I am the property owner involved in the work referenced under the title ‘NOT recommended!’. Plumbers are usually called when there is bad news to start with and folks are already upset. I have been using DNB Plumbing for at least fifteen years because they deliver the best overall value. With DNB not being a large corporation, you get best pricing, with the urgency of your job considered in how fast you get the service man to your job. For me, it has always been worth the wait in order to get the best value for a completed job well done. In the extreme heat of Summer 2009 and having workers fall to heat stroke, DNB Plumbing and I agreed that in order not to jeopardize the workers’ health, the heavy manual but technical workload could wait until workable temperatures returned. Plumbers, attic air conditioning technicians, construction workers and roofers all had to schedule their work around the extreme heat of Summer 2009. I recommend and stand behind DNB Plumbing 100% as th... Read more

I am always amazed at the comments you find on city search. I have used this company for 16 years and never had anything but prompt service and professional service. I know that you can't make everybody happy but I am a completely satisfied customer of 16 years. I had to use them during the freeze and again.. they came to my rescue and never even charged additional charges after hours.

The plumbers themselves are good and most of them polite, but doing business with this company is guaranteed to raise your bld pressure and add major stress to your life. If having a job start the week of June 22 which includes a trench dug through the yard and then having the workers disappear on June 24 and leave the trench surrounded by caution tape, calling repeatedly and getting excuses until they finally show up with no warning to finish on Sept 23 sounds good to you, give this company a call. They'll throw in rude attitude for no extra charge.

My home warranty company sent Dnb to my home also for a small leak under the bathroom sink. Dnb had to come 3 xs and made the leak worse the first two times. The 3rd time they shut off the water to my house and fixed the leak (turning several valves, we live on property with a well). The next day my water softner was not working! We tried the normal recharging to no avail We called again and the plumber came out and said the water softner was clogged when they (Dnb) turned the water back on from their job.(there was a bypass valve they should have used, but didn't) Our warranty company would not cover it, and Dnb said they would not do anything about it. Called the softner dealer who sent a technician who confirmed the softner had been damaged by the plumbers negligence, & lack of knowledge about my valves and water softner. IT COST US $374.00 Called Dnb to let them know and was told "we don't know anything about softners, we don't install softners, we don't touch softners". " All... Read more

DNB was sent to my home by my home warranty service. DNB installed two water heaters and used a defective part. Within a few months the part failed and caused water damage to my home. Despite David Nathaniel Bailey, owner of DNB Services, plumbers license #17999, stating that he "has continued to keep his customers satisfied" and has his business 'by word of mouth instead of advertising', DNB has an unsatisfactory rating with the prominent consumer reporting agencies. Although he states he has a 2 year warranty on parts and labor and he has insurance, he and DNB and office manager Valerie will not respond to my certified letter nor numerous phone calls to resolve and reimburse me for funds to repair the damage his business caused to my home (the damage was under $2000). If you compare my request for reimbursement against the business Bailey and DNB have lost and will continue to lose as the facts of my case are relayed to potential customers and the home warranty service, they... Good plumbers, but poor office management. I seriously recommend calling the competition.....there's plenty of it out there.

Take a look at their website. I find it funny that the webmaster mentions they fix it right on the first visit. That is a crock! This will be DnB's third time to visit my house to replace a hot water heater. Each time the plumber hasn't even touched my hot water heater. They take measurements and write down the model number. I have been without hot water for 3 weeks, thanks to Hurricane IKE. Do they care? Absolutely not. I've missed two days of work for these plumbers to come out to my house between the hours of 12pm-6pm (I love the time frame, 6 hrs? Thanks for the notice). AVOID THIS COMPANY LIKE THE PLAGUE!!! YOU'LL BE SORRY FOR SURE!!

I have called upon the services of this company a few times. The plumbers do an excellent job, however, the company itself is being conducted poorly. When the plumber shows up they either have the wrong parts or just doesn't have the needed part at all. And with an ex husband who was in the plumbing business, I know that isn't the plumber's fault. The only reason I keep using their services is because the plumber will go out of his way to make sure I am completely satisfied with the job they are doing. Maybe they should hire someone that actually has experience in running a plumbing business.

It's apparent by comments here, and my own experience, that home warranty callouts are handled negligently. The technician, Kyle, showed up late and with an attitude. He misdiagnosed the water heater problem saying that a coil on the bottom of the unit had to be replaced and that the unit had to be turned on its side and there was no room in the attic to do so and yada, yada, yada, they called the Warranty Company and refused to service it! The next day I called the water heater manufacturer myself, who diagnosed the problem and over the phone walked me through how to find and push the reset button. My husband did so without any problem. Voila, hot water! DNB techs don't know Jack!

I AM THE OWNER AND MANAGER OF DNB HOME SERVICES. I AM RESPONDING TO A NEGATIVE REVIEW BY ANTHONYALEMAN. I HAVE BEEN IN THE BUSINESS FOR 19 YEARS AND MAKE IT A PRACTICE TO INFORM ANY CALLER THAT USES THE PROFANITY THAT THIS PERSON DIRECTED TOWARDS ME THAT I WILL BE HANGING UP IF THEY CAN NOT CONTROL THEMSELVES ON THE PHONE AND ACT MATURE. WE WARRANTY ALL WATER HEATER PARTS FOR 2 YEARS AND THE MFG DOES THE SAME. HIS WATER HEATER WAS NOT UNDER WARRANTY ANYMORE FOR PARTS OR LABOR. WE WENT TO THE HOME AND DIAGNOSED THE WATER HEATER WITHOUT ANY CHARGE. UNFORTUNATELY, THE MFG HAS SINCE CHANGED THE DESIGN FOR THE HWH AND THE PARTS WERE NOT AVAILABLE ON THE SAME DAY. WHEN YOU READ GOOD REVIEWS AND THEN YOU READ REVIEWS LIKE THIS, IT IS CONFUSING TO OUR CUSTOMERS. OUR CUSTOMERS HAVE KNOWN US FOR 20 YEARS AND THE REASON WHY I DON'T HAVE TO SPEND A GREAT DEAL OF MONEY FOR ADVERTISING IS BECAUSE WORD OF MOUTH IS YOUR GREATEST AD. WE HAVE CONTINUED TO KEEP OUR CUSTOMERS SATISFACTION AS A PR... Read more

3 years after having my water heater replaced by DNB it went out, since the water heater was still under warranty by DNB I called them. It is now day 4 and I still do not have a water heater. Apparently they had replaced the old water heater with a new water heater that had been recalled by the manufacture and the only thing they could do was wait for the manufacture to send the replacement part before they could repair it. This was per the Manager Val who by the way was very rude and hung up the phone on me. I did not call back again because I did not want to lower myself to her level and decided that just to replace the water heater with another company which cost me $750.00. I would not recommend DNB Plumbing to anyone because if something goes wrong with the job they did, you might be out of luck. I wish I would have known that the water heater that they had installed was defective then I would have not pruchased one from them. I do not know about you but taking a shower in... Read more

Absolutely the best! They were sent by my home warranty company and I will certainly call them for any other plumbing needs. David (the plumber) was one of the most courteous and professional tradesmen I have ever encountered. Their office was communicative about arrival times - calling me and updating me on any delays. They were literally out within hours of getting the initial call that I needed a plumber. Congratulations on a GREAT company with GREAT employees.

They have not returned my calls when they were appointed the contractor to do some work on behalf of my Home Warranty company. I have had to call them 4 times today and each time I get a new excuse. I wish they would just tell me the truth about what is going on !!!

I've used DNB Plumbing several times for emergency plumbing needs. They have responded quickly and been on time for appointments. They were reasonably priced, stayed within estimates and I have been completely satisfied with the repairs. I'd recommend them to everyone.

I have had several pipe leaks and other plumbing problems over the last few years, and this company was honest and dependable. All repairs were completed to 100% satisfaction. Would highly recommend this company to anyone. Company also provides service to American Home Shield members. Repairs were almost always covered.
