I Agree with the bad reviews below! BOYO is the worst!!! I had to load the truck by myself. I had a VERY BAD experience with them. They not only showed up late but also worked EXTREMELY SLOWER THAN SLOW!!! They even went to MacDonals to eat in the middle of the 15min trip for 30min and charged as if they were working. So we have to pay for their break time! They carried little boxes one by one and with the big ones they just throw them carelessly.... they were just reckless with all our belongings. It worker's POOR performance is amazing. They are not professional at all! I am so disappointed with BOYO because we had to help them move, we even worked harder than them!!!!!!!! I was misled by all the good reviews... I DOUBT IF THEY ARE REAL. Whoever need moving just PLEASE AVOID BOYO. Don't fear to tell your bad story with them we have to stand together to fight against such horrible company!!

Boyo Movers moved us recently and the guys told us to put in a review for them. We were able to schedule the move at the last minute, they were on time, and they worked very efficiently. The two men were friendly and courteous. We were happy with the move. We would use them again and highly recommend them to anyone.

I so agree with the bad reviews below! BOYO is horrible! I had so bad experience with them. They not only showed up late but also worked EXTREMELY slow!!! The owner was very fierce and low-educated, he always told us that "this's not my problem". He asked for cash only, even asked us to pay for their break time! He also totally ignored my complaint about his worker's POOR performance. He kept saying that labors had to work slowly so wouldn't get hurt, but the real problem is that his labors are not professional at all!!! Owner talked a lot and he accidently told us that his labors were picked up from the labor pool at the last minute! Also his labor told us he paid them 10 bucks per hour only, so they were so lack of the motivation! I, too, was displeased with my recent move within the city using Boyo Movers. With my family helping and the house completely packed, it took them almost 8 hours to move me. In addition, I had to dismantle the furniture and they complained about the content of the drawers not being packed. Both of those items were discussed during the initial quote and I was assured the men carried tools to disassemble/re-assemble beds and that the clothing in drawers didn't need to be packed. Also, they could not fit my 3 bedroom lightly furnished home into one truck load, but offered to make a return trip for an additional $300. I declined. Most distressing however, was their request for partial payment in cash the day of the move. I was not anticipating paying almost $400 in cash and found it unethical for them to ask for a cash payment when that was never discussed on the phone. I am a professional Analyst and all I want to say is Boyo Movers is totally a SCAM! 1) The good reviews that I found on the Internet here is very suspicious. Currently it is showing 21 good reviews and 4 bad reviews. All the good ones are the most positive (Highly recommended) while the bad one are the most negative (Not recommended). Usually we would not think too much but just simple use the figure and think that most of the time they are good but only missing some of them. But if you think statistically, this is a big problem since the standard deviation based on this sample is too huge (only most negative and most positive). Thinking about people having a negative and frustration situation will have more motivation to write a bad review than a good experience. 2) I have bad and horrible experience with this company on my moving. My friend referred me to this moving company and they were great. i am so happy she turned me on to them , they helped me pack.. What a load of my shoulders! These guys were great from begining to end. I highly recommend these movers. Thanks again!

We had Boyo Movers move us last week & we were absolutely thrilled with their professionalism.This was the second time we have moved in the last 8 mths. First time to get out of our place while under renovations & second to move back. Unfortunately we didn't use Boyo the first time as we went with one of the bigger companies. Not mentioning any names but the larger company couldn't hold a candle to the guys at BoyoMovers. These guys were nice, hard working & they all had a great attitude. My family & I appreciate their efforts in delivering our items & highly recommend these guys. Also Boyo did the move in less time than the first company so we saved $$. Overall 5 stars - John

Boyo was wonderful! Regi, the Haitian Sensation!! Stephane, and their international team of friendly and swift workers packed up a 4-room apartment one day, and moved it the next. Everything arrived in perfect order. I could not recommend this team more highly as the guys who will smoothly get you through the nightmare of moving!

Our company move was exceptionally good. I required a partial move of my law practice and one assistant from our working Austin office to Houston. Boyo gave a prompt bid, the best bid, and delivered EVERYTHING that was promised. The team showed up, packed our files and furniture, neatly, carefully, promptly, efficiently, and without disturbing the rest of our office, delivered to our new site, and reassembled the furniture -- all on-time or faster than estimated. And the final bill was for EXACTLY the amount of the guaranteed estimate. I happily recommend Boyo Movers Moving and Boxes.

After my move on the 4th of july, i had to leave my high praises here for your review. First, i shceduled my move a day before on july 4th. These guys showed and moved my stuff in the dead of all the holiday festivities. They were really friendly, and gave me peace of mind about my last minute moving deciscion. i apologized profusely for calling them away from there familes on the 4th.. I felt terrible, but the manager was very professional. I would definatly highly reccommend these guys.

They showed up 5 hours late, and then claimed to have no paperwork. When he finally showed up, he demanded extra money to move my piano, after I had explicitly asked about this over the phone when I booked the move and was told there was no extra charge for it. Then the mover demanded cash only. I told him I didn't have enough, and he said I should pay what I can by cash the rest by check. Not trusting him, I wrote up my own hand-written receipt (detailing the unauthorized extra fee), which he signed, and I payed the whole amount by check to have written proof of the cost of the move, and so he would have to declare every dollar. During the move, the guy kept stalling during the loading of the truck, trying to make conversation with us instead of working, making the move take longer and cost more. On the way to the destination, he said he was going to stop for a break, and when I asked how long it would take because it was time on my tab, his response was, "That's not my problem." ... I had a great experience. First off, I hate moving and was giving the guys a hard time. I felt bad after I realized these guys only wanted to help. They showed up and got right to work, shrink wrapping my stuff. Of course4 i wanted to know what they were doing and the onsite manager explained step by step what was going on and assured me that i could relax. Which i did, and my move went smooth. I had to leave this review because its rare to experience such customer service. Thanks guys! Please people call boyo movers!

Same to the previous review, I have gone through a bad experience with Boyo Movers who is very unprofessional. These guys was trying to increase the price on the spot and provide an extremely slow service. I asked one of my neighbor who happened to use another moving company before; with a further distance and a bigger house than mine, he paid less than half of the cost that I paid to these unprofessional movers. NOT RECOMMENDED TO ANYONE!

very professional and on time. all our items were well shrink wrapped, nothing got damaged and they were very efficient. i would highly recommend them.

having experienced bad movers in the past i can say that boyo movers dd a really good job. we used them from packing to moving and they even sent us a cleaner to clean our 2 bedroom apartment. All boxes were provided at cost. when the uys go there everything was moved in a timely fashion, while the movers took the time to shrink wrap and blanket all my items. these guys are great. i would recommend them

It has been a very long time since I've had a pleasant and successful moving experience. Boyo Movers helped me recapture my confidence in delivery/moving services. I told these guys i would drop a line here for them since they provided me such a great move. first off my move was not easy, we were moving from a 4300 square foot house. and some of our items were going to the storage and some to our new house. since my wife and i are working all the time and closing on the new house, this move was about to become a nightmare. until i called boyo movers. they happen to offer everything from packing to moving your stuff and cleaning. the 3 person packing crew came a day before the move. they brought all the boxes and packing material that was needed. everything was packed and labeled very well. the next day the moving crew came and shrink wrapped and blanketed everything. i mean everything. the move was done very smoothly. they had to uninstall 4 of our besd and all of our appliances at no extra charge. First i want to say that these guys are really good, i mean they handled our move from A to Z. From a free estimate to cleaning our old place after they moved us. We hired them for both packing and moving services. They sent their moving crew in the morning (they came exactly on time). The ladies that handle the packing did a really good job. We were impressed on the fact that they brought all the supplies that was needed. And all the supplies was sold to us pretty much at cost. Considering that we are a busy couple, having them buy and bring us all the supplies was a priceless help. The packers were efficient: in 4 hours they were done packing and labeling everything in our 2000 square foot townhome. Then the movers came. Boyo handled my move and I am so glad they did! I had a lot of heavy items and was worried about outsourcing them, but they showed up on time ready to get the job done. The staff was professional, courteous and they offered great rates!! They moved each item with care, which was very important to me. All of my items arrived at my new home just as they left. Ive had bad very bad experience with movers in the past. So this time these guys were referred to me by my girlfriend. I was really impressed with their service. They were on time and nothing got scratched. Regi was very corteous he disassembled and reassembled my bed at no extra charge. i would use these guys again no doubt.

I had a last minute move last Saturday, I called around and all the movers were very expensive. I called these guys and they were there. Quick & friendly. Communicated well as to when they were arriving. Availability during the evening hours make them much better than companies like 2 Men & a Truck. I would higly recommend them

i have a lot of heavy antiques and glass in my house. i was really concerned about moving them as these items were fragile and heavy. however boyo movers was highly referred to us by a real estate company in the Galeria. although they specialize in apartment moves i was delighted with them moving my household furniture. i have to agree with the previous reviewer you have to book them ahead of time if you are moving on the weekend. as they are open 24/7 you might be stuck with a midnight move. but these guys are real pro. thumbs up guys!!

This company is great. The fact that the movers are the owners of the company made this move so smooth. The price is right and they are a charm to work with. The only thing about Boyo Movers is, if you are moving on a weekend call ahead of time as they seem to get booked really fast. The price i was quoted stayed the same although there was more distance to walk at my new location due to construction. As it rained over the weekend they could have cancelled the move. They called and asked if it was ok for them to move me. I agreed. They shrunk wrapped all my items. I was really impressed with their professionalism and promptness. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Boyo showed up on time and worked quickly, but that is were the positive comments end. They crammed all of my things into 1/2 of the truck, despite having plenty of room. Although they were being paid hourly, they kept rushing us, insisting that taping drawers and boxes shut, putting cardboard and blankets on the floor, and covering my mattress was unnecessary.The huge, neon FRAGILE stickers plastered all over certain boxes were totally ignored. When they finished loading the truck, I was assured that everything was wedged in well and secured and my bungee cords/ ropes were not needed. Yet on arrival at the ABF terminal everything had fallen, some things were broken, and the boxes that "didn't need tape" had spilled all over the truck, because I drove too fast (45 MPH on 610?). I wanted to use only 1 Relo-cube, but when it became obvious that I would require 2, they didn't even rearrange my precariously stacked boxes to spread them evenly & more securely among the 2 containers. I used these movers recently to move me from Dallas to Houston. They quoted me a flat rate that was very reasonable. Although they were coming from houston, they were on time and communicated very well during the entire process. None of my items were broken and they were extra curteous. I have not used many movers in the past but had heard a lot of bad stories. This experience was very good. They even provided wardrobe boxes and tape free of charge. I would definately recommend them to friends and family.

I have moved many times and always hired large moving companies. However this time I really did not want to pay an arm and a leg for my local move, so I called around and found that Boyo Movers had the best deal in town. I was really impressed with their service. They delivered my boxes to my house free of charge. On the day of the move they were n time. Very professional. I Would definitively recommend them to all my friends.

I had recently changed jobs and unlike my previous moves I wanted to actually hire a moving company So after being recommended to use BOYO movers I called and spoke to the owner/manager? Stephan. We agreed on date, price, etc I called him a few days before the move and confirmed our agreement .That Saturday,Memorial weekend I recieved a call from one of the agents of the company who said he'de be a little early . So I packed the last of our apartment and waited. An hour later this man called and said he was on his way. An hour later he called and said his truck had died and he would call back .
