I really enjoyed this movie. When a Hydrogen bomb explodes in outer space, it frees three very bad people. General Zod, Non, and Ursa. After being freed from the Phantom Zone, they go to the moon. There are astronauts there also and the three Kryptonians kill all of them. After Lois Lane discovers Superman's secret identity, he takes her to his Fortress of Solitude. A hologram of superman's mother told him that if he wanted to live with a mortal that he'd have to become one. He then steps into the molecule changer and becomes a human. Next they go to a restaurant and Clark Kent gets the crap beat out of him by a truck driver named Rocky. After getting the crap kicked out of him, Kent sees on television that General Zod and his two friends have taken over the world. Kent then goes back to the Fortress of Solitude and a green crystal restores his powers. After battling the three evil Kryptonians, Superman flies to the Fortress of Solitude. Lex Luthor tells Zod where the Fortress of Solit... Read more

A decent part two. The super-villains were a bit much for me though.

I really didn't want to give this movie 5 stars because it's NOT 5 star-worthy (cloose but not quite), but I couldn't help myself. I love probably love this movie more than I should, due to the fact that I saw it when I was about 6. It's just too corny, funny, and entertaining to not love.

I will always love the Superman movies. Christopher Reeve will always be my favorite Superman.

Three criminals from Superman's home planet of Krypton reek havoc on planet earth. The late Christopher Reeve was excellent in the title role and Gene Hackman played a great role as the villainous Lex Luthor.

This movie was a classic. It was much better then the first one. When ever I watched that, I used to think, 'I wish I could do all of that, fly, shoot laser beams out of my eyes, had super strength etc.' Plus there was hardly any swearing in it and it was fairly clean, apart from a few violent scenes. Superman's adverseries were amazing, especially that woman. That woman broke that big thug in the pub's arm when he had an arm wrestle with her and when helicopters shot missiles at her and her 2 colleagues, they wern't harmed!

Great movie. Captured the comic tone while developing the Kent / Lane romance, and it was a nice twist to see Supes go through Hell and back to appreciate his powers and put his dalliance in the proper perspective. A great movie. I wish the Spiderman / Hulk / Batman / XMen directors paid more attention to the first 2 Supes movies - they might've learned something.

Better than the original, the second Superman cinematic sojourn boasts some terrific ideas: three Super-villains, a very human Clark Kent, and Superman in love. Clark's revenge in the diner makes one want to stand up and cheer. Great stuff.

This is a highly entertaining movie, but the Krypton criminals have powers that I've never heard of and I don't buy that Lois Lane was brainwashed with one kiss. Our prayers are with you Mr. Reeves.
