Nothing would make me happier than to see this business go out of business. They have no customer service skills, overcharged for nothing. They did nothing to my microphones, but charged me 45 bucks. Sorry, but this needs a new element and we were unable to located a replacement. If these people were experts they would have been able with little or no effort to determine my mic needed a part they couldn't locate, and since they weren't able to do anything but open the mic up, look inside and determine they couldn't fix it. 45 bucks for what? These people will get what they deserve. Hopefully it will include a broken window or other vandalism. I hope so! Really hope so.....

I wanted to try a different tech since usual was slammed. I brought in two pieces of gear, a Peavey Combo 300 that wouldn't power on and a EQ pedal that just lost gain. After 2 months of not hearing a word from them about estimate or update, I emailed them to see what was going on. Then I hear back a few days later that they can't fix the pedal because of part not available, yet couldn't tell me what part but they still kept $45 deposit and my Peavey amp was fixed. They replaced 2 compentents, and added a new plug to the amp power cable(shorting the cord to almost unuseable length like 4 ft now). Charged me $178, which is about what a working amp would cost. I took the pedal to a usual shop near by and they fixed EQ pedal in 2 weeks and only charged me $26. Told me it was just a bad cap, so AME basically ripped me off. When I brought this up to All-Service, asking for the $45 refunded because I doubt think they even looked at the pedal. They ignored me and said it was ... Read more

I purchased and assembled a Fender Vibroverb clone kit. When it was all done it had a lot of background hum. I took the amp to two other repair shops in town. One of the shops I took it to were supposed to be hot shot tube amp gurus. The other one was according to them “the biggest and most experienced in town” Both shops kept the amp for about 3 weeks, charged me and said they fixed it, but it still had the problem when I got it home. I took it back twice to the other shops to let them try to make it right, but they could not figure it out, nor would either one of them refund any of my money! Finally on a friends recommendation I took the amp to Allservice, A week and a half later I got the amp back from them and the hum was gone!

Wow. All the reviews about this place were indicative of the experience I just had. I cant say for sure but I think they REALLY overcharged me for the repair. I recommend calling Leighton Audio. Jeff is honest and does great work on tube amps. This was a solid state amp that I had them repair because they showed up on the Mfg. Website as an authorized warranty repair shop. I should have read the reviews first and just taken my amp to Jeff Leighton. Avoid All Music.

Just got my beloved Fender twin back from these guys. It sounds better than ever. I must say when they quoted me a couple weeks to do the repair I was a little bummed, but I was presently surprised they called me four days after I dropped it off and let me know it was done. I will defiantly use these guys again.

There is a quite famous saying by Abraham Lincoln that says you can please some of the people all of the time, and all of the people some of the time, but you can't please all of the people all of the time. I am by no means trying to make light of peoples complaints, but simply trying to put things into perspective. We do roughly 1200 repairs per year. That means in the 27 years we have been in business we have done roughly 32,400 repairs. When you do the math that means we get it right 99.99% of the time. I would prefer that number to be 100%, but things happen some of them within our control, some not. It’s a funny thing, but unfortunately just human nature that you do not see the revues here from the people who got there repairs back sooner than they were promised. Or revues from the people who say “wow I thought it would be a lot more than that” when they get their bill. Nor do you see revues from the people who needed their repairs in a day’s time and we got them done for them i... Read more

In all the revues that I can actually identify a real customer of ours I have posted comments. Unfortunately the limitations of this site limits me to very short comments so I was unable to go into as much detail as I would have preferred. Regards, Randy Morgan All Service Musical

Just posting this story around to let people know what my experience was: Basically I took my turntable in for a "rush" repair. After they had it for a little over a week, the DAY before it was supposed to be done I get a call from Randy at All Service telling me that he couldn't get the part. The only solution he could give me was to install a temporary cable that he had, but I would have to pay full labor and parts costs for it, as well as the subsequent permanent install. Thanks for just about nothing. So the day before an event I'm out looking for another turntable. According to Randy, Technics "can't do overnight" and are incompetent. That may be the case but it's surprising to me that even though All Service is payed to handle the repair, it's somehow acceptable for them to pass on these problems to me (and they haven't dealt with Technics before?). As far as I'm concerned I expect my repair made by the date agreed on. On the phone Randy gives me a price quote for the final rep... Read more

To sum it up, this place is rude, does not do the work that was requested and over charges. It is a scam and I will never go there again.

I gave this shop a try to see if they were quicker and cheaper than other shops, bad mistake on my part. I was totally ripped off. Took way longer than I was told, and when I called to ask when my guitar would be finished I was treated extremely disrespectfully. I was charged even though absolutely no work was done, Randy the owner didn't even look at the guitar to give me an estimate, but I was still charged a $45.00 "deposit", unbelievable! I should have never given him my credit card number in the first place. Randy, the owner, completely flipped out on me for picking up my guitar before the work was even started (his ad says fast service, and it was taking way too long), and I felt threatened, so I signed the credit card slip just so I could get my guitar back. THE ABSOLUTE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE AND MUSIC SHOP EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE, NO JOKE. He will take too long, treat you with complete disrespect, and charge you for it! Do not bring anything to this guy. BTW, I am not a... Read more

Not only was the customer service terrible. Not only was the owner surly. Not only did the "repair" take several TIMES longer than they said it was going to. No, the worst part is that they charged me hundreds of dollars for parts and labor, and when I got the amp home, IT WAS NOT FIXED!!! I took an amplifier to All Service KMA for a repair. It was the worst experience I could imagine. The amp had an issue with the power supply. Instead of fixing the power supply, All Service replaced the reverb unit, which I had not asked them to replace; and they put all new tubes in, even though I explicitly told them when I dropped it off that I had just replaced all the tubes. Apparently they did not read the notes they took when I took it in. After my amp had already been in the shop weeks longer than they had told me it would take to fix it, they had the nerve to send me a mass e-mail, telling me what a fast turnaround they had at that present time! I replied to the message asking, i... Read more

have to say unfortunately i agree with some of the other reviewers in that communication with these folks is sketchy and borderline unprofessional. when my auto mechanic says i need work done in a ballpark range, he tells me his recommendations and how he got to them. don't expect to get answers from these folks, and i too experienced the attitude that i shouldn't've called for a status check after over a month of not hearing from them when i was told upon drop-off that it'd be one or two weeks. hugely unsatisfying all around.

overcharged and overfixed. took it upon themselves to buy and install an unnecessary part and wouldn't negotiate. look elsewhere for people who like their jobs and have an interest in making their customers happy.

Hi, I am the owner of All Service Musical. My name is Randy. I have just come to learn that at least one of these "reviews" were written by my competition in an effort to discredit me and bolster their business. I am taking steps to have this corrected, but it will take several months, In the interim I felt compelled to post this. Be assured that we are very responsive to our customers needs here. Should a problem ever arise we generally bend over backwards to see that out customer is properly taken care of. Thank you for taking the time to read this. Apparently you have to choose a rating to post this otherwise I would have left it blank. However as I did have to choose a rating there was only one logical choice.

My experience left me feeling completely taken advantage of. I have never even heard horror stories of a business being run in such a manner. They were incommunicative to the point of hostility and, yes, they ripped me off in a huge way. Explore every other option (there are a number in SE PDX)and if all else fails, find a DIY manual. I'm not kidding.

I don't often write things like this, but these guy's saved my bacon! I had my amp in and out of " the other shop" several times for the same problem and they could not get it figured out. I had an important gig coming up and I was getting real nervous. A friend of mine recommended Allservice so I took it in to them and they had it back to me in a week and it has been trouble free ever since. Thanks guys!

Horrible service they WILL rip you off. Since I had the misfortune of going there I've heard MANY similar stories of bad experiences. The owner was completely unreasonable on the phone and refused to accept responsibily for his mistakes. DON'T GO HERE.
