He's hardly an idiot.  He's actually quite intelligent, and, being diabolical, downright dangerous.  He not only masterminded the most disasterous terrorist attack ever on U.S. soil and has evaded capture for 7 years (of course, he's being protected by the Bush Administration, as the Bin Ladens and Bushes have been business partners for years in the super-secret Carlyle Group).  He's not such an idiot if he still inspires fear in the hearts of those noodlebrained, threatened rightwingers.

Uncharacteristically, I find myself in complete agreement with Drummond. Idiocy is not Bin Laden's failing. Stupid he ain't. I'd worry about him a lot less if he was.

The true measure of a small mind is hopeless inconsistency. I agree Osama is not an idiot though he foolishly miscalculated what Bush's response to the terror attacks of 9-11 would be (nope sorry there UBL he's not the pusillanimous Clinton). But here's the funny part: half-brained libs who simply hate America and what it stands for think Osama is smart for his ability to organize a couple misfit radicals, get them on some planes to hijack and smash them into buildings- that's what suffices for intellect. Yet a guy who in all his stupidity could trick Americans into voting for him twice- 60 million this last election- sheppard legislation that affects policy of millions, engage foreign leaders like Putin, Howard, and Blair- getting the latter two to follow him into his idiotic battles of course- Someone that could pull this charade off on a daily basis for over 4 years now and is still successful in doing so- hell he's not only knocked down a couple buildings but led the fall of two... I think the intent was to tell us to stay out of the worlds business. We won't accept that suggestion.

If only bin Laden were an idiot. In my view our policies towards the Muslim world cause us to fall right into this man's hands, thus breeding the terrorism that we want stopped. No, he's a very intelligent tactican. That along with his fanaticism and popular appeal is what makes him very dangerous.

The man is a genieus!!!! So was Hitler, but that still doesn't make them good people! You could say he is an idiot for using his intelligence in such a negitive way, but to call him an idiot makes you an idiot. He was able to do what very few have ever done. Attack mainland USA with success. but he needs to be caught.

If he's an idiot, then Dubya's a genius. Dubya can't even handle a pretzel.

I'm not against anybody, but if he's idiot, and if he could arrange something big terrible like 9/11, isn't the victim of an idiot is more idiot? so an idiot is such a big threat to U.S. ?

Nope, not an idiot. Wish he was though: it would be a whole lot easier to deal with him and the menace he represents.

This guy is so far from being an idiot, he's not even on the same planet as idiots. An idiot would not have enjoyed the success this man has achieved. While it is an equal mistake to attribute diabolically omnipotent powers to him, he's hardly stupid.
