.

Pretty little thing but gravely lacking in talent as an actress. She got some good roles early on, that she didn't do much with, and for one of two reasons: (1) she had a good agent, or (2) she spent alot of time on her knees. Have to give her credit for the charity work she did, though.

Perhaps Audrey never acted in some deep dramas or tried to be a sex kitten like some Hollywood actresses at the time, but what she did do fit her perfectly. Audrey was like a little wood nymph -- petite and cute, with those big, brown eyes sparkling with mischief. I loved My Fair Lady and Breakfast at Tiffany's. She wasn't the most glamorous actress in Hollywood, but she made her own kind of impression that has stayed on long after her death.

Easily one of the greatest actresses of all time. She was so likeable in her movies that its easy to see why people often connected with her characters. She was beautiful, elegant, graceful, and very charming. We need more actresses like Audrey Hepburn around today.

i first saw audrey hepburn in breakfast at tiffany's when a teacher told me a had a strong resemblance to the actress. this was the greatest compliment i had ever had. not only was she beautiful, but she was an award winning actress with grace, poise, style, elegance, and the list could go on and on. she was very well known for her work with unicef which expresses great empathy. while she possessed all of these admireable qualities, which often tends to inflate ones ego, she was able to maintain humility and and an uncommon neutrallity as far as the media was concerned. in my own humble opinion, she made brown puppy dog eyes, a not-so-small nose, dark hair, and a little frame a beautiful thing. (im especially thankful!). she is truly a role model in every aspect.

i have got to be the biggest audrey hepburn fan ever. I draw so much inspiration from her + she will forever be an icon + the most classy, caring, selfless person ever. She did so much for the world, aside from starring in countless wonderful films. Also I just wanted to point out that the little bit of info on her in the top corner is incorrect. Audrey died in 1993, not 1989.

I like Audery Hepburn the first time I saw the film Rome Hoilday.Although what she wore in the film was simple, her beauty impressed me deeply. If a woman become a star just because of her beautiful face, she will be forgotten with the years passing by.But Audery is remebered by the world because she always perfected herself and was serious about her career in her life.I can say she is not a angle on the screen but aslo a angle among us.she was a ambassador of the UN to Africa,Vietnam and other poor areas.she went to those countries to spread hope and happiness ,though she was suffered from cancer at that time. She is a true princess in my heart forever.

An Actress who by far had all the attributes on the screen almost as if the camera admired her. She wasn't THE best actress of her time, but she definitely possessed that X-Factor that very few performers and public figures possess that makes them what they are. Her beauty emulated on the screen as well as her grace, poise and mannerism's. There truly will never ever be another Audrey Hepburn as she was by far one in a million.

Audrey Hepburn was a truly magical person. From her very first appearance as the princess incognito in Roman Holiday (which remains my very favourite movie) to later roles in movies like Robin and Marian, she owned the screen. Regardless of the role, she never failed to embody elegance.

Her elfin charm and grace, her appealing, kind, sprightly intelligence lit up many a fine film as few(if any)have done before or since. She made her name in the lovely Roman Holiday,an enchanting, vivacious princess to Gregory Peck's journalist. At times,in Funny Face, her romance with Fred Astaire melts the heart. What other pairing could have carried off such an age gap?Charade,a marvellous thriller,(also directed by Stanley Donen) again has you rooting for her and veteran Cary Grant,as they glide along the Seine by moonlight.Moments to treasure. And of course,My Fair Lady,The Nun's Story(a superior drama)and Breakfast at Tiffany's were all the more popular for her presence. From the sixties, she devoted much of her time to Unicef and other charitable work, but Steven Spielberg was still lovestruck enough(like others)to give her a part in Always,4 years before her death in 1993.She certainly won't be forgotten;stars that shine as brightly are in extremely short supply.

As she lifts the stolen mask in "Breakfast" her face shows confusion, anger, hurt, glea, elation, pride, pitty, love, and sadness all at once. The single most beautiful thing ever cught on film. She had style beyond her characters but still lovingly portrayed them.

This woman embodied all the attributes of not only a wonderful actress but also a lovely and gracious human being. I remember watching many of her old movies as a little girl – great old movies like “Roman Holiday”, “A Nun’s Story”, “Funny Face”, and “My Fair Lady”. I thought WOW, I would really love to look like that. But her appeal went way beyond the surface. Audrey Hepburn exuded an almost ethereal gracefulness in her personality. It was a combination of many things, classic elegance, charm, gentleness, intelligence, and sweetness. You knew she was acting. But somehow it was very easy to believe that she was taking a lot of her characterizations from her own personality. This lack of complete separation from her inner self may have been most obvious and best illustrated by her deep personal involvement in charity work for children - which I am sure grew out of her earlier horrendous childhood experiences during WWII.

There has never been another actress like Audrey Hepburn. It annoys me when people compare her to Jennifer Love Hewitt and Natalie Portman. Although they are both pretty they are not Audrey Hepburn at all. Audrey was beautiful, talented, charming, and intelligent. She was not like alot of the other blonde bimbo actresses of the time. She was always smart and lovely at the same time. Who could ever forget her in such films as Roman Holiday, Sabrina, Breakfast at Tiffany's, Charade, My Fair Lady,(one of my all time favorite movies). There were so many other wonderful films too. She always gave great performances. The lovely, enchanting, petite actress will never be forgotten because she lives on through her films and good works as a person.

This is what attractive women look like. Not only is she extremely cute and adorable, but she is intelligent and powerful as well. I wish that more actresses of today had that array of natural beauty, but all Hollywood tries to sell the public is cold, angry, upset, fake, actresses. Not all of the actresses of today are bad, just the lame one's like Jennifer Love Hewitt, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Nev Campbell, and Courtney Cox. They're all like Irvine women. Phony, shallow, and 'bitchy'. The actresses of today that carry a cute and pretty sensuality to them are; Sandra Bullock, Ashley Judd, Halle Berry, and Alyssa Milano. Audrey is the best though.
