Found this place on resturants dot com and bought a $50 coupon for $8, prices are what you would expect from a downtown restaurant.. I had the Filet Mignon, my wife had the NY Strip, I love a good steak, and this was a great one, it was complemented with lobster mash potatoes, I caught my wifes eye as she sat staring at me, she told me I had been moaning after every bite and that she was getting jealous. I have read review where people dis the place for being dark and expensive, I think the meal was well worth the $107 I invested which included 2 appetizers, fine steak dinners, drinks and excellent deserts, my wife was moaning over the Crème brûlée, what stick out to us the most was how large the portions were, probably close to twice the size we expected, my wifes NY Strip was at least 16-18 oz and my Filet was the largest I have ever gotten downtown Atlanta. I am a big guy who likes to eat, andI left stuffed... with 3 togo containers left over... good job guys

My husband and I ate here last night and we will now compare it to Applebee's or Olive Garden with jacked up prices! The appetizer was okay, but our meals were covered in grease, cream and tons of cheese as if to cover up the nastiness beneath, and the chicken was really dry. We ordered dessert in hopes that it would make up for our gross meals. We ordered the chocolate molten cake (usually warm and gooey in the center) and coffee. The cake was cold and uncooked in the center and our coffee was only lukewarm! Then we got our check and couldn't believe our total was $65!!!! We both said we would have been better satisfied at McDonald's drive thru.

My first visit to the restaurant was as part of a group of twenty-six teenagers going out for the prom dinner, not exactly the dream clientele. The second we were seated some kids complained about the location of our seating, and the waiter, whom I would have understood perfectly had he displayed any displeasure, smiled, spoke to a manager, rearranged, and with jokes and wonderful suggestions, reseated us. I read the reviews before attending, and my experience that night, and a couple of other nights, never, even slightly, dropped below four stars. The hostesses do wear skimpy clothing, just as at the Geisha House, that is a fact.

I took my friends there for the first time and which now will be my last time. I have eaten there a few times before and it was decent. I did however come on Monday nights when they have 50% off of food. That is the only time that overpriced place is worth it. This time, however, was exceptionally unpleasant!!!! I have received an email telling me that the restaurant will be closing and all the food will be 50% until the day that they close. Due to that email I urged a couple of my friends to go with me there and have a decent meal. We got there and as one of the pervious reviewers has pointed out, the greeting staff was dressed not appropriately for an establishment of these sorts. We were seated right away and our server was nice enough. He did recommend a NY strip to my boyfriend and said that it was similar to the fillet minion just a larger portion. Well it was not at all!!! The server was courteous enough to change the order back to the original fillet minion, but by now we all h... Read more

I booked a reservation here based on some friends recommendations. My wife and I were seeing Kooza and wanted a nice dinner before. I will say I was very disappointed in the dinner. To start, when you walk in you are greeted by two teenage girls wearing next to nothing. My thought was that I will have to remember to check out where my daughter works because there is no way she will ever wear that little. We were seated quickly. Then we noticed the female servers wore tank tops with their bra straps showing. For a moment I thought we'd walked into the chicken wing place where the girls orange shorts. The atmosphere: Dark and loud. The music was cranked up which made it difficult to have a conversation. It was very dark and hard to tell what you were exactly eating. The food: The bread was good. But I would have expected the salami to be of at least Boar's Head quality, not Oscar Myer. My wife had egg plant Parmesan. One piece of egg plant on a pile of over cooked pasta. ... Read more

This was our first time, so I want to be clear that we arrived at 6pm on a Saturday night to a 1/4 full restaurant. So with that in mind, service was well timed and very polite. I was a little nervous over the lack of clientele at that time and had seen some of the previous poor reviews, but soon realized we were in for a treat. Our waiter was well informed without sounding scripted and made some great suggestions. The Blue Moon Margarita should not be missed. And the Burrata was yummy. Could have had a few more pieces of bread with it. We found the wine that we desired for the meal and it did not seem over priced. Portion sizes were good for the Lobster Ravioli and the Pork Tenderloin leaving us room to share the cheesecake dessert. Loved it!!! Our waiter timed his service and checks perfectly and laughed with us over the 80's music selections as we tried to guess who might be next on the list. We were entertained and well fed. It is worth a try at least as an option durin... Read more

I made reservations on Saturday night for 2 people. We were seated right away. It did take quite some time to get our waitress originally, but once she greated us we had good service. We both had salads and entrees as well as drinks. All of the food was better than average. Arugula salad was great and both the chicken parm and linguine with clams was excellent. Lighting was very low but it was romantic. I would recommend this place for a date or an evening of dinner and people watching. Menu is a littel pricey but nothing abnormal for Atlanta with great food and atmosphere.

Like many of the other reviewers, I found this restaurant to be highly overpriced and overrated. I was taken there for my birthday and really regret it. While the ambiance and decorations are great, cool bathrooms don't make up for what the place lacked. Drinks were overpriced, but that's not surprising in Atlanta. The food was awful; they seemed to mess up the simplest items! My sister ordered the calamari and asked it not be spicy, unfortunately the dish was very spicy when it showed up almost 45 minutes later. My parents had the pasta and were not impressed, they said FIGO tasted better. I got a strip steak and was shocked- when I pay $30 for a piece of steak I expect it to be a good cut and not overcooked to the point of dryness. As another reviewer commented, we had 2 servers which made things extremely confusing. It seems we never got what we needed for the table (silverware, napkins, etc). They tried to make the experience better by giving me a free dessert, but I don't think I ... Read more

Monday nights are half off (except for drinks). So go crazy with the menu! Try everything if your stomach allows it. I loved the clam linguine and my soup. I don't think it's too much Italian, but it does give off an American kick to it all. Dark and cool, the music is good and the atmosphere is nice and relaxing.

while the reviews below are mixed, everyone that visits dolce can agree that the decor and atmosphere are incredible. often when i go to places for special occassions, i'm slightly underwhelmed by the less than impressive atmosphere. atlanta's restaurants are majorly lacking in the decor wow factor. BUT, dolce attempts to fill in the gap with a mainroom that is really there to impress. the food doesn't fall short either. i'd really suggest the grilled watermelon...sounds wierd, but when i had it, i was shocked i had never heard of it before. it tasted like it had been in a marinade and was absolutely perfectly sweet! dolce is also one of the rare non-seafood focused restaurants that has more than one (delicious) fish option. i'd go with the salmon because the method changes constantly, and i've yet to order it when it hasn't been cooked to perfection and seasoned wonderfully. GO!

I came into Dolce (my 5th(?) time) with my husband and four friends last Tuesday night and was delighted to see not only a brand new menu but also a very snazzy looking gentleman crooning Sinatra tunes from the VIP area overlooking the main floor! Apparently, this is a regular Tuesday event called "Sinatra Night", which, on top of the 50% off deal they have going on Mondays, makes us want to come waaay more often. I have to say, I'm shocked at some of the more negative reviews because I've NEVER had a bad experience. My service is always friendly and efficient (thank you, Keith and Liz!!), the food is amazing every time and the ambiance is to-die-for. I tried the new grilled watermelon appetizer with panzanella salad and saffron dressing, and had the crispy crab and ricotta gnocchi for my entree. Both were beautifully presented and extremely tasty. We already have reservations for this evening. Can't wait!

i was very surprised by dolce. From the outside, it looks like a restaurant that seems pretentious BUT the experience was far from it. I had a fantastic time there! i went with 5 of my friends (wait wasn't bad at all) and we all had delicious food and the service was fabulous. It was our first time there so we asked the waiter what he would rec. the waiter reccommended entrees as well as the wine to pair with it. A lot of high end restaurants in atlanta are expensive with very little food. dolce's price was worth the food portion they serve. the two guys i went with were very satisfied with the food amount, and these are college guys i am talking about. i saw a previous review stating that the lobster ravioli wasn't good. However my friend ordered it and she loved it and had portions to take home. overall, i would say this is a good restaurant to hang out with friends. its a relaxing and fun atmosphere.

This was my first time to visit Dolce and I brought a long 3 friends so we could try out the 50% dinner promotion on Monday. We started off with the antipasto and bread which were both very good. My boyfriend ordered the strip steak. I ordered the scallops originally. I had stressed to the server that I was extremely allergic to tree nuts and to please not include the pine nuts in the arugula salad. Instead my salad comes out covered in walnuts. To add to the chaos we had two servers, each who had no clue what was going on. I told them to just get me the lobster pappardelle instead. So upon waiting almost 20 mins for my food while everyone else was eating, I was beginning to be a little irritated. The pasta was nothing special, mixed in a watered down tomato/cream sauce, bland and had little lobster meat. We decided to all order dessert (the lava cake and gelato). I again, stressed I was extremely allergic to nuts and to please not put them on the dessert. The cake came out... Read more

My husband and I dined at Dolce on a Friday night, when just about every other restaurant in Atlantic Station appeared to be overflowing with customers. Strangely, there was no wait at Dolce. We were seated immediately and very impressed with the ambiance and look of the restaurant. It is terribly chic; however, it is also terribly overpriced for what you get. There were perhaps 6 other tables of customers. It was eerily quiet inside. Right away, I realized what the issue was when I looked at the drink menu. $12 for cocktails and $15 for a glass of wine is what is killing this restaurant. This ain't LA folks; people in Atlanta will not pay that much for drinks. The meals were largely unmemorable; my lobster ravioli at first glance seemed to be chocked full of lobster. Upon closer inspection, I realized that most of what looked like lobster was in fact red bell pepper. My husband enjoyed his mushroom ravioli, but for $16 per plate, it was overpriced and under-flavored. Our s... Read more

I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. The atmosphere was beautiful but the service was horrible and so was the food. Upon arrival, our server promptly greeted us and went on and on about how great the chef was and how lamb was one of his specialties. She described the lamb dish so eloquently that I decided that I just had to try it. We began enjoying our appetizers and thhe ambience and 15 minutes later, when we should have been receiving our food, our server returns to tell us that the lamb was extremely popular that night and that they were out of it. I had several problems with this: why advertise something before making sure that it is actually available, and why was it a full 15 minutes before she returned to let me know that they did not have it. People who had arrived after us were receiving their entrees and I was looking at a menu again. I was so distraught over not receiving what I wanted that I don't think I even gave my food much of a chance, but my siste... Read more

This is Ashton Kutcher's restaurant so I thought that he may have come running out sometime during our meal to say that we've been Punk'd. Unfortunately, this was not a joke. I went with a large group (8 of us) for a friend's birthday. Both service and food were subpar. The food was way overcooked or cold. I ordered gnocci which had obviously been frozen and then reheated since one of my gnoccis was ice cold. I guess they missed that one! Others who ordered meat complained that their order was not cooked as asked. Medium rare became medium and medium became medium well and so on. You'd think that with these prices that they'd get it right. The clencher was the end of the night when the server took an hour to process our check which she was unable to split. Our table split the check and wrote the amounts we owed on the back of the check along with the corresponding credit card number. This apparently was too complicated for our server and she managed to mix up all the cre... Read more

I love going to Dolce... Its so beautiful and i love the atmosphere... My boyfriend and I always have a wonderful bottle of wine and a romantic dinner. We had a party of 7 people. The fact they cannot spilt the check for us was hugely inconvenient. It took us forever to figure out how to split the bill ourselves because the tips are calculated base on full price instead of after the 50% off Monday discount. We ended up having the waitress sit down and split the bill by hand. The whole process took forever, not to mention the service was extremely slow to start with. Our dinner took about 4 hours and all of us were exhausted! We will not go back again. The mediocre food does not justify the bad service and horrifying experience with the bill overall.

I haven't read such a large group of fake reviews for any serious restarant in Atlanta before. I've been dining out 3-4 days a week for a number of years now and was quite disappointed with my visit last week. I used to like coming here, but the food & service has changed. We were brought our dinners before our appetizers, i guess that explained the long wait. It wasn't all bad though, we decided to go next door to Geisha House and had a great time, obviously the real restarant of the two.

There was a good crowd gathered at the bar and the restaurant was pretty full. I had an overall very pleasant dining experience and it was primarily due to the attentive and friendly staff. This was my first time dining at Dolce and I cannot wait to go back!!

7pm Friday @ Dolce equals an empty restaurant, a bartender w/ no knowledge of drinks beyond the basics, average food, average service and a lofty bill. For good Italian dining try Sotto Sotto or Alfredo's. Atlanta doesn't need these types of chains.

After receiving an email from The Dolce Group, I was surprised to see that they had a weekly promotion of "50% Off Your Food" every Monday night. Dolce is already one of my favorite restaurants in Atlanta so I took this opportunity to bring some of my co-workers to Dolce to experience it for the very first time. Everyone in our party loved their food. The most popular items were the Burratta Platter, which the server described as being made in house everyday. Based on the flavor and presentation, this item lived up to the expectation. Other favorite menu items from our group were the Filet Mignon, Sea Scallops, and Mushroom Ravioli. Our party had a blast at Dolce and our server even mentioned that they do a similar promotion at Geisha House every Sunday... so it looks like we'll be heading there soon.

Despite living in the midtown area of Atlanta and frequenting the movie theater in Atlantic Station, we had never been to Dolce Enoteca e Ristorante before. After hearing from some friends who dined at the brand new Dolce Enoteca e Ristorante that opened this weekend in the brand new Bridge Street Town Centre in Huntsville, AL, we thought we would try the Atlanta location for the first time. Our friends were amazed by the decor, raved about the food, and were impressed with the service... I can say we were equally after dining at Dolce Enoteca e Ristorante in Atlanta. We dined at the restaurant on Friday evening and were happy to see that there was Valet Service as an option when dining at Dolce Enoteca e Ristorante (or the other restaurants, Geisha House and Ten Pin Alley, operated by the same group) on Friday and Saturday evenings. Valet Parking is a welcome addition to the Atlantic Station development... as the parking deck is very confusing to navigate. Upon being seated at our t... Read more

HORRIBLE! There was a DIGIT from a RUBBER GLOVE in my food. I actually chewed on it! The manager was very unapologetic. As if it were not a big deal, an everyday occurance even. He was so young and inexperienced he didn't know what the hell to do anyway. The waitstaff and managerial staff acted as if I ruined thier night instead of it being the other way around. The owners don't give a damn either. I emailed them and they did not even bother to respond. DO NOT GO TO DOLCE. UNPLEASANT AND POTENTIALLY DANGEROUS!

I tried out this restaurant from reading the reviews on this site, and I was grossly embaressed at choosing this restaurant for my group of four. The kitchen took over 3.5 hours to serve us our meal from dinner to dessert. In fact, we had to ask for our desserts to go so we could just get out of the restaurant. The argula salad was the saltiest salad I have ever tasted. I sampled the caesar salad which had the worst choice of a dressing. I ordered the filet mignon which was served over a lobster mashed potato. In theory, I'm sure they thought this was being decadent but it was awful. Take that fishy tasting lobster out of the mashed potatos. For the price of the steak $45 - I could have gone to Bones, Rathbuns, or any other steak restaurant and been 100% happier and better served. My friend had the chicken parmigan which looked and tasted exactly like a microwaveable meal. Someone else at the table ordered the lobster paparadelle which they couldn't finish due to the fishy ta... Read more

I went with a group of girlfriends for my bachelorette party, and the decor is lovely! The service was very good, but the food was not worth the price. I had the salmon over a bed of handmade gnocchi. The salmon was well cooked, but the gnocchi tasted the same as the box-ready made-kind. Other than the disappointing gnocchi, everything else was good.

This was the worst dining experience I have had in Atlanta. I took my wife there to celebrate a job promotion and everything about it was terrible. Being our first time there; I had some questions when I made my reservation. The RUDE and IGNORANT girl that answered the phone finally made my reservation while answering NONE of my questions accurately. I'm guessing could have been the same rude person that greeted us at the door. It was complete chaos, which didn't seem justified as there was NO ONE in the restaurant!! Service was slow, rude, and incompitent. Prices were WAY too high considering what we were served. No managers on the floor to speak of, unless the arrogant people in suits were supposed to be management?!?! We will NEVER be back!!!

We couldn't have made a better choice because the restaurant was amazing!!! The food was great. The staff was friendly. And the atmosphere and ambiance is incredible. This was our first experience at Dolce. I had heard so much I figured it was time. I made my reservations for 5 not knowing it was during restaurant week. Although we had reservations on a Tuesday night we still waited about 15 minutes. We were seated in the "loft area" of the dining room. Bring your flashlight-it was so dark in this room we pulled several candels from other tables just to be able to read the menu. I noticed other diners in the area doing the same. I can see very well and never had a problem with dim restaurants before but this was DARK. I guess the black table tops, black chairs and maybe even the carpet didn't help with the lighting. EVEN THE TOILET PAPER IS BLACK!!! It was hard to adjust to. After sitting for about 10 minutes our server took our drink order and we waited another 10 minutes for her to tell us they were out of sparkling water becasue the shipment had not come in because it had been so busy. It was my wife's and my 10th anniversary and I wanted to take her to a very nice restaurant. We have three kids that keep her very busy throughout the day, so it was imperative that I take her out of the house and show her a great time. Many of my business partners have been to Dolce and are constantly raving about their experience. In addition, my wife had been hinting towards wanting to eat at Dolce for a couple of months so I figured this would be the ideal time to go. Our server was fantastic and she congratulated us on our success with happiness. The general manager even came to the table to see how everything was going with our dinner. Last night was my first experience at Dolce, and I was thoroughly disappointed. We arrived at the restaurant for dinner, and upon entering the restaurant noticed that there was no one at the host station. We waited at least five minutes for someone to assist us. Our waiter seemed nice, but seemed a little "off". He took our appetizer order and then came back and told us about the appetizer and entree specials. It took unusually long, roughly thirty-five to forty minutes, for our entrees to arrive. The food runner brought out our entrees, and appallingly our waiter did not even come back to ask us about our food or to inquire whether we needed anything else. We ordered a dessert and that took twenty-five minutes. During this time our waiter was nowhere to be found. Even the couple at the table next to us was joking about how slow the service was. I was so fed up at this point and located the general manager. The GM apologized and spoke to our waiter, but the GM never... Read more

The food was just unbelievable; I ordered tuna Tartar and Lambs in a Blanket!!! Our waiter was very good and friendly. The wine person helped us select a bottle of wine for the table. Even thought the restaurant was very busy, the service was very attentive. One of the managers stopped by our table to make sure we were doing ok. Actually we were all pleasantly surprised how well we got taken care of in a busy night. After our dinner we went bowling at Ten Pin Alley, which is right next door. We are considering having another birthday party there next month, in the wine room. Dolce was the best experience by far!!!

It was my turn to give a company presentation to several future business partners/clients that were coming into town, It was my sole responsibility to find a suitable venue that would leave a lasting impression with our clients. In addition, my boss informed me that a "job well done" could lead to a more significant and secure position in the company so I knew that I had to exceed his expectations. A co-worker highly recommended Dolce because of its versatility and great food. AS SOON AS I stepped into the venue, I was sold! On top of that, they actually have a private dining area that has a TV in it!! I was informed that a lot of companies occupy that room (which is called the Chef''s Table/ Wine Room) for presentations. I explained everything that I needed and the manager met all of my needs. The clients were blown away..and so was my boss. Their satisfaction gave me such confidence, which really shined through my presentation. Needless to say, we gained the clients, and now I gain m... I must take time out to recommend this incredible establishment. Last week I planned to propose to my girlfriend; however, her parents are very traditional and it would be considered disrespectful if I had not asked for their permission before hand. When I made the reservation I informed the receptionist about the special occasion and she said that she would "take care of it." The moment we stepped into the restaurant we were treated like VIPs. The hostess sat us at the perfect table. We had our privacy yet we were still able tp enjoy the vibrant atmosphere. Every question we had was answered and every substitution that my future parent-in-laws requested was granted. The manager came over and directly addressed me as though we had already known eachother. He knew how important this night was and he wanted to make the in-laws feel as though I was the perfect man for their daughter. They were so impressed by my sense of importance and power that THEY asked ME when was I going to pop the... Read more

A couple of weeks ago my boyfriend and I celebrated our 5 year anniversary. After discussing dining at a couple of area restaurants we settled on Dinner at our favorite, Dolce. We were sat at palatial booth both by a lovely and very accommodating Hostess. Our Server, an enthusiastic and well informed young lady who was as beautiful as she was well spoken, offered us some great Signature cocktails. The Pear Martini is a dream. Our food was equally as impressive as the posh decor. I had the Veal Saltimbocca and my boy friend the Scallops Both were amazing. The Capriccio of beef we enjoyed as our appetizer was, melt in your mouth, tender and full of flavor. At the end of our dinner we were offered a complementary shot that we enjoyed with our server as well as the floor manager that had visited our table a couple of time ensuring our satisfaction with our meal. In the past few mouths my boyfriend and I have dinned at Dolce many times and have yet to be disappointed. They pr... Read more

The Dolce Sangre cocktail is fantastic... Well balanced and full of flavor. However, the risotto was sour and rice was crunchy - not creamy. It was not edible. And, it was not good to look at. On the menu, it's billed as the "Garden Risotto". It was a beige-grey blob. How can sun-dried tomatoes go from red to beige? Go here for the drinks - go somewhere else for the food...

I was in the bathroom and saw a guy pissing all over the bathroom sink and mirror. He was cursing at another guy outside before he entered which later I found was the manager. I will never go back to this place. Anyway the food was no good and the service too.
