Three years of Circle K will let you see a lot of stuff, good, bad, and otherwise. Wasn't my first, but was for a couple of the kids I worked with.

This was my second job when I worked at Target. I was always good at math, so I did a fine job as a cashier. But I only lasted a few days because I got caught stealing some money from those registers and overcharging customers.

Possibly my favorite job of all time. Worked at Shaw's in Hooksett NH from age 18-20 and I will tell you, there were a ton of hot girls. NH is not known for it's lookers but I honestly think every one in the state must have worked at that Shaw's. I got plenty of opportunities to re-live my high school glory days and party with the 16 and 17 year olds. Back to the job...when I wasn't cashiering I'd be stocking shelves or retrieving carts. Low stress job, nice mgmt, best co-workers ever...wish I could have made a career out of it.

Cashiering sucks, because people can be very rude to you. After all, you're taking their *hard-earned* money. Sitting in an air-conditioned office is hard when all you have to do is pick your nose and pull apart paperclips. No, I'm not bitter.

This pretty much goes hand in hand in what I used to do in the retail business when I first started...it had ups and downs and all arounds. I miss it, but don't miss it. It has definately left me with lots of memories and I have met so many people that are now important in my life this way...
