Okay, I shop at a lot of places for clothing. Usually Macy's and Nordstrom's. I wanted a coat made by a specific company; Stone Island. There are very few stores in the US that carry this brand. I found exactly what I was looking for at Oslo's. From the moment I walked through the door, I was greeted by the owner John, and was made to feel very comfortable. I asked to see some of the Stone Island coats that they carry, and he brought them out with a smile. John also helped me find the size that fit perfectly. I tried on a few coats and all of them in different sizes. Usually at any of the department stores, you feel like you are bothering the salesperson by trying on so many items. At Oslo's, I was welcomed to try on whatever I like. Just as well, they held the coats for me (as a man does for his wife) so trying them on was really easy. I was guided in fit and comfort and was given opinions on how they thought each coat looked. The one that I liked the most, John commented that it look... Read more

You can find a fashion forward shirt for a date that night or a pair of trousers for the office on Thursday just by mentioning your needs to the sales staff. To top it all off, you can get a top-drawer haircut and shave. You can walk out of Oslo's feeling like a crisp $100 bill. Being known by name is a tell-tale sign of excellent service. And if nothing else; Oslo's provides a degree of service equal to the best haberdasheries in the West. Myself, I have no problem dropping a few dollars on a terrific item I won't see 15 other guys wearing. So if you're adverse to having your sales associate pay attention to you and (wholly cow!) actually ask you questions about what you're looking for - don't go here. Actually, don't go here anyway. I want to keep this all to myself. Parking can be a pain but, Oslo's provides a great experience and exceptional service. And yes, the dog is cute.

When I relocated from Westchester County, New York to Seattle this spring, I left behind not only family and friends but a local haberdashery with the kind of service and product selection I thought I'd never find in Seattle. But I was wrong. Oslo's has a great selection of clothing (pants, sweaters, shirts, jackets), and a professional staff that makes the overall shopping experience recommended. What I've learned later in life is that a clothing store where everyone knows your name is as important as a saloon that does the same. To get to five stars, Oslo's only need diversify its offering from a price perspective. This will have me shopping more, and explaining my credit card bills less to my wife.

Oslos is a superb shopping experience. they always have something new in-store when I go, Oslo the golden retriever is the stores mascot. Fall is an especially exciting time to shop as you will see vivid coloured sweaters, jackets and scarves. The store offers grooming services also. Chad, Oslos barber, gives great cuts and traditional shaves, I have yet to get a shave but I definitely plan on it. Good gift options for every kind of guy. highly recommend.

If you are a guy who appreciates good quality clothes, cares what you look like and don't want to see yourself walking down the street, then Oslo's, A Men's Store, is the store for you. John McDowell has created the perfect men's clothing store that "guys" will enjoy shopping in. It's fun, low-key, comfortable and not pretentious in any way. Whether you are a fashion plate or a dude who needs a nice shirt to wear with jeans on Friday night, Oslo's is the place for you. The staff are very knowledgeable and easy-going. The store is chock full of so many cool items, that it helps to talk to the staff about your interests and needs. There is probably the perfect piece hidden that you might overlook on your own. While prices are a step up from the popular chain stores, you will find unique and affordable items to enhance your basic wardrobe. These are pieces of clothing you will fall in love with and want to wear for years to come. Treat yourself and check out Oslo's, A Men's Stor... Read more

In Short Named after owner John McDowell Jr.'s charming Golden Retriever, this impressive men's shop offers a versatile look for the style-savvy Seattleite that easily transitions from work to going out. Classic and hip vibrant shirts, ties, jeans, slacks, sleek accessories and assorted grooming products are displayed deliciously. Celebrated designers represented include Robert Graham, LaCoste, Ted Baker and Permanent Vacation. The merchandise on hand is limited; so once a favorite one is found, don't leave it behind.

It's great to find a store that is completely for men and has great clothing. There's a great selection here for a boutique. It's really a superb store. They are very helpful and Oslo is a sweet dog who makes your feel comfortable while shopping.

I love that I can shop for my husband, my nephews, my father here and always find something that each one of them will actually wear. So many times you go in a shop and they make suggestions and you go home and the guy you give it to just never wears it...I have never had that happen with the gifts I've bought at Oslo's. Also, I love the bags...they look cool and are very sturdy and I use them to tote all kinds of stuff around.

Best selection of shirts in Seattle. They have lots of better brands and seem to have a good variety of styles. Everything looks good the way they put it together so it is easy to get that Seattle kind of style.

I think this shop was suited for the woman trying to get her boyfriend to become more metrosexual. Oslo the golden retriever is almost always there to greet people in the door and there's a barber right inside giving walk-in haircuts. They have a great selection of clothes for the fashion-fearing and loving guys out there.
