I shudder when my brother-in-law is in town from Toronto because this is the beer that his wife's family loves. I've had to gag down a couple of these, with a lime wedge, whenever I see them just to be polite.

I don't mind Coronas at all...I order them sometimes when I hit the bars here in Tijuana but not always. In Baja it is seen as more of a tourist beer and the only folks you see ordering it are "surprise, surprise" tourists...LOL...and if you don't believe me just look around you next time you go to a bar or food joint south of the border. There are better beers out there like Bohemia or Cucapa and they didn't even get placed on here like they deserve. I guess the most popular best advertized beers will always win on these surveys :-( Anyway...Corona is not bad at all...'least for me...but there are MUCH better Mexican beers out there that deserve recognition...folks just need to find them. The beer Victoria is a good place to start if you like Coronas though. It's concidered a better version of Corona by some but has a little less alcohol. Hope that helps...enjoy.

Next to Miller High Life this is my favorite beer. Keeps a nice head and robust taste without giving me a headache. Great stuff!

Why do Mexicans hate us? If I had to choose between Sobriety and this horse piss, I would choose sobriety. With all the good high quality Beers in the world, anyone could do better than this swill?

One of the worst beers I've ever had. Sure I'll drink it if there isn't anything else, but it is so skunky that it becomes intolerable after a few drinks, I refuse to fruit a beer to make it taste better, and would rather drink Coors or Miller.

It's pretty good, but can spoil in the clear bottle. To be on the safe side, drink it out of the can.

Corona is an incredibly disgusting beer but an amazing example of how people are suckers for marketing. It tastes exactly like another crappy corn-based beer, like MGD for example, but sells for almost twice as much at times. People think it's cool how it's like Mexican and stuff and you can put a lime in it. How about drinking a real beer instead? If you want to go Mexican, Negra Modelo and anything from Cucapa is way better.

Been enjoying Corona and a lime but always hated it when the lime would fall into the beer and not stay in the neck. The bitter rinds over power the beer towards the end of the beer making me want to jug the last few sips. So I invented this cool product I call HookaLime. Flavoring beer with a lime just got a whole lot easier with HookaLime. Without HookaLime, the lime falls into the beer, causing uneven flavors, especially towards the end where you taste more bitter rind flavors than beer. With HookaLime, the lime is wedged in the neck of the bottle, giving you a Refreshing Splash of Lime with every sip! Check us out at http://www.HookaLime.com Enjoy your beer with HookaLime...You're FIXIN' to taste the difference. HookaLime clips are being manufactured now, so please ask you retailers for a HookaLime when you order your Corona, thanks. Would appreciate comments from Corona lovers. Share it with your friends if you like the idea. HookaLime.com If you are a business and woul... Read more

I tend to drink this in the Summer. It's a light beer but much better than Bud, Bush, Coors Light all the watery light American beers. I do tend to get a skunky bottle now and then because they use clear bottles.

Good with a lime! Something about this beer makes me want to be on a beach, could be the tasteful marketing right? This the Miller of Mexico.

It's not a bad beer, but there is nothing exceptional about it, unless you count the price they charge for it in bars, where it's primary purpose is as a light refreshing summer-time panty remover. Guys will pay anything for an effective panty remover.

I don't like beer, but I like Corona. I think Corona has a nice flavor that isn't at all like traditional beer- not hoppy. I also learned that mixing with grenadine is a great way to enjoy your Corona. You can usually get Corona at a good price, which should make everyone happy!

I really do not think Corona is worth drinking if it does not have a lime in it. I also think that Sol beer is a much better alternative for a Mexican beer. Anyhow, Corona has an extremely light taste, which some consider refreshing. I do not think it is really worth the hype.

Props to the marketing department. Everyone knows the name of Carona, in English, "crown", to be "the" Mexican beer. If you have never been to Mexico, just so you know, Corona is a low level beer. Real beer lovers of Mexico would never choose Carona as a great Mexican beer. On my last visit to Mexico, our tour guide saw me drinking a bottle of Victoria and was excited to see me drinking a "real" beer not the garbage that is imported to the USA (ie: Carona). He even suggested to me to try Nocha Buena if I wanted a really good, yet seasonal brew. I really like Barilito for a refreshing yet "meaty" brew with a real beer flavor with some life, and I believe Barilito is a product of the same company that brews and imports Carona. If nothing else is available and I want to re-live my latest trip to the Yucatan during the midst of winter in Iowa, I will accept a Carona as the last resort. Carona is an "ok" beer, but it has a flavor that no other beer has. To consider Carona a Mexi... Read more

Corona is a really good beer. It tastes pretty good, and it doesn't have much of an aftertaste. It is not that expensive, which adds to its appeal.

This beer is OK, well worth the 3 stars. I drink this when nothing else is available. The flavor is very different after the bottle has been open for 10-15 minutes, as it gets warm the taste loses good flavor and it starts tasting bad. I honestly do not know why this is the most popular Mexican beer in the world, it certainly isn't the best Mexican beer. If you want the best in Mexican beer try Victoria or my all time favorite beer in the world, PACIFICO. Honest unbiased opinion.

There is a reason why they call it a tourist beer. This beer is the most delicious beer out there when its ice cold, but once it starts to warm it loses flavor and a bad oder is released. So grab a bucket of ice and freeze those Coronas!

I don't like Corona, and really wouldn't like the idea of paying for it to begin with because it's a poor quality beer to me. Maybe I'll be like the Dos Equis guy. 'I don't always drink beer but when I do, I still won't drink Corona.'

This was in vogue during the days I hung out in bars with my then-girlfriend, and I ordered it a few times, intrigued by the slice of lemon you added to it. Once the novelty of said lemon slice wore off (real quick, actually), I returned to my more prosaic brews.

The beer isn't quite as bad as some popular brands, like Keystone, Natty, Bud, Coors, etc., but it comes pretty close.  Ever wonder why people always put a lime slice in the neck of the bottle?  It's to cover up the taste.  Really, if it were good beer, you wouldn't need the lime. Also, it is damn expensive.  There are much better beers (including Mexican ones) that can be had for less.  Why not get a pack of Modelo, or Dos Equis, or Tecate, and save a couple bucks?
