It's not high school, you don't have to be in every organization. Join one or two clubs that really interest you, and tell the rest no.

Overlooked by many, but cherished by those who take part in them. Not only does it look good on your college resume to say (for example) that you organized the budget for a $30,000 fundraiser, but it is a good way to meet people with simmilar interests and create a circle of friends. Depending on your major, certain student clubs can advance your understanding of the field and let you in on some valuable networking that could be crucial to landing a good job after college. Smart students that plan on going to graduate school know that involvement and leadership in student clubs can mean a great deal to admissions committees and good candidates usually hold one or more student club leadership roles. So don't be so quick to write this aspect of college off. People do look at these things.
