I recently switched dentists and now am a patient of Dr. Petrilli's. He is a fantastic dentist who is intelligent, kind, personable, patient and has a phenomenal office staff! I highly recommend him.

Response to pnthrsfan00 I am Dr. Petrilli and feel that it is necessary to respond to what someone said about my attitude towards my patients. I am being accused by pnthrsfan00, who has apparently never stepped foot into our office, of treating one of his/her co-workers 17 year old son poorly while he was being treated in our office by me. Apparently this co-worker heard me say to her son "shut up and stop whining like a 2 year old." Patients who bring their children to our office know we would never treat them in this way, just ask around. We allow parents in the treatment rooms with kids of all ages. This is a second hand account of something that never happened. Why would someone who has never been to our office take the time to write such a long negative review about something that doesn't involve them. This person has never met me, my partners, or any of our staff. It obviously sounds like pnthrsfan00 is a disgruntled patient or random person who felt the need to write suc... Read more

STAY AWAY FROM THIS DENTIST. I have been recently looking for a family dentist, and have asked around. I had a co-worker who used to go to Caldwell, Bills & Petrilli DDS until recently. This is how she explained what happened: When she first started bringing her family to this Dentist, things seemed OK. On her third visit she was walking in when a lady was rushing out all flustered, they passed at the doorway entrance and the lady passed a comment to her to leave this Dentist before they screw you over too. It took 2 more visits to complete her work. A few months passed and her son who is 17 had terrible aches in his tooth and gums and she brought him into see Dr. Petrilli after an examination he told her what the issue was and said he time to do the work now if she wanted. She went to the waiting room area when her son stayed behind to get the work he needed to help with his pain. A long period of time went by and she was not given any updates, she watched patients come and go and ... Read more

My family is thrilled to have Caldwell, Bills, and Petrilli as our dentists. We primarily see Dr. Bills; we are happy to see the other doctors as well. We have been patients of his for 10 years. It's been an easy experience, they treat us as if we are family. I've been to other dentists and have heard of friends that keep finding dental practices that seem to always want to sell you something--they are not like that at all. I've got 2 daughters and a younger son. My 2 girls have had 8 teeth each removed for their orthodontics from Dr. Bills--he's great with children. I was thrilled when Dr. Bills saw my sister from out of town on the weekend at the office for an emergency...and, Dr. Bills is open on Fridays. I want you to also know that Dr. Bills doesn't hurt when he numbs me...I know he really cares. The staff is professional and caring...I feel very comfortable. I wanted to write this review because I read another city search review about how another patient of Dr. Bills w... Read more

I just resently moved to charlotte from seattle and was very nervous about finding a new dentist. I had a horrible experience as a child with a dentist so I had'nt been to one in about 12 years. Since then, my son and I had been going to the same dentist for about 7 years and I was finally becoming very comfortable with him. I then I had to relocate to Charlotte(take a deep breathe). I was having anxiety just thinking about it. I was referred by co-workers to their dentists, but would never go to see one of theirs until a doctor that I worked with told be about his family dentist, Dr. Bills of Caldwell, Bills and Pertrilli. Knowing how some doctors think that the world revolves around them and their needs I took his suggestion and called on Dr. Bills. When making my first appointment I informed his staff of my past experience, fears and concerns. They assured me I was in good hands and that all of my concerns were their concerns also. That helped out a great deal because knowing m... Read more

Your comment about the 100% charge for a missed appointment is such a fairytale. You really shouldnt put things out there that are obvious lies. Anyone that has ever missed appointments for any Dr. would know this. Thats not even legal!! And if you were stupid enough to pay that charge I have a fake diamond to sell you for $40,000.

The office is a usual office. Cubicles with small televisions.(which I don't want when you have a mouth full of Novacaine and two people talking) Hygenist is polite but seemed very rushed. They do file insurance, but estimate an amount for you to prepay before insurance pays. I do not personally care for this dentist. If you are a patient and wanted to change within this practice I would recommend Dr. Patrilli. Because I don't want this dentist at any time, I have chosen to go elsewhere.

I appreciate a professionals time, however a charge for 100% of the fee (approximately $300.00) for missing a dental appointment is disrespectful to the patient, especially when you wait time after time for your appointments.
