It's not exactly "health food", but I love their Smooth and Dreamy Vanilla Bean with the addition of fresh fruit.

Probably one of the safest bets of store-bought ice-cream. . .the classic chocolate is still one of my solid go-to's. . .

Flavorless, has the texture of frozen water. It has a very icy texture...you can feel the ice crystals crunch when you eat it!!!! It's poor quality and not very creamy. It melts easily.

My favorites was Breyers cherry vanilla and butter almond. But in the last year or so has gone down the drain. Less Bing cherries and smaller pieces, B quality. Ice cream flavor is off as well as texture. It all started when they started adding air into it. People noticed but the flavor didnt change much. Yet ! Not the same product it used to be. They have been changing the Quality thinking the public won't notice. Now it tastes poor trying to cut corners more concerned with profit than product quality. Very Sad. Tastes like cheap crap now. They can fool some of the people but not me. Will not buy it any more. Big disappointment. There not using the same extracts or fruits in the same quantities and quality pure sugar cane I doubt it. Sweetness is off. Some people say it is too much other say not enough. Manufacturing not consistent. I say its just not pure sugar cane anymore. Doesnt have that bright fresh taste anymore why Im not sure. Tastes synthetic like milk added ... Read more

Their Breyer's double churn taste as good as regular ice cream. Only 90 Calories per serving!

I love all kinds of flavors from Breyer's Ice Cream. But a simple scoop of Breyer's Vanilla Bean on top of a freshly baked apple pie (with a drizzle of caramel) is simply too good to pass up.

Breyer's is the best - right up there with Lee's, Ben and Jerry's and Aroma D'Italia. Breyer's and Lee's are the top two.

Breyer's is now shrinking the carton again with a 1.5 quart size. Looks like Dreyer's is following suit - I am now seeing their shrunken containers in stores. Nonetheless, when Breyer's is fresh, flavors like Natural Vanilla, French Vanilla, and Chololate are hard to beat. However, their signature product, mint chocolate chip, is often not minty enough. Here in Texas, Blue Bell still commands the most shelf space and by maintaing the 1/2 gallon size, they keep a steady clientele. However, I'll take Breyer's or Dreyer's anyday ahead of it.

Breyer's Vanilla Bean used to be the best. Then they changed the name to Breyer's Natural Vanilla and now it tastes like Kemp's. I found Blue Bunny Premium All Natural Vanilla, and now that's the best. (The other Blue Bunny vanilla ice creams - avoid. They taste like Breyer's.)

Breyer's is overrated, not nearly as good as some of its more creative, creamy rivals.

No matter what flavor I try, this is just too sugary. There's tons of sugar. WHY? Would it taste bad with less? probably not. The amount of sugar is ridiculous. I'm not sure if the ice cream companies are idiots or are the consumers idiots. They either make ice cream with tons of sugar or without it, instead artificially sweetened using nutra sweet crap. THis is absurd. I will never buy Breyers again.

Natural Vanilla Breyers Ice Cream is the best. Don't go for the French Vanilla, I accidently picked up the French Vanilla by mistake, and was very disappointed. Also Try the Stawberry flavor or cookies and cream.

So sad; I think it's too easily melted when up against Texas summer heat. Breyer's vanilla bean used to be one of my all time favorites in new york but breyers in texas just has that weird texture like it's been refrozen 1 too many times.

Breyers prides itself on using only pure ingredients, and not artificial additives. The problem is, those additives exist for a reason. Most Breyers flavors are very tasty, but due to the lack of stabilizers, it develops an unpleasant icy texture if you leave it in the freezer for too long.

Not so bad. Good taste, good price, good all around. The taste of their fat free and reduced fat ice cream also isn't that bad. You can taste the difference, but it isn't that bad.
