We stopped here for a late dinner. The food was great, service was outstanding, and it really was a place for locals. Long live independent restaurants! Nothing mass-produced here. We would definetly go back any time we were in Dallas. In fact, we were bummed that we found it on our last night in town. Have the sweet potato fries. Theyre awesome!

Since I am new to the area I asked a friend for restaurant recommendations. Beckley Brewhouse was first on her list. The service was great, the owner friendly and the whole place seemed almost like a family--there were some regulars there when we went. I loved the decor--especially the photographs on the walls of Oack Cliff streets. The burgers were wonderful and I loved the sweet potato fries. I highly recommend this place and can't wait to go back!

I love a number of things about this place, but the best part has to be the community. Everyone feels very welcome when they arrive, and I could not agree more. I love the fact that you can just chill out, listen to good music - play your own music if you are willing to ask - and a complete lack of pretentiousness (is that a word). I have never heard a conversation about what kind of car you drive, what you do for a living, where you shop or any other typical Dallas chatter, even though you are likely hanging with anyone from Fortune 500 executives, lawyers, doctors, entreprenuers to service industry folks from the nearby restaurants. Enough rambling... check it out.

Beckley Brewhouse has to be one of the best places to hang out...close to home, fun atmosphere...HILARIOUS/BEAUTIFUL bartender (she knows who she is!).....The food is great and everyone is accomodating...over the holidays i brought my family here and it was so nice - everyone who comes in is a regular customer and treats you as if you are a part of thier own family. It seemed like many who didn't have family here in dallas came in to spend time with their second family... Truely a lovely place that can crank out some tunes and serve some of the best wine in all of Dallas!!!

My personal favorite place to hang out with friends. Great bar area and some of the best drinks you can find in Dallas. The food is all good, especially the burgers. They have free wifi so you can bring your laptop in case you need to use the internet. Great coffee too! Try it soon!

An amazing neighborhood find!! A friend turned me on to the Beckley Brewhouse (which is so much more than a coffee or beer house) and I cant say enough great things about it! There just seems to be something for everyone (and every mood). From sitting on the front porch swing sippn on a cold one, to relaxing in the club chairs with a glass of wine with a tray of cheese & fruit playing board game with friends (and the staff), to tearing into a pizza at the bar while watching the game on the plasma TV this place has it covered. I was also surprised by the food. The Panini sandwiches are amazing (I like the Parisian) and the pizza is the best in The Cliff, hands down. And the staff is great and so friendly. Nicki and Rhonda behind the bar are the best! Relaxed & laidback with a diverse neighborhood crowd, this place is done right! Seems like whether Im needing dinner on the way home, or a place to meet some friends to chat and have coffee; I keep coming back to the Brewhouse.... Read more

In Short Urban pioneers will appreciate this cozy wood frame house located in a transitional Oak Cliff neighborhood. The many laptop outlets, flat-screen TVs, and be-your-own MP3 DJ nights encourage loitering. A barista mixes up coffee-centric martinis behind a curved blue tile counter while regulars lounge in overstuffed chairs perusing the collection of take-a-book, leave-a-book titles. There's also a kitchen turning out pizzas, panini, soups, salads, and burgers.

Walking into this place you'd think you were at a fine dining restaurant...but, although the food is awesome, the people are VERY down to earth. The atmosphere is great for a happy hour crowd...there's always some there playing music (mp3 or dj) and they are quick to take requests for your favorite song. I had the hummus (which was super yummy) and the blue cheese burger which blew me away! Since my first visit i've also become a big fan of the "big cheese" panini....lot's of cheeses and a home made pesto sauce....mmmmmmmm...
