Our sales person was rather disorganized...forgot to write things down and showed up occasionally without calling before work started. However, he was quite experienced, very personable, and totally honest. Satellite imagery was used to get a highly accurate estimate of roof dimensions. About a week before the roof was replaced, a crew came out to repair all the rotted trim work. They cleaned up a small board so I could get a proper color match when obtaining the paint I had previously agreed to supply. A lot of the original trim was wood, which was replaced with Hardy board now that the manufacturer makes material of the required dimensions. GAF Timberline HD shingles and other roofing materials were delivered on time and positioned where requested. The driver took several photographs documenting the delivery. I later moved some of the loose items into the garage for safe keeping and when the crew arrived I received a call from the office asking about the "missing" materials. ... Read more

I have been very pleased with the quality of the workmen and management at Brinkmann Roofing. They went above and beyond what was called for in the contract from the first meeting, through contract negotiations, and installation of the new roof and gutter. The quality of the materials was excellent, the workman were on-site on time, and the work was completed in a timely and efficient manner. The work ethic of the crew, supervision, and management was above reproach. My questions were dealt with in a timely and fair manner. Clean up after the job was complete and to my satisfaction. I would not hesitate to recommend this company to anyone at any time. Phil Owens

I recently had a full roof replacement with Brinkmann Roofing. And I couldnt have been any happier. The Customer Service, Sales Staff, and Roofers were extremely helpful and went out of their way to make this a painless experience for myself and my family. If you are wanting a dependable company with execellant customer relations then this is the one for you. They may be be the cheapest roofing company out there. But you defeintly pay for what you get. Kuddos to All Brinkmann Staff!!!!!

We had our roof replaced by Brinkman 3 weeks ago after was damaged by a hail storm. We feel that the job was not done right because the shingles do not line up properly and there is noticeable "sways" and "bumps" on the roof which should be perfectly straight line and smooth. Also, we find nails, staples and holes through sheetrocks on our ceiling. In addition to all that the crewmen had knocked the woods at the base of the chimney, underneath the roof around the house. The supervisor was not the site while the crewmen worked on our roof. He show up to collect the check. We brought to his attention about the damages at the woods and the way the roof looks. Not talking that we will have a leak and cause more damage to our house. We were shocked and disappointed when he told us that accident happened and left instead offers help to fix the damage. We were waiting for their response and a week later we recieved a bill in the mail along with the threat that if we pay late they wou... Read more

If I had it to do over again, I would not select Brinkmann. Hindsight is always 20/20. The Brinkmann sales consultant was the only one to actually get on the roof and measure for complete tear-off and repair due to Ike damage. Others only looked at insurance quote. Unfortunately Brinkmann went downhill from there. Brinkmann crew was from out of state. Crew was unsupervised so sales consultant items were often omitted, ignored or had to be redone. eg omitted ridge vents so had to rework those areas. Roof continues to leak on several occaisions and Brinkmann now refuses to repair interior sheetrock, paint, etc. and are making excuses. Often they miss scheduled appointments. Customer service is poor at returning phone calls or communicating status. They talk the talk but don't walk the walk If I had it to do over again I would not choose them. I've feed this info back to my insurer.

Horrible to deal with! very poor customer service, They have a good product however their billing is awful! They are rude and don;t care about customers. Filed complaint with Texas Attorney General due to their poor billing and strong arm collection techniques!

I had a contract with this company to fix my roof leak Decm 2006. The contract coast was 1055$ and included one year warranty. The leak was never fixed and I continue to have the same leak from the same spot for more than a year after multiple fixes. In September 2008 the best roofer they had the master fixer as they call him found the source for the bedroom leak and he showed it to me in an area they never even got close to it before. He, himself told me that if they sent him from the beginning I wouldn’t suffer and go though the pain that I went through. Luckily, I did not have leak since then. Now this company has the courage to ask for extra charges other than the initial charges (1055$), they are asking for 350$ extra because the roof was finally fixed after the warranty period is over. After suffering for a year and half of continuous roof leak and financial losses in the renovation I had for the wall (around 4000$) which got destroyed by the leak, they have the guts to ask for m... Brinkmann Roofing was responsive, quick and offer a killer warranty. I got a 30 year roof with at 10 year warranty for leakage. Most companies want to offer 2 years max. The price was right they will work with you. They may be a tad higher than some but quality of work is awesome. Be paitient while calling the work # because you have to remember millions of people calling everyday. ASK FOR KEITH OVERBY to give your estimate he is AWESOME!!!

My roof was damaged during Ike. I never got a response when I called Brinkmann Roofing. Several weeks later (after no other roofer showed up, either), Brinkmann called. It seems their office building lost power for two weeks after the hurricane and they had thousands of calls backlogged. My estimate turned out to be more than the insurance company allowed. The salesman from Brinkmann worked directly with my insurance company to get the roof paid for, it seems the insurance adjuster's calculations were incorrect. My roof was replaced within days, an inspector from Brinkmann also came by. He mentioned that Brinkmann Roofing had staff deployed from their other locations across the country to respond to the need for roofs caused by Ike. I have to say, Brinkmann Roofing took care of business, did a great job and was a great help to us...I'm not having such good luck with other contractors for the other damage to my home. It's been nothing but headaches and hassles, I'm grateful fo... Read more

I got my roof replaced by brinkmann roofing on early September. I find at least 3 places are leaking in the roof. I keep calling them since 09/14/. I am always be told that someone will contact with me. I never hear back from them.It is really an obvious diffenence when they did reroof a month ago,at that time every person in their companys seems friendly and nice. But after the poor work gets done, I can contact with nobody. I think I picked the right business man instead of right roofer. I don't know how they can keep their 10y warranty. It sounds like a joke.So don't consider them to be your roofer unless you want to like me who paid $$$$ to get a brand new leaked roof.

Since Hurricane IKE I have been trying to contact this company, you cannot even talk to a real person at Brinkmann, it's an answering service they just take a message I have left many messages over the last at least two weeks and no one calls back. If they cannot handle the phone calls I cannot imagine letting them handle my roof, sounds like they have too much business I could not even imagine what the roof would look like if they cannot even take a phone call or call back. Good Luck with this one. I finally went to another roof company.

While it took a while to get through to them due to their reputation and popularity, Brinkmann Roofing was the only roofing company to show any real knowledge and professionalism when giving me an estimate to repair my roof after the hurricane. Their bid wasnt the lowest but it had the best warranty and there is something to be said for a company that has been around forever. I know they will be there 10 years from now when I need them. They tarped my roof and gave me a written estimate on the spot. I checked them out and checked on their insurance and everything looked good. I will always be grateful for the repairman who helped me in a time of need.

Brinkmann Roofing has become synonamous with poor quality, knowledge and service. Since purchased by Peterson Dean Roofing out of California in 2007, Brinkmann Roofing has been converted to a corporate animal concerned only about producing numbers. They lack appropriate supervison and follow ups on projects ranging from the simple compostion shingle installations, balcony waterproofing, concrete tile installation, to metal roofing. They botch numerous projects everywhere. However, protest your dissatisfaction with them or think you can hold money on them and they will immediately place a lien or claim on your home or project. As Jason Brinkmann VP redundantly repeats himself "it's to protect our interest." I can only guess that if they have installed over 50,000 roofing systems, i can only imagine how many are done poorly. Brinkmann Roofing Company strives to uphold its motto, "When Quality Counts." If you want your roof done right the first time, call us today. Yeah right. Anyone can... Read more

I had an excellent experience with Brinkmann Roofing. We had several leaks in our roof. They came out the very next day and looked at our roof. They gave us a written estimate-which i compared to the two others I received. Their price was right in the middle and considering I had heard about them through several people and all had given me positive feedback I decided to use them. Our roof was put on within a week or so and a man came out to inspect it once it was done. I had no negative issues with them. I would recommend them to people looking to replace their roof. Their ads say they have been in business a long time and will be around when you need them. I also hear them endorsed by Mark Vandermeer on the radio. and by Randy Lemmon.

We had our roof replaced by Brinkmann several months ago (late 2007) and chose Brinkmann. We feel that the job was rushed because the shingles do not line up properly and there is a noticeable 'sway' in the shingle line which should be a perfectly straight line. Additionally, we had some fascia and other repair work done and the fascia on the front of our home is uneven. We expressed our dissatisfaction and were told that this was all 'normal' and wasn't considered a problem because the roof does not leak. This is true, but for nearly $4,000 we expected our roof to look much better than this. Several of our neighbors have had their roofs replaced by companies that charged less but we chose Brinkmann because we thought they were a reputable company. There is clearly a difference in the way the jobs were done and we wish we would have gone with someone else. We asked for the job to be redone properly or a discounted price but were told that they are ?unwilling to negotiate.? Be w... Read more
