These pyramids were built by government contractors and peasant labor and have been standing for over 4000 years.  How long do you think that aluminum siding on your house is going to last?

I rather think that the Egyptians built them as a tourist attraction.

Before you read this, take in this note: everything i am saying in this i hav learned from a. a book or b. a tv. This means that im not som child making up som wild out of the world theory that they would like to believe, but dont actually. There are three main theories referring to who built the pyramids: the jews the egyptians aliens.lol first, the jews. I am not anti-semetic(actually i am a jew) and if this sounds anti-semetic, your reading it wrong. there is no evedence that supports the jews built the pyramids except the holy bible. Im not against the bible, but I believe we need further evidence then a book written by somone 2000 years ago that may hav alot of fiction mixed in it. WWith todays technology, we should be able to tell if there were jews building the pyramids, and we havnt, and weve been trying to for a long time. Also, there hav not been NEARLY enough jewish skeletons found to hav been needed to build the pyramids. The aliens. This will be short. there is no evi... Read more

There has been much research and debate over who built the pyramids and why?I for one have only one theory as to how these chiseled boulders were moved and slotted into place taking into consideration the technology that was in standing at the time.Using logic and common-sense one would hesitate to give such an unsummas answer...this is my dissertation,I conclude,it took three lashes on the workers back to move forward, one lash to move back,a punch in the stomach with a gesture of direction to move left or right, and a sea of karate kicks to help slot them(boulders)into place..I feel there is no mystery to it's construction only in it's supply of slaves where did they come from?honestly you would want the pyramid to resemble the blue-print before lunch, because after lunch the slave-master will be loaded with carbo-hydrates and a whip which means a very long day for you!point being why the scruples?searching for evidence that is not there or may not be there...aliens,I mean honestly I am... In me and my friend theory we believe that aliens helped built the pyramids. We say this because it is no way human possible that a mortal can pick up an 5,000 pound stone. True the egyptains were very good in math . We can't see how that is possible.

SUCH MAGNIFICENT ENGINEERING! YET THE ORIGINAL BUILDERS DID NOT HAVE KNOWLEGE OF THE WHEEL? THAT DOESNT MAKE SENSE. MUMMIES ARE FOUND IN THE VALLEY OF THE KINGS NOT PYRAMIDS. EGYPTIANS HAD WRITINGS ON EVERYTHING THEY BUILT. NOT THE PYRAMIDS? THE STEP PYRAMID WAS OBVIOUSLY THE LOCALS TRYING TO COPY THE GREAT PYRAMID. HAS THE STEP PYRAMID BEEN PROVEN AS OLDER? WHY IS THERE WRITINGS OF EVERYTHING THE EGYPTIANS DID. FARMING , BUILDING, EVERYDAY LIFE, BUT NO DRAWINGS OR WRITINGS OF WORKERS BUILDING A PYRAMID?I DONT THINK THE EGYTIANS COULD DO IT TODAY JUDGED BY WHAT I SEE AS THEIR WAY OF LIFE . COULD THE PYRAMIDS BE HOUSING A MARVELOUS SECRET?( THAT ONLY AN ADVANCED CIVILIZATION CREATED THE PYRAMIDS.) THE SECRET TO BE DISCOVERED ONLY WHEN OUR TECHNOLOGY IS ADVANCED ENOUGH AND WE ARE REALLY READY FOR THE TRUTH. AND NOT UNTIL THEN. THINK ABOUT THAT!WHEN WE TRULY BECOME OBJECTIVE WE WILL BE ABLE TO FIND THE TRUTH AND NOT UNTIL THEN.WE CAN NOT UNLOCK THE SECRET BECAUSE OF OUR THICK WALL OF PREJ... Read more

Someone once said that man fears time, but times fears the pyramids (or something to that effect). There certainly is some truth to this statement as not only is the Great Pyramid the oldest of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, it is also the only one still standing today. Originally built for the Egyptian Pharaoh Khufu (aka Cheops) of the Fourth Dynasty (Old Kingdom) in approximately 2500 B.C., the tomb was the tallest manmade structure until the 19th Century. Among the more intriguing and persistent mysteries of the Great Pyramid and the three great pyramids in general are the air shafts that seem to point towards specific stars and the arrangement and size of the three pyramids that suggest some connection with the constellation Orion. Nevertheless, who built the great pyramids is not really much of a mystery today as most scholars agree that construction was a make works project for Egyptian citizens and slaves during the off-season (ie no agriculture). In fact, archaeol... Read more

Egyptians. It was a public works project by early Socialist Pharoahs, keeping those shifty and troublesome peasants employed in the off-season (they couldn't plant crops when the Nile was flooding, which it did once a year).

Well, most of the pyramids were indeed built by slave labor at the direction of the current pharoah. But the oldest (and largest) pyramid was constructed by a race of extraterrestrial beings known as the Annunaki. They are responsible for creating humanity, originally as slaves to mine precious minerals from the earth's untouched depths, but later induced in us the ability to breed (we were mules prior to this). Anyway, they needed a place to land their spacecraft, and the easiest way was to calculate the landing spot by observing large landmarks on the planet below. In the north was Mt Ararat (where Noah's ark wound up), and in the east was Mt Sinai, but there was no mountain in the west, so they created an artificial one by erecting the Great Pyramid. Or so I read in a book somewhere.
