When I found whitefire, I had been looking for a wedding band for quite some time. I went from jewelry shop to jewelry shop and could never find anything I liked. Everything looked the same and the salespeople had no idea what they were talking about. I finally decided that custom was probably going to be the answer for me. I did an internet search for custom jewelers in Austin and found this place. I decided I would give it a shot; however, I wasn't too anxious due to the many unsuccessful attempts I had already had so I put ring shopping on hold for a bit. If you use Whitefire be aware that you will go through a non-traditional sales process, and for me this was a big plus! I hated the pressure sales tactics that I would get at most jewelry places. Joseph at Whitefire took the time to fully explain everything to me and to make up my own mind in a low pressure environment. I highly recommend using Joseph if you have any custom jewelry needs.

I found Whitefire Diamonds using Yelp to find best jewelry store in Austin. Yelp recommended it and it had good reviews and my girlfriend found a ring she liked there. I made an appointment to visit Whitefire and was pleasantly surprised. It felt very double O to walk into this building and wait in a waiting room and be buzzed in to sit down privately with the owner ( a gemologist & diamond broker) and pro in the business. He explained the basics and made our shopping experience very fun and educational. From my first call, they were responsive and dedicated, and I'd highly recommend to anyone searching for that perfect ring, even on a budget. I found the perfect setting online at White Fire, but as they are located in Texas, and I'm in New Jersey, the prospect of purchasing such an expensive piece online was a little unsettling. However, Joseph made the process very seamless, helped me pick out the perfect diamond to go with my setting, and made me feel very comfortable. I hit my custom-made ring (made by white fire) really hard and cracked one of my small diamonds..I called White Fire to replace the diamond. To my surprise, they replaced the diamond, polished and refinished the metal at no charge!!! that is service you just dont see these days. I highly recommend White Fire for custom work- I LOVE my ring and get tons of compliments. I'm thankful that I found a jewelry designer that would work with my grandmothers diamonds to make me a special ring!

I didn't want a diamond engagement ring and came into Joseph's with a ring in mind. I was in the market for an upgrade on my wedding ring but I also wanted an anniversary band. Joseph was able to "recycle" my old ring into an anniversary band & use the leftover diamonds in a new wedding ring. Joseph was very pleasant to work with & extremely knowledgeable. After spending six months diligently searching for an engagement ring, I chanced upon WhiteFire while visiting the Chase Bank building on Burnet Rd. As a native of England, in an effort to find the 'ideal' ring I even spent a week researching the various gemologist's in Hatton Garden, the UK's diamond capital. However, I finally made my purchase with Joseph. From a customer service standpoint he went above and beyond. On pricing too, he was far more reasonable than anywhere else I visited. I was looking for an engagement ring. I had been searching for a particular sort of design in a ring and was able to find what I was looking for at Whitefire. I set an appointment. I searched dozens of stores in search of my engagement ring for my fiance and was lucky to find Joseph and Whitefire here in Austin. I had a little education on the subject of buying diamonds but was re-educated and well informed by Joseph. No other Jeweler I talked to actually took the time to show me how to look for inclusions using a magnification tool as Joseph did. After visiting many malls and could not decide on what I wanted, I set up an appointment at whitefire jewelry. I have read many reviews of them and expected no sales pressure. Very good pricing on my diamond purchase. I shopped online at many stores including bluenile and other popular ones and I found whitefire carry an identical diamond at a lower price. I could have bought it directly online and saved some cost as whitefire does charges a stocking fee ( a minimal fee for the big purchase that I was making) for viewing and seeing the diamond before purchase at the store. Once I saw the diamond at the store, I was truly awe struck and nothing at the retail stores compare in quality. It also came with a GIA certificate which may help me with the resale value if I had to sell in the future. All in all I am one happy camper and whitefire is where I will shop for my next purchase. An overall pleasant experience.

I actually met with Joseph back in October but have been busy with work and travel. Just wanted to say thanks for the help and for making the experience of buying an engagement ring enjoyable. After I had already picked up the ring, Ruth wanted to go shopping for settings (she didn't know that I had bought the ring already.) Every store that we went into was very uncomfortable. Some salespeople even blew us off if we told them that we were only interested in the setting and not the diamond. If I hadn't found you and your company, I might be too frustrated and angry to ever buy another piece of jewelry. Ruth loves the ring and even her father is going around and showing it off.

In late spring my son in law brought back a number of rubies from Afghanistan. I was thrilled to receive two large stones, one for a ring and one for a drop, as well as two smaller stones for earrings. The rubies were not extremely high quality, just a beautiful color and it was great to have been remembered by my son-in-law. I took the stones to White Fire Jewelry, they appraised the stones, then advised me as to the unique design of a custom ring. The end result was truly beautiful. I received excellent customer service from Joseph at Whitefire. He really listens to what you are looking for, and takes into consideration your budget. He created a stunning engagement ring for me after my original set was stolen. He worked extremely hard to ensure he found a center stone that met my criteria within my budget. He worked with me on the setting I was considering having made and helped me make some decisions based on my lifestyle i.e. a high setting might not be good with 3 little kids.
