Excellent place to live, affordable but without sacrificing lots and lots of really good amenities. Pool is awesome, staff is very friendly both the front desk folks and maintenance guy. Really nothing bad to say at all, so glad I bought here and paid about 50% of what I would've paid in midtown. Overall just really happy with it

I'm fairly new to the community - only been here a year - but it's fantastic. The new club room with free wifi is great, they even have free wifi at the pool, which is pretty outstanding. Your utility bills are all collected into one so you're only paying one bill per month, I really like that. Very very friendly staff - Bryan the maintenance guy is awesome, especially. And for the price I paid for this place I could not be happier. Plus, location-wise I'm anywhere in Inman, Highlands, Downtown, Little 5, etc. in under 10 minutes plus only 20 minutes to the airport (I travel a lot). Couldn't ask for more.

Fantastic place to live. Friendly neighbors, love the green space, pool, gym, concierge. If you're a dog person (like me!) it's perfect because the grounds are nearly an acre of fenced and lighted space and there are a ton of other friendly dog owners -- sometimes we even have evening "dog parties" where all the dogs meet up and play. And you get such great value for what you spend, which is possibly the most important part for me, especially in this economy. I paid half of what I would have for comparable units half a mile away in Midtown with less amenities. Best kept secret in Atlanta.

Not for serious adults. The noise transmissions between units is similar to that of a college dormitory; side to side, up and down, all terrible. Add to this the fact that the concrete slabs between floors is only 4" thick [newer construction has at least 8", most are 10"] and add to that the fact that most units Owners have installed hardwood floors without any thought to those around them and the noise can be a real nightmare. If you like feeling as if you're residing in a college dormitory, this place is for you. The smells of neighbor's foods and marijuana also permeate frequently to add to this element.
The staff here can be helpful if they feel it is in their best interest to do so. However they will gossip with others about your personal interests and activities. The property management serves only the Homeowner's Board and their own self-interests.
My own personal unit has flooded three times, this building is cursed with water issues, whether it be shoddy plumbing within the walls you know nothing about, or cheap hoses and appliances that were sold by the developer in 1999. Most units still have the original appliances and hoses and they're all susceptible to breaking- and when they do they do not always affect only one unit.
As with most community associations, you are not "entitled" to serenity, or comfort, unless the will of the majority happens to be with you. Here, though, if you are a serious adult who values your privacy, comfort, and quiet moments; the majority is not with you.
If you do crave this sort of atmosphere, the views [on two sides of the building] are definitely tremendous, some of the best, and the large parcel of land here is ideal for friendly city dogs. Just remember that they are priced the way they are for a reason; they're definitely not the steal they seem to be when you're "just looking" with your realtor.
If you're here and looking to buy don't miss the chance to ask the property manager about the problem with the concrete slab that the townhomes sit on! They told us it was about to cave in and collected thousands of dollars in a special assessment from each of us- only to then turn around and decide it wasn't such a problem and proceeded to spend all that money on other things!

Great place to live in a secured entry property, best view of the city, covered secured parking, great amount of greenspace, pet-friendly, great pool area, convienent to shopping, hospitals, restaurants, nightlife, museums and a wide range of entertainment. The airport is a short drive and access to public transportation is right outside the front door. Friendly and accomodating staff in addition to all these amenities makes City Heights Condominiums a wonderful place to live! Oh, did I forget to mention the Community Room available for special events and the fitness center with all the equipment you will need to stay in shape when you you are not out and about exploring all that Atlanta has to offer!

Great community!! I love it here! Incredible views that would cost you 100k more anywhere else. I do a lot of entertaining and my friends love it for the ample street parking that you don't get in other parts of the City. And you can't beat 24-hour concierge staff. I feel safe when I'm leaving early in the morning or coming home late after work.

Fantastic community - very diverse and friendly. Great amenities, great location, many great views. Perhaps my favorite part is the gated walking trail - it's lit 24 hours a day and it's like a full acre so it's perfect for walking the dog. City Heights is one of the city's best kept secrets!
