Yet another MTV personality I could care less about. We're up to 12 one star ratings for the MTV compatability test.

Smug self-satisfied little prick who went on a crash diet and now looks like and emaciated piece of logwood without half the personality.

Dullard. No personality. Not funny. Looks uncomfortable. Wonder how he ever got on TV.

He's got a pretty dull personality and he borrows skits and ideas from Conan O'Brien liberally. It looks like he is trying too hard to be funny...it's really painful to see him on TV. I like how he makes fun of TRL, but overall his talk show is awful.

Total flatliner. Flat personality, flat sexuality, flat delivery. Tries to be "hip"...what? I am trying to figure out why air time is being dedicated/wasted for his gig. Ideas anyone?

Has all the personality and passion of a plank of wood. The perfect host for the MTV generation...

Carson Daly is the most boring person ever on televison. His show is terrible---I only watched him once because Keith Olbermann was on---his monologue licks ass and he can't interview for crap. I've also heard several stories of him being a snobby jackass to his fans. From what I've seen the only people who like him are thirteen-year-old teenyboppers who think he's hot. Here's the latest 50 Cent video... OMG CARSON TAKE ME NOW!!1 Why the hell is he famous?

I did not know him from Mtv. I think he IS talented. He may not have been in 2002 or 2003 but from what I see in Last Call this year he appears to do much research on guests and the musicians brought on the show. He talks to the musicians. He may not know a band particularly, but when looking at some stuff online found he knows what sells, The band Mis-teek(misspell) had mentioned he helped them get known in the USA. He heard them when he was visiting outside the USA and I assume must thought they were worth letting the USA know. Well he was right in his taste for good music, as lots of people now like this band. Carson has an ear for what sells and don't sell. His interviews with the celebrity guests appears as though these people feel right at home with him. I think Carson Daly will be a great asset to NBC as time goes on as he seems a man who quickly improves on what he does.

Best move he made was scaling back his MTV work. Saw about 6 minutes of one episode of his late night show, and it's OK.

Okay, he doesnt really deserve 5 stars but Id be remiss to say that Carson does not have entertainment value, Carson is 30, still seems to know no more than a 16 year old and it totally adds to his appeal. That look on his face when he realizes that he has no clue what his 18-year-old guest is talking about because they werent speaking in hip-hop, and how he defends himself by taking a cheap shot at either the guest or some random audience member who never thinks to be offended. Gaining weight actually adds to his appeal, Mr. Non-Threatening Massive Tool has gotten soft around the middle. And its funny listening to him talk about people accusing him of being a Jesus Freak when he didnt stay in school long enough to get past Core Curriculum. let alone actually study Theology. I hope he doesnt party away his money because his marketability is fading and 456, his record label, shows no signs of making it to the big time.

I can't say I care for him too much. He is really boring, and he always tells people what they want to hear. I am pretty sure it was pure luck on his part when he got discovered. He doesn't have much talent.

Loser. He ingratiates himself to absolutely everyone he has to interview. We've all seen him talking to someone whose music he's only vaguely aware of, and pretend like he's been a fan of theirs since he was in diapers. I'd like to take a bat to his smarmy stupid grin.

Carson Daly is very attractive and his show is not too bad. Contrary to popular belief, he is not a "major tool" When he's on his NBC show, he seems relaxed, and real chill. On MTV he's the old guy there, and he acts like it.

I hate Carson Daly nearly as much as I hate MTV. I had the displeasure of catching his "Last Call" or whatever the hell that comedy of errors of his is called while on vacation last summer, on which episode David Bowie was the guest. Now David Bowie is a legend and Daly knows it, but what happened next nearly made me pitch the television out of the hotel room window. Our favorite little pop culture yes-man and MTV whore asked Bowie the following about American music, "I've seen you at, like, the MTV Video Music Awards, and I think last year I remember sitting there when like, you know, *NSYNC or Britney Spears was on, and I remember just looking over at you and just thinking, like, 'What does David Bowie think of this right now?'" And Bowie responded with, "It's too easy, isn't it? [ Laughter ] Let me go another way with that one. I think, you know, a major band in this country, for me anyway, during the '80s were the Pixies. I thought they were absolutely necessary. A very, very impor... Read more

two-faced little weasel. i've heard him bite the hand that feeds him (mtv) and think that's really chicken of him. he doesn't reveal any personal opinions- just idly agrees with what his interviewees are saying. i think last call sucks and i have no idea why chicks think he's hot, nor why he's so popular.
