The show is not about building motorcycles, which is nothing more than a by-product of the production. The basis of the show is to show how the real life of a family owned business runs, behind the scenes. The hook for the show is the humor that most people will engender from watching the unknown. I have a personal friend of Paul Sr. and Jr. who told he that it is a fact that things are hammed up a bit for the show. The reason is simple; RATINGS. Apparently, it is working so quit complaining. The main problem for me and many others I guess is a lack of interest in motorcycles. For those really into I guess it might be more fun. The father and son clash so often I wonder if it just isn't done for show. The other brother was more interesting when he was trying to do his own bike with his older brothers help.
