No atmosphere beats it...67500 fans with the scarves up in the air singin you'll never walk alone. There's a reason it's called PARADISE.

A decent stadium unfortunately in a poor area. How ever especially in big european nights its one of the best sdadiums bar none in the world. The fans are friendly, the stadium is full of passion and proud football fans. Its a pity from the responses below they seem to be full of rangers fans trying to rubbish what is a world renound fantastic place to go and watch a football game.

Being a season ticket holder and a fan and follower of Celtic football club since 1964, I obviously have no hesitation in giving "Paradise" a 5 star rating. The atmosphere during a Champions League match has to be experienced to be believed. Celtic have the best fans in Europe - nay, the world.

Amazing stadium, amazing atmosphere, amazing fans. Fans recently voted the best in the world by FIFA and UEFA for their friendly behaviour at home and abroad. Celtic FC was originally founded as a charity to help the poor and underprivileged in Scotland regardless of race or religion. At the time this included many immigrants from Ireland, hence the link to Ireland. However, Celtic FC is, and always will be, a Scottish club, open and welcoming to all. Also, not all Celtic fans are Catholic, contrary to some of the posts below. I am a Scottish, Protestant Celtic fan (who cannot fathom what religion has to do with football anyway) and know of many other non-catholic Celtic fans. Disappointed to see so many bigotted and unjustified negative comments by certain Rangers FC fans. cheap lego gone wrong and a haven for people who think they are Irish, think they discovered you'll never walk alone and think they are more important than what they actually are. Decent sized club in a small nation... but the world is full of those, so they are nothing special. Like to glorify the deaths of their own countrymen at the hands of terrorist murderers also.

I am a Football supporter. I have travelled to many Stadia throughout Europe, including the Nou Camp, Old Trafford, Bernabau, Anfield and Ibrox. This is by far the worst Stadium I have had the mis-fortune to visit. It is poorly built, during my attendance at no point did I feel safe. Underneath in the concourse area, it is poorly lit, badly built and planned and the walls that are painted are harsh on the eye it is also located in derilect area. Our supporters bus was attacked as we entered the parking area, and I found the supporters abusive to me and my fellow supporters. Scottish football fans waving Irish flags and scarves left me confused as it is not the flag of either your country or Britain. Also the choice of songs left me baffled as well as the flags of a foreign country, singing about the death of Prodestants and your Queen. This stadium is perhaps the worst I've ever visited which is owned by a major club. With every passing year, it's failings become further apparent. There is really no excuse at all, for such a relatively big-named club to be playing their home games in such a dreadful venue.

Really neglected and shoddy stadium - unfinished in appearance and tatty in comparison to IBROX which has been accorded five-star status by UEFA. How many Stars does this pigsty have? None - it does not feature in the Euro listings because it fails to comly with so much of required criteria. A shambles that is falling to bits.

A Pig sty of a place, it doesnt even deserve the title of stadia. It has been the place of Scottish footballs shame for the past 30 years. ask big Jock coz apparantly, he knows why! In recent years, the stadiums roof has been unstable, the incline on the seating is at a dangerous level and the need for meccanno style architecture justs wrecks the City of Glasgows skyline. As far as matches go, well there has been no end to Celtic fans throwing missiles at the officials, when the Rangers beat them (on a regular basis). Why is there beams connecting from the roof? There shouldn't be any need for this in modern day stadia, seems strange to have a sliding roof and this in place. Good atmosphere until the opposing team score (liverpool in my case) This triggers a sponsored silence for the rest of the game. Wasn't impressed with the catering either. Not enough coverage for the number of fans that attend the games, not well thought out by Celtic when constructing the place, and don't start me about the exits from the ground either. This was the third ground I had visited in Scotland and the least impressive (although I have been in worse), Aberdeen and Rangers being the other two grounds. Give me YNWA at Anfield any day.

Built on a limited budget and it shows. Unclean feeling inside. Funny how their fans continuously go on about their proud Irish heritage and their proud Irish roots, but you don't see them going to Eire now do you, nope they are still in the United Kingdom. Very poor atmosphere especially when things aren't going their way, best fans in the world, don't make me sick.

Terribly sad story this I'm afraid. Much like the current team, the stadium has the look of an ageing rock star. It is shabby, dirty and in need of a serious financial injection. Unfortunately, the Chairman has the shortest arms and deepest pockets in world football, so don't hold your breath. The National Trust for Scotland may be the best (and only) hope.

The only stadium made from recycled human waste, the giro-dome sways to the rythym of the bouncy. Roof has been know to blow until green duck tape used to reinfirce it.

Celtic park is a horrible stadium. As for the fans, well they like to spit and throw missiles at the players and referees. Enough said really!

I'm not a supporter of either Celtic or Rangers, but have visited both stadia. There is no doubt that Celtic Park is the better of the two. Better songs, sung louder for longer. Friendly atmosphere.

Have been there when Celtic played Rangers (1-0 victory for Celtic in last minute) and a Champions League game versus Anderlecht from Belgium (3-1 for Celtic). Easily the most impressive football arena I've visited, in terms of atmosphere and stadium layout. Once they upgrade the old stand to same size as others, it will be truly awesome.

So good they let a replica of the European Cup reside here. Great facilities, amazing fans, best manager and holds 10,000 more fans than Castle Greyskull!! All in all an fantastic arena for football.

Almost every team to visit Celtic Park (from AC Milan to Barcelona, Bayern Munich to Liverpool) say it's the best atmosphere they've ever experienced. Not surprising given that FIFA and UEFA have both officially recognised that Celtic fans are the best and most fair-minded in the world. It saddens me to read some of the bigoted comments posted here by Rangers fans and right-wing extremists, attacking Celtic's proud Irish roots, making jokes about the Potato Famine etc. Fortunately, unlike Ibrox, where neo-Nazis sell recruit outside and people sing about being up to their knees in Catholic blood in the stadium, I'm glad Celtic Park is a great stadium for all races, colours and creeds.

The celtic board have chosen quantity over quality a very basic built stadium erected quicker than a two man tent. Sub-standard and very cheap,unlikely to ever make the UEFA grade.

I have visited both major Stadiums in Glasgow in the past two years.Rangers stadium is impressive, but how could anyone rate Celtic park? Is there a sewage works nearby? the night I was there the smell was awful, but the locals seemed used to it, so it must be permanent.

What a dump. Looks like a Toilet seat built from meccano and it destroys the glasgow Skyline. Just imagine if the BFG was walking through glasgow and he was bursting for a scheidt, this is where hed sit - im sure of it. (i think this may be where the smell from the supporters come from) i dont know. Overall a dive of a place, however im sure it would be better used as a plantation for growing potatoes.

This stadium looks impressive from a distance but up close and personal it is a dump. It's seats are poorly made and poorly set out, leg room is at a premium, for a relatively new stadium there is a lot of rust on show as well as a lot of painted over rust. The concourses are a nightmare to navigate due to various doors and passageways, the ceilings in the stairwells are low so anyone of a reasonable height has to stoop. Too many pipes and wiring on display. Already this ground has had to have a match postponed due to safety issues (dangerous guttering). It's an accident waiting to happen and the long term existence of this ground without constant and expensive upkeep is a dubious subject to say the least, One of the worst stadiums I have ever visited, And anyone who thinks it has a great atmosphere should listen a little closer to what is being sung. Disgusting.
