Sandy is the product of one of the worst public educational systems in the U.S.. Ignorant, racist, and stupid is no way to live your life. If you would have excercised your brain when you were younger you wouldnt be selling your crappy jewelry to buy food for your hyperactive son. Read, introduce yourself to other races, get on the internet, but by all means dont be just another pea-brained Kamaaina.

I went here to purchase a specific item as a gift. I received no greetings from the receptionist and was ignored for about 10 min. I was finally able to inquire if they carried the item I was looking for. The salesgirl went to ask and was apparently told to have me wait for Elizabeth. The wait was longer than expected and my kids got bored. The staff kept glaring at us every time my kids made noise. After a while, I asked again if they carried the item and was told to wait my turn. I asked a third time since it was a simple "yes" or "no" question and there was no point in us continuing to wait if they didn't carry it. Elizabeth became very rude and demeaning. When it finally got to our turn, she was extremely arrogant and condescending. She didn't listen to what I was asking and never showed me the items. She made it apparent to everyone in the store that I didn't have enough money to purchase what she had. It was very unprofessional and a horrible experience. I will be making m... Read more

So, I have to disagree with everything Knakasone says... im pretty sure that person is associated with the company. I literally bought a ring at a major retailer for a pretty decent price. Not only that, but every website I could find priced the ring at the same price. Over 500 bucks... I went to this place literally 5 minutes after I picked it up, and asked how much it was worth... 55 bucks they said. Don't waste your time with this place. Yeah, they probably have decent priced jewelry for buyers... but just think of the people they screwed just to get the price that low!

We went to the new location in Pearl City and were very pleased with the wonderful service and the experts there. I was helped by a girl named Elizabeth and she answered all my questions very kindly and offered me advise. I was pleased with the amount she paid me because I didn't think my "junk" was worth even half the amount I got! Then I went to look around at the showroom and there were three people there to help me and they were all very friendly and very helpful. The "mom" helped me pick out an amazing set for my daughter and we talked for a while about our families. They may be white but they were born and raised here in Hawaii so they are real Kama'aina. I would deffinately go back for all my gift needs and just to hang around with great people! I would give 10 stars if I could.

The service and pricing of these peoples jewelry is horrible. I visited them and wanted to sell a piece of jewelry and got a ridiculously low quote. The son and wife of the owner are extremely rude and never smiled or were helpful at all. As with the other reviewer, they kept me waiting and were very condisending to me, like I was doing them a favor. What low class people. I would hope you would never go to this place. AND, to top it all off I left without selling my gold piece and took it too a local pawn shop where I got substantialy MORE money. Just goes to show you what rudness gets you...Nothing!!

I wanted to sell some of my unused jewerly for cash so I thought of Kamaaina Metals. The buyer was already helping someone. I brought my son along not realizing there would be a wait. My son got antsy, so I ask if I could wait outside. We did. A couple of Japanese customers arrived after us. The receptionist (CASANOVA) signal us to come back in. We were about to be help by the buyer when the manager Elizabeth very rudely told us it wasn't our turn. Having waited over half an hour I decide to leave and never do business with Kamaaina Metal. It should be called Haole Metals since all employees and owner are Haole. Unless you look rich and Japanese I won't go there.
