People Who Are Unkind to Animals

I hate people that are crule to animals. However, I also hate our legal system for the fact that people who perposly abuse animals get a fine a a few months in jail. According to our legal system, animals are property, so the punishment for abusing said property is extremely limited. Even after this pet food recal, everyone who lost a pet to the stupidity of the pet food industry will only get payment for the cost of their pet and possibly vet bills. Pets are not property, they are living beings and it makes me sick that people can get away with hurting our animals.If we lived in a perfect world, all animal and child abusers would have the same punishment of rotting in hell!!!

This both angers and saddens me at the same time. People that are cruel to animals are cruel to people, and therefore in my opinion, are not nice.

hate this. anyone who is cruel to animals and causes them any harm deserved to be punished. that includes children. i would be very wary of kids who seems to get sick pleasure out of hurting innocent animals. they will grow up to be mean to animals as adults and probably mean to humans too. people who are cruel to animals are lowlifes. i want nothing to do with them.

I love animals and this just makes me furious. People who intentionally hurt and injure innocent animals are nothing more than animals themselves, in fact even lower!

This is very high up on my list of people that would anger me. Just as is is wrong to abuse people,you should not hurt animals.

This reminds me of all those Animal Cops shows on Animal Planet. What these people do is they rescue abused animals, give them a veterinary examination, and see if they're fit to be adopted to a good home. These animals are often starved to the point of emaciation, suffering from various ailments, etc. all because their owners neglected them. Often, the owners get away with a year in jail and/or a fine, which is considered to be a slap on the proverbial wrist. There are times when animal cops have to break up cockfighting rings and rescue fighting roosters only to put them down at the vet clinic because they would be unsuitable for adoption. That goes for fighting pit bulls; the ones that are the most far gone would be humanely euthanized because they would pose a danger to humans. Animal abuse should NEVER be tolerated, under any circumstances.

"Unkind" is annoying,"Cruel" deserves a fitting punishment,such a a heavy fine and/or jail.

"Annoy" isn't a strong enough word for my feelings towards these people, actually. You're annoyed by people who spit out car windows, not by people who commit crimes.

i cant even stomach the thought of people who do this. its just a shame that people have no second thoughts as to what they do.

They don't annoy me, they make me mad!

Every time I watch an episode of Animal Precinct on TV, I'm so surprised how many animal abusers there are out there.... It's horrible, we should be protecting them , not abusing them

YES! Those guys should be run down and killed for revenge on what they do to animals!

I do not believe in harming animals just to be mean.On the otherhand, I am behind the NRA and hunter's rights and think that PETA and some of the other radical outfits should be disbanned.

they bother me. i like animals better than people, so yeah, when i see this, i think about kicking a**.

(1=makes me incredibly angry). When it comes to animal cruelty, democrat and republican, conservative and liberal, alike usually feel the same- it's WRONG. There is no reason to be evil and unkind to an animal that usually can't defend itself and probably would love you if you gave it a chance. I have NEVER tolerated animal abusers and NEVER wil... ever.

People who would abuse or torture animals are among the lowest of the low. Having volunteered at an animal shelter in the past, I have seen some things so horrific I don't want to discuss them.

(1=beyond annoying) These people piss me off to no end. Even worse are the ones who justify their cruelty by saying oh, they don't have souls, they don't matter, as if god created animals for their sick amusement or something. And why the hell do people take their dogs out and leave them in the car when they go to the mall? On more than a few occasions, I'll go to the mall, and the car parked next to me will have a little puppy in there, whining and barking through a cracked window. When I come back and hour or so later, the car will STILL be there, the puppy still whining and crying. I have half a mind to slash their tires, but then that'd mean the dog will still be there for even longer waiting for a tow truck. If there aren't any laws against it, there should be.

People who don't value animals are pure self-absorbed egotists.

If god created the garden of eden and everything in it then why was there sin to begin with? A being as powerful as god should have been able to bar out sin, destroy it or prevent it from being created all together.

Animals are innocent, and that's why I love them. Small animals like dogs or cats cannot defend themselves against human cruelty. I know it's a cliche, but Be Kind to Animals!
