Mark Davidson and Jorge Pineda of Santhoff Plumbing Company did a truly excellent job of supplying and installing a Noritz 6.3 Tankless Water Heater and a Toto Carolina Toilet for us on July 23, 2009. Several other plumbing companies had told us that a tankless water heater would not work in our home. Early this summer my hot water heater, inconveniently situated in my attic, died. I called 4 plumbers to get ideas and estimates as to what to do about replacing, and of the 4, only Mark at Santhoff Plumbing gave me a reasonable estimate and quick timeline to get a new heater installed. As it turned out, he is a really smart expert plumber who was able to re-route my hot water heater into the utility room. He did the work really fast and he apparently put in a good heater because recently during Hurricane Ike we didn't have power for days but we did have hot water for about 4 days. I'll call Santhoff again.

An estimator, Scott, came to our house at the scheduled time and gave us an estimate on everything except one item. He promised to call back with that cost so that we would know a total for the job. He never called back. I called the company to follow up and was told that they would pass the message to Scott. Nothing. We paid $25 for the estimate - guess it was worth it to know that they wouldn't provide customer service. We'll be looking elsewhere for another estimate. Sigh.

I am in the real estate business, therfore, I encounter multiple plumbing issues on a daily basis. I started using Santhoff over a year ago because the two other companies I was using at the time were lacking experince to assist me with one of my rental properties. I was referred by a friend, called them up, made an appointment and they were QUICK to help me out. The guys were very knowledgeable and I felt like he had a genuine interest in helping me understand what was going on and getting the issue resolved right the first time. I also found their prices to be very resonable for the knowledge they brought along with them. I will never call another company and would recommend them to anyone looking for a knowledgeable, on-time, HONEST, legitimate plumber

Santhoff has been a great plumber and I have been using them since 2002. I have recommended them to many people. This year was not a good year however. They did a hot water heater installation in my attic and put a overflow pan that was smaller than the heater, and they stepped through the ceiling. They did come back and put in a larger pan and sent someone out to do the ceiling repair. They placed the overflow pipe in the middle of the exterior wall which the homeowners association said was not ok. I was never told that they were going to place a pipe down the exterior wall. When I called and asked for them to move the pipe to align with the down gutter they were going to charge me $175 to make the change. So, now I am not sure if I will ever use them again or recommend them to friends. I feel that Santhoff should have explained the details of what they were going to do so that I could have avoided this issue.

This company is truly outstanding. They are really on top of things and communication is exceptional. They always seem to go the extra mile to please their customers. Not to mention they are always on time, if not early, the guys always look VERY clean and presentable and the girls in the office know what's going on too! I also appreciate the fact that I never have to worry about going behind them and cleaning up their mess, they are so clean. The rate are VERY fair and and they are open 24 hours a day. I even had to call them on Christmas day and everyone was so delightful to speak with. I will never use another plumber as long as they are here!

My mother and I have used Santhoff Plumbing on two occasions and could not have been more pleased with their work. Manuel was highly professional, friendly, took the time to explain what was taking place, and left the premises in the same condition as he found it. If there were a rating higher than "highly recommended," Santhoff Plumbing would get it. All our future business will be with Santhoff Plumbing and we thank the owner for his excellent work.
