I took a class with my baby sister and loved every minute of it. I work out 4-5 times per week with weight training and spin classes etc. and I have been an athlete all my life. So I love finding new workouts that challenge me. What's so cool about Bar Method is that it really pushes muscle endurance. No matter how in shape you think you are Bar Method pushes that limit and helps you find new levels of sore.

I danced when I was younger, and I love pilates now, so The Bar Method was a great fit for me. It is a full body workout in 1 hour. The movements look like they should be so easy, but you soon learn exactly how hard core this workout actually is! And results come quickly. I can feel my body get leaner, longer and stronger with each class!

Every instructor is wonderful and each have taught me something new. I've had gym memberships, been to yoga classes and have never, ever, stuck with anything for 30 days straight. The introductory offer is amazing and it got me committed to exercising and in turn I feel so much better and I'm ready to sign up for more! the classes are amazingly FUN, hard, but difficult in a way that makes me stronger, hotter, and really proud of myself. Just show up at least 3 times a week and be ready to feel like a million bucks! Forget new clothes, I want a newly improved body!!

I joined the Bar Method in West LA 14 months ago. My goal was just to do something useful while i was waiting for the traffic on the 405 to get better, and why not getting some muscles where i needed them! My first class was awful. I thought i was going to be sick. I had never thought this would be a difficult or straining work out! It made me realize that i had only focused until now on a very limited number of muscles in my body, and that i had a lot of work to do if i wanted to look as toned and sexy and the other women in my class. I love challenges so i decided to stick to it and see if my body would change. During the 1st 3 months i did not see much, in fact i sometimes felt i was getting better. But then i started noticing that i was definitely much more toned than before, that i had 6 pack abs (seriously!) and that my butt that had been historically flat all my life was getting stronger too. My arms were the part of my body that changed the quickest (i had never worked them out... Read more

I love Bar Method! It's a great workout in an hour and you feel it in your knees even an hour after you're done!

Every second of this class is amazing. Creating that long, lean body from head to toe with a lifted seat. I have been to a million types of classes, and this is by far my favorite! All of the instructors are truly amazing! Sign up for the 1 month unlimited for $100 and go as much as you can and I guarantee you will be hooked.

I have had problems with my body and working out since my youth, implying that i am somewhere around 45 now! Anyone who can relate to having figure problems for 30 odd years can relate to this and anyone who is afraid of having fgure problems will too, i am sure! By problems i mean, never finding the motivation to keep going, the interest to hang on or the effort to keep doing it. I would get bored, seeing no signs of improvement and rather quickly give up, simply because the work i put in wasnt giving anything but promises. Then i stumbled on a comment on a friends facebook wall, and googled the place. One sunny day in Aug, being immensely tired of trying to defy gravity from my chair... i decided to give it a go...9 months ago. and i can say i am still hooked. I go as often as i can, crying my eyes out when i got a job that prevented me from doing it twice a day, but doing all i can to get there as often as i can, no matter how run down or tired i am. That said, my arms are more ... Read more

I've been a serious addict since just before Labor Day 2008. Not only did I shed the 18 post-wedding lbs I managed to gain, but I found muscles I didn't even know I had!! Never in my life have I stayed motivated or been obsessed with any kind of exercise. Bar Method is truly LIFE-CHANGING. It will absolutely transform your body, which I appreciate every day, but it has also done a serious make-over number on my mind and spirit as well!! I just had my 30th b-day this week and no longer fear my 40th & 50th, I look forward to having many more fabulous toned armed, tight tushie'd decades to come. The best one-word description I can think of is INSPIRING. Come get some, you won't regret it.

I have been taking Bar Method for years. Even though I have adult daughters, I am stronger than most of the 30 something year olds who first begin. I recommend this workout for all women and men who enjoy having control of their bodies and seek inner peace and satisfaction from completing this workout.

I was skeptical at first; I've been to yoga, done weights, pilates, etc., and have never felt so good and soar the next day. You are literally shaking trying to hold the positions, feeling the burn trying to do the last sit up. The next day you feel it! The instructors are really nice and patient. The only drawback is that if you are on a tight budget the classes are a little more costly than other types of classes/workouts, but worth it !! They do have "community" classes every once in a while, and that is a treat :)

I love this workout. I searched everywhere for a good pre-natal class. The yoga classes I tried were too sleepy, and I needed something a bit more intense. I've been doing The Bar Method since the first pre-natal class was offered at the West Hollywood location. I work out 5 days a week at the gym, and I do this on Saturday mornings. I'm pretty uncoordinated, so when I saw the word ballet I was a bit intimidated, but decided to give it a try anyway - and I'm so glad I did!! Now I'm at 33 weeks and hope to continue until the very end of my pregnancy... and then when I can, I'll start classes to get my body in pre-baby condition! I highly recommend it!

I have been doing the Bar Method workout for over a year now. I loved it since the first class I took. Every class is challenging and not one class is the same. You work every muscle deeply with a good stretch following the moves. My body has drastically changed and I love it. I used to dance when I was younger, and I completely have my dancer body back. I even stand with better posture. I recommend this to everyone I know that loves to workout and all my friends have fallen in love with this workout. They even have DVDs if you prefer or don't have a studio close by. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for results. I saw significant results within 2-4 weeks going 2-4 times a week. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!

I went to my first Bar Method class with a friend, I thought "how hard can it be?". I was in great shape, from spinning and I thought I could do this no problem. My first class was intimidating and I felt awkward. It took me a month before I went again and a month after that I started going 4 to 5 times a week. I fell in love with Bar Method. Bar Method has changed my body for the better. I just turned 40 and I am in the best shape and the smallest size of my entire life. The class is challenging, but when it is over I feel amazing and I love the way my body looks. The instructors are motivating and awesome and I feel like family when I walk in the door. Give it a chance and I promise, it will move your butt 3 inches closer to God too!!!

I took ballet growing up but stopped when I got in college. My body changed and I thought it was age. But with Bar Method, my body has changed back to the way it used to be! That's what makes this workout so amazing. It's also very intense and gets my mind off of my worries and I leave much more relaxed than when I got there. I love the music they play and the teachers are great - they give you pointers by name and teach a very tough class. No matter how expensive it is, it gives me a look that wardrobe alone could never achieve!

Best workout I've ever tried and I've tried everything! Totally changed my body in no time and lifted my butt like no other exercise I've done! The teachers are amazing and the clientele, with their long and lean bodies, keep me totally motivated!
