Being part of West Gate has been a great blessing for my 4 kids. Academics are excellent. Our kids excel in every subject. We feel that they are getting well prepared for college. The spiritual teaching is outstanding. Their discipline and doctrine has helped keep our kids grounded in the truth of the Word of God. Bringing them to West Gate has been one of our best decisions.

It's in a great central location. They are getting a great education along with good morals and values to carry them through life. It's a very loving and encouraging enviorment, my family loves Westgate.

My daughter has gone here for 2 years. First school she has attended where she immediately felt comfortable going, all the teachers know her by her name and she is reading and writing at 5 yrs old! Real focus on learning. You will not find a better education and you can't beat the price anywhere in Tampa.

My children have attended Westgate for 13 years,.I thank God everyday for this school that has helped us raise our 3 children through their caring, support and christian values. The education is the best ,my 6 year old reads classic novels! You will be better off in a public school education if you do not want structure, rules, caring support, and an education that is superior.. I find the parents who complain are rulebenders and rebellious in their own ways, therefor passing this to their children I have been volunteering at WGCS for 9 years, I am part of a committee who work hard for the needs of the school and children.Parents are expected to abide to the guidelines for volunteering, which means you have to be fingerprinted and have a backround check. This is for the safety of the children and should not be forfeited in any way. Westgate gets my full support they do a wonderful job , better than some parents can do with their own child.

We sent our kids there for a very short time, a week! The "security" door was always open, they had babies and big kids mixed, limited supervision, not enough teachers and my child was urine soiled when I picked them up. If you think the price is good, I guess you get what you pay for! I would pay triple the cost to know my babies are take care of.

My child has atteneded WGBS for 7 years. I can not imagine sending her anywhere else. We are a christian based school, if that is not what you want for your child then try a public school and see how you like that! There is as much parent participation as you want. I have been involved with their PAC meetings, I volunteer as much as I can. Mr. and Mrs. Shaw are wonderful christian people and are willing to work with you in any way possible. My child has excelled in school and her christian life. I thank GOD for this school everyday.

Beware of this school! DO NOT... I repeat DO NOT enroll your child in this school. The school administration is a joke. Go against the grain and question anything and your child will pay. The principal Charles Shaw is an example of how a Christian should not act. Very sarcastic and rude and seems to run the school like a dictatorship. It was obvious how his own administrative staff was frightened by his very presence. Parent participation is never encouraged. Think twice before you consider this school. Remember you are not in that classroom. This school brain washes children to believe if they misbehave they will go to Hell. Please I am warning you about this school STAY CLEAR!!!
