Nick gives the best haircuts. He pays attention to the little details and make sure you leave there fully styled. I have been to some places where they cut your hair, blow dry it a bit and send you on your way. Not this place. Thank you Mosaic!

Mosaic Salon is great, but this review is about my awesome hairstylist, Aubrey. Aubrey rescued me from a virtual disaster at the hands of a terrible "hairdresser," and I have been a loyal client for over four years now. She is talented, sweet, honest, and LISTENS. Aubrey does not try to push anything, and I receive compliments from total strangers about my hair. Astonishing, eh? She gives super cuts, great styles, and I would recommend her to everyone.

Today I saw Tonya Gibbs and she was great. She was very educated, and acted like a professional but was also very personable. She took the time to look at my hair, evaluate the situation, and gave recommendations. She definitely knows her stuff. She did an awesome job on my hair, and I will definitely go back. The cut and color were a little pricey, but with experience I've learned that you usually get what you pay for. Her sister Tasha did my eyebrows and they look great. It was my first time having my eyebrows waxed and shaped, and I have to say I am already addicted. : )

Wow, I've been going to Gaby for waxing and skin care for almost 2 years. First of all, I love my brows. I'm a blond so she tints them a middle brown and then waxes them to perfection! I also get other waxing done and she does a quick, painless, and clean job. She uses a numbing solution on my bikini area....I sure it helps, I haven't tried a bikini without it and I don't want to! Now the best part...her facials. It is a total mind escape...everything from the massage to the aroma therapy. My skin has dramatically changed in the last year or so. It went from dry and lifeless to smooth and hydrated....people tell me I look a lot younger than before I had treatments done. Best of all she is a total sweetheart. I am so comfortable with her and she ALWAYS has a smile on her face. I highly recommend Gaby Antonucci for the best all around esthetics service.

Not only is Patrick awesome at cuts and highlights (he's so precise and my highlights look perfect every time!), but he's also drop dead adorable. I wish I were a gay man so I could flirt with this guy - he's precious. I've never paid that close of attention to the rest of the salon. I know the bathrooms are a gawd-awful pink, but who cares. The work Patrick does makes any salon mistake forgivable, and he's worth every penny he charges.

I have been going to LIz for almost a year. I travel all the way from San Francisco to have her do my hair. I am never disappointed. She does an amazing job every time and I always walk out happy. My hair has never looked so good. April is also amazing. She did my makeup for my wedding and it lasted all night and looked fabulous in pictures.

Sara Tittle gave me an excellent haircut. I wanted to get a new updated look, and she took the time to talk to me to find out what I desired, then she followed through with a great cut. I'm recommending her to my friends, and my roomate already made an appt. to see her.

I am a huge fan of Mosaics. I have been a client for over 5 years. Their stylist are personable, well trained and up to date with the look of the times. Their waxing staff is extremely professional and makes an ackward situation relaxing and painless. The staff throughout the salon are friendly and always willing to lend a hand to each other. I strongly recommend Mosaics. The salon is a highend establishment and 100% worth the extra cost.

I recently made a big change in my appearence...Went from long (LONG) hair to collar length! I'm not sure how Tari knew what I was hoping to look like when I was done...but she read my mind and gave me a cut that is utterly FLAWLESS! I know it's one thing to walk out of a salon feeling like a million bucks, so I decided to wait a couple of days before writing this review. Tari's cut just proved itself...I just got done doing it myself for the first time. This cut is flawless, effortless and looks like a million bucks! The best thing is: I will never be afraid to try something new ever again....As long as Tari is the one cutting my hair! Tears of joy for Tari!

She knows what's up. I have been to two other ladies there, and no one will wax your brows as clean as Gabby. I truly cannot go to anyone else but her for my brows. People who work there will tell you the same thing. She will tell you what is wrong with the, where you need to grow them in and all the good stuff.

Tonya is a hair goddess. I have been to a lot of high-priced salons...and never been totally satisfied. But with Tonya I am totally happy about the cut, color, highlights and health of my hair. When I first came to her I had tons of different colors in my hair (even a little bit of pink...not that I asked for pink...but that's what I got at Salon Cuuve when the girl I saw put red on blonde). Tonya somehow got my blonde highlights back...and it looked even better than before. She also chose a beautiful brown for me that looks red in the sun. She did my highlights in a way where I could wear my hair in different directions. My cuts are always on point...and she has really educated me on how to take care of my hair and what products are best. She is a true professional and takes her craft seriously. I would highly recommend her to any of my friends and I would trust her to make any decisions regarding my hair anytime. It's so nice to finally have a hairdresser I can trust!

My sister-in-law told me about this place since her hair always looks great I figured I'd give it a try. I put off going for months till I worked up the nerve and I'm glad I did. It's been months since I've had my hair done my last stylist was ok but I still wasn't completely satisfied with her so I was skeptical at first trying yet another stylist especially after reading about the pros and cons of this place. I however had a great experience with LIz she made me feel comfortable and understood my hair "drama". The staff seems to know all the latest styles and it was nice to see people of all ages getting their hair done. I can honestly say that I did not see one person walk out with their hair done bad. I will certainly be going back and seeing Liz.

I really can't imagine how anyone could have such bad service at mosaic! I've been a loyal client for 6 years and always have been treated warmly and left with amazing hair. Cimmarron at the front desk is awesome! Aubrey has been doing my hair for 4 years there and makes me feel like a million bucks everytime. I highly recommend it.

this salon is the best. I wouldnt go anywhere else ever. Ive been a proud customer since october. I always get my hair cut by liz, she does the best job. I always tell her to be creative and thats definetly an area she has alot of. She is really good at improvising, fiting my cut to my face. The salon itself is awesome to go to. I dont know what the person below is talkin about the front desk being snobby, ive gotten nothing but help from anyone there. My girlfriend recently got her cut from mosaic by Liz. She now will be a life time customer like myself. As far as beverages who cares, youre there for a haircut. I love this salon its the greatest, i always recommend it to my friends and family. Reasonable prices for a kickass haircut. The best part about Liz, she shows you how to style your hair, which for me is awesome because im the worst at styling my hair, but with the help she gives me in tips, i can reproduce the masterpiece of a haircut she gives me. Liz is the best. I trust her do basicly whatever to my hair which is a big task. Mosaic itself needs a little work on paying attention to the customer and offering beverages. I have been going here a while and things have changed. Front desk seems pretty snobby and big egos.... THE CUSTOMER IS PAYING FOR YOUR JOB! Might be a better way for them to view there position. If Liz was not there I would go somewhere else-she makes the place for me.

I called Mosaic Salon because another salon in town ruined my hair. I got an appointment with Michele. I didn't know what to expect but I couldn't believe the service I received. She was great. She fixed my color and gave me the best hair cut ever. They work as a team in the salon and they made me feel comfortable. The front desk receptionist could be a little friendlier and have better skills and phone manners. I would recommend this salon and Michele.

I went to a salon in Folsom who ruiined my hair color. Tonya corrected my hair color and I LOVE IT! She is pricey, so if you are looking for a "bargain"..she is not your girl. The front desk staff stinks however. They are snotty and rude, and have terrible phone manners.

By far the worst service i have ever experienced. The front desk staff is the most horrible and incompetent staff i have ever dealt with! The haircut and highlight service was extremly mediocre! While Tonya was okay, she was busy trying to sell me product rather than focus on my hair. I have never met someone who talked so much, but didn't focus on the task at hand! I haven't lived in Sacramento all that long and all I kept hearing about was Mosaic salon so i thought i would try it out, and needless to say i am extremly disappointed!! What is so great about this salon? Word has it that half the staff left and all Mosaic is left with is a bunch of new people.......and trust me, IT SHOWS!!! I guess training stylists is not a priority any longer! Don't believe what you hear about this place, it is poorly decorated and obviously poorly staffed!

I was happy to find that Tari James Palmer has moved back to town and picked up her shears again. I came in recently and got an amazing haircut. While I loved my last gal once I found out Tari was back I had to book an appointment. Tari is scathingly witty, always professional, and honest about what works and what doesn't. I highly recommend booking an appointment with her - for color or cut. Hurry and book now before word gets out that she's back in town and she's not immediately available. I've missed her - welcome back Tari!

I would definetly recommend Tanya Gibbs if you want a color correction. She was able to turn my blah-dark brown overdyed hair into a beautiful golden chestnut brown in one visit. She was very professional and pleasant to talk to. The only drawback about mosaic is their front desk staff. They're not good with taking phone messages and relaying them back to their staff. i waited in the lobby for a half hour because they failed to tell anyone that I was there. Tanya also had one of the staff up front put quarters in my meter for me, so I wouldn't have to run outside with a towel on my head, but I leave the salon, only to notice that my parking expired long ago. Thankfully I didn't get a parking ticket.

Sara was referered to by a friend. The first time my experience was okay but not worth the money. Especially how they have the set up to change into a smock, just a shower curtain covering you. The hair cut was okay but not worth the money or the atmosphere. So I decided to try this salon again. What a mistake. My hard drive went out in for one of my registers a work. I spoke the receptionist letting her know the problem that I was have and would late 10 minutes because I was coming from Davis and the Traffic was busy. If they was a problem with Sara seeing me late have her assistant call me to reschedule. She said she would relay the message. Arrived 10 minutes late for my appointment and rushing changed into my smock and waited for her assistant. He told me he could not wash my hair and start the process because I was late. I told him that I called that I would be late and he should have called me. He was so rude to me stating that was not his problem that I was la... Read more

I had my hair colored and cut by Tonya Gibbs. She is great and I will go back to her without hesitation. She listened to what I wanted, gave me advice on what would look good with my skin color and features, then created a style that stayed true to my wishes, only updated! I would definetly recommend her! Only problem is that it is a bit on the pricey side. The cost of getting hair done is getting a bit out of control people.

I was extremely disappointed with my experience.. For 100 bucks I got a 35 dollar single process job. The staff was nice but not focused on service nor experienced enough in the trade to commande the price I paid. I tipped the technition in full anyway as is my style - but I will never return nor will I recoommend this salon to anyone. I left with a semi wet head out of utter frustraion from the technition pulling/snapping my hair in a crappy metal round brush and she clearly overprocessed my single process. I got home shampooed and gave myself a home treatment and my hair is better. Also i try to use the websites to assess cards taken and how tips are handled - maybe I missed something but aside from the front desk attendant who was more busy on a personal call and slinging my Amex platinum card back at me saying we dont take this and also informing me that tips are cash only - i felt like I was in a rude nail salon in tulsa... get a grip I will never return - too much hype an... So I am in this area for training and I was looking to get a haircut. I searched this site and found that many people loved this place. I called at 1pm on friday and got an appointment for that afternoon. I have to say that Terri was absolutely great. She's been in the business so long that she knew exactly what i wanted. She was detail-oriented, honest and straight-forward. I have had many bad experiences with salons, but she made it a very pleasant experience. I got a fabulous haircut, and if I lived here, I would be returning again and again. I highly recommend Mosaic Midtown. They are worth the money!!

I saw Tonya Gibbs 2 weeks ago and I saw her out tonight and she happened to mention this sight to me and I just want to say?.. if I could I would put her name on my car or on my desk at work She has taught me more in one service than in any Magazine or internet site in just one visit. She introduces the AMAZING, no LIFE SAVING product called kerastase. She is a gifted person when it comes to knowing color or these treatment things from kerastase. She is the GREATEST- and I?m extremely picky. GO SEE TONYA GIBBS!!!!!!!!

I went to Mosaic yesterday, for the first time. I saw Tonya who gave me a TERRIFIC haircut; I am getting tons of positive feedback and she said it won't need maintenance for 8 weeks! She was fantastic in the way that she demonstrated how I can could style it myself. Additionally, Tonya is a terrific conversationalist - participatory yet non-obtrusive. I plan on going to her again for a cut and color for a very special family event.

This review page was very helpful for me to find a person to cut my hair. I took the recommendations to have a consultation with Sara Tittle and really enjoyed her professionalism, and the whole ambience of the Mosaic Salon. I'm a guy who is 39 and wanted a different haircut, that is still hip/stylish but different than the one I had. She gave me a great cut, and I was very happy. We decided to go a little shorter on top, and she fixed my sideburns and cut my sides different than I used to do. At work I immediately got 3 positive comments in 4 hours! What a great feeling. I also liked the way her assistant offered me coffee, tea, or hot chocloate, and the way the assistant shampooed my hair and gave me a relaxing head/neck massage. I almost fell asleep in the chair. Its a very popular place, and I liked that, and guys hint hint: hot chicks everywhere! This was my first visit to Mosaic Salon and it was absolutely fabulous. As soon as you walk in, you are greeted by a welcoming receptionist. The ambiance is very modern and cool. My european facial was booked with Gabby and was without a doubt the best I've ever had and let me tell you I've had quite a few. I also received an unexpected bonus, she waxed my eyebrows for free because it was my first facial with her. What a pleasant surprise. I left extremely relaxed, and my skin and brows looked amazing. It seemed like I was always searching for a stylist who would consistently give me a great cut and style. I would even drive to surrounding cities to try out a recommendation by a friend or family member. Whenever I thought I had found a "great" stylist, I would inevitably be disappointed. Well, this isn't the case with Sarah. Sarah has been cutting my hair for over 2 years. I have very thick, naturally curly hair. Sarah is the only stylist that has ever consistently given me 100%. She never cuts my time short or leaves me with a less than an amazing haircut even though my hair takes a long time to cut and style. For example, she flat irons my hair with such detail that you would never suspect my curl. Also, she knows my curl and cuts my hair so that I can have an adorable style straight or curly. If you saw my hair, you would know that is a big deal. If you have curly hair, you also know that is a big deal! (And it's not like any of the other stylists I went to ever gave me that kind ... You need to go to Mosaic and see Kayla Nguyen. She has all the skills for curly hair to make you look great! No uneven craziness, or massive poodle curls. She listens to what you want (tells you what's realistic) and does a great job making you look fantastic! She also does a great job getting my curly hair stick straight with no frizzy aftermath. You won't be disappointed!

Hi, I'm one of those guys that for the longest time only got the $10 10-minute haircuts at Supercuts. One of my good friends recommended that I go with her to see her hair stylist Sal at Mosaic and the experience totally changed my attitude about haircuts. I had never gotten a haircut with that type of attention to detail, it took almost an hour as oppose to the 10 minutes I was used too. After the haircut, he also dried, flat ironed and styled my hair for the first time in my life and I loved the look so much I had to get my own flat iron. I have been going there since, I highly recommend it.

When I first decided to go to Mosaic I was pretty skeptical because I'm very particular about my hair. I know exactly what I want and how to tell a stylist. Anyway, when I went to Mosaic they obviously knew what I was talking about. They were very attentive, listened to me and asked questions to make sure they got my cut exactley right. It was amazing. I have spent hundreds of dollars for less appealing cuts/colors. I highly recommend them!! I have had many cuts/colors and each one has been better than the last. I also recommend them for their amazing spa mani/pedi, waxing, and eyebrow/lash coloring. Everything was amazing. For once, this is a salon that has great results every time.

I felt very confident in her, and gave her a try, I am very happy, thanks for recommending this place in your reviews, I'm a guy who is particular about my hair, and I moved here without knowing where to go. I'm glad I found her and she has cut my hair 3 times now, I'll recommnde her to anyone (guys or girls) since she is quite a pro at hair cutting. I've tried other places & have gone to barbers to only be disappointed in the outcome. Sara has lots of experience and said she does either guys or girls hair. Since she had so much experience I gave it a try and I'll be back every month now. The front counter people are very pleasant too, and you will be offered iced tea, etc.. I visited MOSAIC after many years of going to various local Inexpensive manicure and pedicure salons around the Sacramento area. At first I thought it was expensive, until I discovered why. They offer the most up to date methods of pedicures and manicures, in a safe and clean environment. From the moment you walk in they make you feel completely at ease. I am now sold on their spa pedicures and manicures, and I will not be going anywhere else. For your sake, if you are a spa junkie like me, GO, GO, GO!!! You will not regret it.
