Oh my God! This thing is horribly disgusting if you ask me! Not just because it's 500 calories of which 240 is bottom buldging fat, it's because I find them completely un-edible. I compare these awful things to being a down graded version of a military MRE, which stands for "Meals Rejected by Etheopia."

A travesty to anyones memory of an authentic Spare Rib.Road kill is probably more palatable.
elephantman 03/22/2009
good taste

Say watcha want, but I love this guinea pig meat!! McRibs do have a cult following. Also they dont taste so bad re heated like a humburger does. They were talking about retiring this sasonal sandwich, but thats yet to be decided.

Has more depth than the entire Batman franchise.

Founded by Bill Clinton in 1995, the McRib was used as a filling snack when Wendy's frosty just couldn't soothe a big mac.
ValkyrieVoice 07/12/2008
I love the McRib! Especially the barbecue sauce! It's an ingenius idea and one that I've never seen in any other restaurant. I mean, no one's even tried to make something that it could compete with.
dodgecountry20 00 07/06/2008

When they first came out they were much better, the quality now seems to be lacking a bit.

Truly inedible nastiness. McBlech!
trebon1038 05/05/2008
never tried them....I love ribs but this just doesn't look appealing to me.
sperryc 05/05/2008
eh... Not a huge fan, mainly because the idea of rib-shaped, processed mystery meat makes me lose my appetite.
irishgit 04/11/2008
Should be called a McGristle. Its a product that has McFailed.
SanDiegoFunkDa ddy 01/02/2008
TOXIC WASTE! How can anybody eat this? Clue: They don't tell you what part of the pig the meat comes from. It could be a pig's rectum! Then its processed and unknown chemicals are added to preserve it. I wouldn't feed this to my dog

Mcrib is by far the best thing on the menu when it is avalible.. i lived in texas for 18yrs and every year when it was avalible i had it.. i now live in arizona and have never seen it here. i wish it was avalible whenever wherever..it is the best.
coopertrooper1 12/16/2007
i'd rather insert a pineapple in my urethra than eat a mcrib
twansalem 06/20/2007
I wish they had this on the menu full time. The McRib is much better than any of their burgers.
primaxdonna 02/21/2007
how about calling it mc-gross, mc-disgusting, mc-puke?
oscargamblesfr o 02/20/2007
How about calling it McDeath?
JesseTanner 02/10/2007
this is the best food there is i found in walmart they have one like it but you have to put kc masterpiece bbq on it and onions and pickles they need to bring it back some one tell me where i can get one its like coke to me ill sell my t.v and cd's for one just one !!!!!!
jr8x 08/02/2006
I enjoy this sandwich. Unfortunately it is not a regular menu item, and when it is on the menu I have to sell one of my kidney's to get one. The sandwich needs to be bigger for that price. Or make the price smaller to suit the item.
numbah16tdhaha 07/22/2006
Great but I haven't seen them in quite some time.
living4himdail y 12/29/2005
I do not normally eat at McDonald's, but this sanwhich is yummy! My 12yr odl is extremely picky and he loves it! I just wish they could keep it on the menu permanently.
danger 11/10/2005
The McRib plays on my heart strings like an old lover, it comes and goes each time making new promises of staying forever, but then it leaves in the middle of the night with out saying goodbye. I love the variety it adds to the menu by offering a bbq selection but i hate only being able to get it certain weeks of the year. They should either put it on the menu permanently or get rid of it all together. Stop toying with my stomaches feelings!!!!!
Optimus Prime 09/02/2005
The only reason I ever go to McDonalds. Unfortunately, it's only on the menu for a few weeks every year or so. They ought to keep it around, certainly better than any other sandwich on McDonalds' menu.
Rushboy 08/28/2005
This is a good sandwich but it comes and goes too fast .
