I had confirmed a double suite with a sofa bed to accomodate 6 adults. Upon arrival, they stated that my room was not ready (which was fine) when we did finally check it, the rep told me he "gave my room away". When we visited our room it was 2 double beds..no sofa (although my confirmation clearly states double and sofa)The staff treated me as though as I was wrong and said that although my confirmation stated sofa bed, it was put in as a request---- when IT CLEARLY said confirmed! They were very rude...from the bellman to the front desk, especially the night manager...Richard Ruiz is his name. They did nothing to accomodate their mistake and when I asked for blankets to make apallet on the floor...they gave me 1 sheet, 1 blanket? Is that enough to make a pallot for 2 grown adults? To top it off, we left because of our treatment, and they refuse to give our money back. We paid 250 plus for a room we didn't even use. Horrible, horrible place to stay!

In Short Warm chocolate chip cookies greet every guest at this Hilton-owned hotel, a friendly touch that fits in with the hotel's business-casual attitude. Another way Doubletree helps its guests relax is the Sweet Dreams bed, which features a pillow-top mattress, high thread-count linens, down comforters and lots of jumbo pillows. Amenities also include high-speed Internet access, in-room coffeemaker and complimentary newspaper; properties also typically feature a swimming pool, a fitness center and a range of meeting facilities.

This location is ok, but it wouldn't be my first recommendation. I have to stay here pretty often when I have meetings downtown and every time it is a hassle. My room is never ready at check in time. For some reason this seems to make the front desk people get an attitude with me as if I am the reason it isn't ready. The rooms themselves are ok, but not up to the quality I would expect for a hotel in this price range. They've recently been remodeling, but have so far failed to replace old linens and bedding. They did put in some hideous furniture that is worth seeing if you need a good laugh. Also, I've noticed the heat/air does not work well in the rooms. I've had to get maintenance to work on the units in my room more than once. Room service was ok. Nothing special, but it didn't take long to get. There seems to be a lot of "yes men" in management. Always willing to say they will get this or that for you, but they never come through with their promises. Guess they figure most people... Read more

I stayed at the Doubletree on 4th Street in Nahsville for two nights. I love Nashville and often go for pleasure. The rooms were nice, clean and comfortable. However, the staff didn't know where things were when i asked and the bellperson was rude. When there was no one to take our bags we carried our own to a cart and went to check in...then a bell person offered to take our bags when we had finished checkinging in, then he disappeared. When our room was ready we started to the elevator and was told that we could not take the cart upstairs by ourselves and they could bring our things up to us later. We needed to change quickly fto make our reservations so we carried our own bags. The lobby was uncomfortably crowded due to construction, there was no sign to the cafe. I liked that there was a Starbucks in the lobby. I'll not be staying at this particular Doubletree again.

This hotel don't have ?hot tub? and customer service & room service is below average. First we didn't get free Internet with ?Executive-level? and that is clearly stated on they web site. Also room service is so slow and rude that we had to call twice to get our order straight, and then we had to wait 40.min. When we asked for wine glasses we didn't get them on our first tray from ?front desk? then next night we went asked again but , front desk lacked to accommodate us on this request, finally third night we got them true they rude ?room service? All in all only thing that is worth in this hotel is warm swimming pool. Thank you so much , but no more double tree for us.

Went with a group of college girls and we all were very happy with our stay. The staff was very accomodating to our many needs. The beds were fabulous! I recommend getting one of the special suites that has a great corner view and lots of space. Valet parking was expensive but very nice. Location is in walking distance of neat downtown places.

This is a nice place to stay and the rates are reasonable. It's easy to access from the major highways and close to a lot of the attraction...

The front desk personnel were rude and arrogant. I'll never stay at the DoubleTree in downtown Nashville again unless it's free! The rooms were nice, the location was good.

The valet parked my car with my bags before i could complete check-in. The room was average at best. The indoor pool was not warm but cold. About the only thing this hotel has going for it is the location.

Stayed here overnight for a business conference. It's the only place I've ever been to where it cost less to valet park than self park. This was fine until everybody left at the same time and I had to wait 25 mintues for my car (just in time to catch rush hour traffic). Rooms are basic, but nice and clean. They don't give you a pair of gooey fresh baked cookies (I just got one, it was good, but not as good as I have had in the past at doubletree)

Rooms not as expected and staff not willing to accomodate/handle problems. Parking was awful. We were told that due to July 4th their garage was full and hotel cars were taken to another garage and call ahead to get the truck. We had to go down and wait, then they could not find our keys. They told my husband to get into another vehicle (one that had been left for valet) and they would drive him around to the other garages they used to look for our truck but could not find it. They agreed to let us into the booth to look for our keys. After about a 55 min. ordeal we finally had our vehicle and were on our way to dinner, only to realize that by that time the restaurant had closed. One guest said he checked into his room and found dirty bathwater in the bathtub.

The staff at the Double Tree were very nice and helpful. Room Service was prompt and food was good. A bit expensive, but good. The rooms were very clean, as were the bathrooms. Nice place.
