Glock 23

Smaller than the Glock 22, this is a .40 S&W caliber used by the FBI.

The first time I shot one of these at a range, I was really impressed. Recoil was manageable and allowed me to fire shots on target faster than the Springfield XD (the other .40 I was considering). It is also smaller and more easy to conceal than the XD. This is definitely a plus if, like myself, you don't have a very big frame. I would even go as far as to say that out of all the pistols I looked at, this seemed to strike the perfect balance between concealment and round capacity. I heard people have had FTF (failure to feed) and FTE (failure to eject) experiences using the Glock 23, but I had no problems after 200 rounds. This may be because the gun was already broken in and I don't limp wrist when I shoot. I will comment further on this when I get to break one in. I used mine to shoot glow sticks out of a tree at 25 feet. If I ever get glasses I'll try farther or smaller targets. Not a bad pistol, and damn near indestructible. I'm a fan of .40s. I can't hit something the size of a car with my S+W 9mm at 25 feet, so I guess that's why.

I shoot the ever lovin' fuck outta mine and it always delivers. Accurate enough and shit hot as far as reliability goes, which is great since I'm tough on equipment.
