Back in the '50s - when cars could be modified at home - this magazine was very helpful to the sport of hot rodding.

I drove a '34 Ford - with three carbs, a 3/4 race cam, dual exhausts and finned aluminum high-compression heads - to high school. Wish I still had it.

"I bought an advertisement and there was a magazine in with it!" I've enjoyed Hot Rod over the years, but like so many magazines, especially automotive related ones, it's tough to find the articles through ALL the ads!! Why should I spend $4-$5.00 on a magazine that 80% advertisements and 20% magazine? And, I think I'm being generous here! There are so many ads (w/o page numbers, of course) that it's difficult, if not impossible, to find the page your looking for. SEND IN THE FBI!!
