What a wonderful place for any dog to be able to spend time. The staff at HDR have always gone above and beyond in caring for my Eskie Kodi. I would recommend the Houston Dog Ranch to anyone who wants their pet to experience the best. In fact I feel so strongly about the Houston Dog Ranch and the staff that I wrote them the note below expressing just how I feel about them and wanted to share it with anyone interested in finding a place for their pet to flourish and grow. HDR Staff I just wanted to take a few minutes to thank all of you for taking such great care of Kodi during the Christmas holidays. As Kodi and I drove up the driveway to check him in all of the staff was calling out Kodi's name saying hi to him. What a great feeling your staff gave me as a pet owner. I have been going to The Houston Dog Ranch for over 2 years. I have used their boarding services as well as the Doggie Day Care. My dog went every Friday to the Big Dog Day Doggie Day Care. I thought they were a wonderful place. And my dog loved it. This past year they have hired a new "dog watcher" for the doggie day... care" by the name of Delia. She is rude and condesending. And it seems that she is valued more by the owner Tonia, than the paying customers. My dog barks too much. Can you believe it? Right. They don't want him to come to doggie day care because it hurts Delia's ears. She had to wear ear plugs, poor thing. What kind of business does she think she's in? I have a good, happy playful excited dog. Dogs bark. I have contacted several other doggie day camps and they laughed. I won't be going back to the Houston Dog Ranch. They are too expensive anyway. Great Staff. Excellent Positive Training. Amazing Facility. We were concerned about having to board our dog so soon after adopting him. He was rescued during Ike and had been in a number of different shelters and foster homes. He couldn't have been happier at the Ranch. At a recent training session at our home , he had tons of kisses for Colleen, his trainer there, the minute she walked in the door.

This place is amazing. When you arrive, it is hard to believe it is for dogs...the groomed lawns, swimming pool, overnight suites, etc. Then when you meet the owner, Tonia, you will never send your dog anywhere else. She is a wonderful person who will take great care of your dog. I highly recommend The Houston Dog Ranch for all dog lovers!

Houston Dog Ranch is the most amazing home away from home for my beloved animals. I would never leave my animals anywhere else. It has everything a dog and dog owner could want.

There will never be a nicer setting for dogs and people to enjoy close to memorial and the villages. I really enjoy leaving my dog while I am traveling, it is almost like "Jackie" is at home when he visits the Dog Ranch.

Visiting the Dog Ranch the first time, it was immediately clear they've created a tremendous facility to care for my small pet, I was even more impressed with the personal commitment, and love for the animals, that I felt from the staff.

The Houston Dog Ranch rocks! I highly recommend it for anyone needing a place to send their dogs. The facilities are beautiful and clean. Especially the private cabins - they are like the Ritz Carlton for canines! Wish I could check in myself....

The Dog Ranch is a wonerfull recreation of a western town - just for dogs. There they can rest, play, and learn with a caring staff. Nestled in a convenient area with easy access to I-10, it is easy to get to - there is even has a bus to pick up the pets. I give it 10 woofs.

If you haven't been to the Houston Dog Ranch, you are truly missing one of the most beautiful places to bring your dog and treat him like part of your family. The grounds are magnificent, the staff is amazing and makes a difference in your dog's life. They have always gone over and above to accomodate our pet's need.

The Houston Dog Ranch is great place for our dogs to exercise and burn off excess energy. The Staff are friendly and knowledgable with respect to all facets of dog training and socialization. Our dogs love being a part of the pack and especially the "dog bone" pool. The housing available for the dogs is second to none.

The Houston Dog Ranch is an amazing set up! There is a tremendous amount of room for dogs to roam and play, including a great swimming pool. The Dog Ranch is very well run by a staff that loves dogs, is very courteous and well trained. This is a great place for one stop needs - training, daycare, and boarding. Highly recommend.

You just have to try this place! My dogs GO NUTS when the bus pulls up! They hear it before I see it! They run and play to their hearts content. When they come home, they are relaxed and calm. It is the best place for my dogs. The facility is so beautiful.... it does not feel like you are in Houston. A must for any dog lover!

The owner, Tonia Whilden, takes great pride in what she does, she is the most hands on owner that I have ever seen. The Houston Dog Ranch was designed with your dog's best interest in mind. It is a great place to leave your dog for the day or you can take advantage of the luxurious dog suites for overnight stays. Where else can your dog swim in a pool shaped like a doggy bone.

My pets have stayed at the ranch on numerous occasions, long term & short term. Each time I pick them up, I feel guilty taking them back home - my place seems so boring! The cabins are adorable, even my Jack Russell dirt dogs love swimming in the pool! The staff is super friendly and I feel totally safe leaving my babies in their care. I couldn't as for a better "vacation" for my pets!

The dog ranch is an exceptional facility with an exceptional staff. The pets and their owners are treated with the utmost care and consideration. My dog loves to go "socialize" around the dogbone shaped swimming pool. All of the dogs are temper tested to be sure that they can get along with the other dogs-so no fights break out during the fun. This is a must see facility and a must try for any lucky dog!

The Houston Dog Ranch is a beautiful place and absoutely the only place in the city I would trust with my little dog. He's a member of the family and deserves the best accomodations there are. The Dog Ranch is spotless and well staffed. I have also taken him there for training and think they did an excellent job. I haven't personally taken my little dog to their doggie day care but have heard from friends and business associates that it is the best program in town. I highly recommend the Houston Dog Ranch.

We live in a high-rise and means that our dog is always on a leash when outside. On Wednesday mornings when I get the harness out for Bailey, he starts running in circles because he knows that the dog bus is coming to pick him up. When he gets to the Houston Dog Ranch and can run and play in a SAFE inviornment he is extatic. When the bus brings him and his friends home in the late afternoon, they are exhausted. Most of the other dogs I know who attend HDR are the same, tired and happy. I love the report cards each day.

You never have to worry again about where to board your dogs when you leave town. The staff truly loves dogs and will make sure your dog has a great time. My dogs never like to go anywhere, but the minute we pull up at the ranch, they both jump out the car and are ready to go play. If you are looking for dog daycare, you have found the right place. My dogs come home exhausted, and love to go play with the pack. HDR has thought about every last detail, even down to report cards for owner's so you know what your dog did while you were gone.

The Houston Dog Ranch is a one of a kind place! My dog has been going there for over a year now and he loves it. The staff there works extremely hard and takes great care of the dogs! I know with out question that when i leave my dog there he's going to have a great time and i know he's in good hands. When i go pick my dog up and i can see all the dogs out there running around the pool you can tell the dogs are having a great time. If you need a place to take your dog during the day or board them over night there should be no question about it The Houston Dog Ranch is the place to go!

All the amenities a Human would want in a Daycare, except this was designed just for Dogs. If you love your dog like we love our 3, then look no further. Whether it's a romp for the day for exercise, when life doesn't afford you the luxury of time, your Peek-a-boo or Sampson don't have to sit at home. Plenty of room to run, play and a even swim! They even have a pickup/drop-off service! If you are away to your favorite out of country vacation hideaway and your pals can?t come along, you won?t believe the accommodations for your best friend! Do yourself and your dog buds a favor and check this place out. I promise you WILL NOT DE DISAPPOINTED!

I could write several pages on how beautiful and well kept the Dog Ranch is, but the owner Tonia is the reason the Dog Ranch is such a great place for our dog(s). She is definitely a great dog lover and is someone we all want taking care of our dogs when we need someone else to. As a matter of fact, I have never met anyone who cares as much about my dogs as I do, until I met Tonia. Her love for dogs also extends to her staff. She is very particular about who she hires and lets take care of your dog(s). If you love your dogs as much as I do, then this is definitely the place for you. This is the only doggy day care I trust 110% with my family!

The Houston Dog Ranch is the best! The facilities are immaculate, the staff is superb and the dogs have a wonderful time here. My dog has been coming to the Ranch since it opened. He looks forward to playing with his friends on "Big Dog Days". He actually whines when he arrives because he can hardly wait to get out of the car and then he drags me to the gate to go in. He plays and swims until nap time and then he gets up and does it again until pickup time. I can count on him being loved, well taken care of and well exercised when he is there. The boarding is fabulous and the training is great! This is a "dog's dream" place! Your dogs will have a blast and you will never worry about them.

It is a campus like atmosphere when you show up at the dog ranch. My viszla starts wagging her tail uncontrolably with excitment everytime we make the turn to enter the dog ranch. Once you arrive you and your dog are treeted like family. I have a high energy dog and the exercise and workout she gets at the dog ranch is just what she needs. They also have a pick up and delivery service that is great when your schedule is demanding. We also love the dog ranch because we no longer feel guilty when we have to board our dog overnight or for the weekend because we know she is getting plenty of exercise and play time. Besides the great service and programs provided at the dog ranch the facilties are amazing. It looks more like a summer camp for kids than a dog facilty, you have to see it to believe it. For those who want to provide the best for their pets I highly recommend it.

I was given the grand opportunity by the owners of the Houston dog Ranch, to work with them during the planning stage of putting together this amazing facility. The concepts and the unique ideas they had, blended perfectly with one of the products my company supplies and install and I was fascinated by them. They saw the value and long term benefits of our K9 grass and took full advantage of it. This product helps them to maintain a very clean and safe environment for the animals in certain areas, with minimal maintenance required. We installed much of this product throughout the property and they continued to add more over the years. I've worked with many great owners and excellent pet facilities all over the State of Texas. I've never seen anything like it. This place is dog nirvana. The dog ranch puts dogs first in everything they do. The owner Tonia is hands on and is an amazing woman. Her passion and committment to excellence are unsurpassed. She is the true dog whisper! Priced about the same as other top kennels, but offers sooooo much more!

Houston Dog Ranch is like a beautiful sprawling ranch-right in the middle of houston. It is dog heaven and the staff is so nice and attentive- to the humans too! It's a great place to show your best friend how much you love them.

Houston Dog Ranch is unbelievable! When I arrived on the property, I was amazed! I wanted to stay there myself. Sam has such a great time in his daycare class, and he comes home EXHAUSTED! Plus they have a bone shaped swimming poolfor dogs! If you want to go the best possible place for daycare/boarding in Houston...THIS IS IT!
