Much of thier uniform style is a rip off of the Packer uniform. They have been wearing the current jersey style since 68 or 69 taking the design from Green Bay's. Would not change the helmet the single logo on the helmet is all Steeler.

The numbers are terrible. They should go back to the numbers from the 70s. I think the away jerseys are the ugliest in the NFL

Somewhat over-rated. Mainly due to players like QB- Rothlesburger (who can carry a team) and how hard the teams plays they will win 10 games!!!

Would be really cool if they had the logo on BOTH sides of the helmet! They make tons of money, put the logo on both sides!

I'm a fan of the other Pennsylvania franchise, but I stand in awe of this team. Long-standing franchise wedded to a city, the Steelers understand how to do business. They've won in different decades with different kinds of players. And all players know they have to produce or get lost- it's about the uniform, not the name on the back. And yes, I like Steeler fan. . .he/she usually knows the game well enough for a solid conversation. Good fans, great stadium, and proven results. What's not to like? (Okay, Ben's choice of women. . .)

Whats with the logo on one side? The logo on the front of the jerseys? The numbers style suck too!

Growing well as the Steelers transition from older players to new, with the advantage of a great body of fans around the world. After 2008-9, we're as great as ever. Go Steelers!

Black & Yellow have such great potential. These are very ordinary & the helmets just plain suck!

These uniforms are so unbalanced it isn't funny. One don't even get me going on the logo only being on one side of the helmet.UGHH!Another thing that drives me crazy are those huge numbers on the front and back of the jersey, and they are in white.WHITE?The numbers and the names should be in yellow,or gold, whatever they call it,and a white outline.Another thing that needs to be fixed are the away jerseys.I mean they should just be in black with a yellow outline. And if they wanted, they could get black pantsfor the road with yellow stripes on them. These uniforms have potential, and it is a shame, because they could look really sharp.I would even like to see a yellow face mask on the helmet just to break it up a little bit. Also take that stupid logo off of the front left chest and put it on both of the shoulders instead.

Good organization, but the foundation from this team's 2005 Super Bowl run has been eroded. They still have quality personnel, but not championship caliber. They have good skill players on offense and their defensive starters are still tough to beat. However depth and age are a problem the Steelers are going to have to address. The 2nd stringers are no where near as talented as the starters, so they better hope injuries don't strike. Additionally, their offensive line, which was truly at the heart of their championship runs, is now below average with the departure of key contributors like Alan Faneca. The AFC North is full of heavyweight pass rushers, so a quality o-line is a must. On paper this team looks good, but there are some problems here. I suspect they'll disappoint in 2008.

Good Uni's, but not even close to being the best in the NFL. I believe they need to switch it up with the pants and go with all black with the yellow stripe running down the side. Just from time to time for an "alternate" look.

**5 TIME SUPER BOWL CHAMPIONS!!** The logo on just the right side of the helmet is unique and distinct. The fact that the logo is a customized design of the US Steel logo makes it even more classic. Black and Gold is bold and menacing to the opposition. What else you gonna name a team in the Steel City? Pittsburgh Steelers, one of the original teams, and the original NFL Dynasty! BuFu

The Steelers are proof that a good offensive line and good defense will carry you far. Put Willie Parker and Last Year's Jerome Bettis on the Texans and they look average. Put them behind the Steelers line and they look great. I don't think anyone will be able to take over the Bettis, power back, role this season. Parker will blossom this season and rush for over 1,000. Losing Randle-El will hurt at first, but somebody in the WR Corp will step up. Also TE Heath Miller is entering his 2nd year and provides a good target for Big Ben. There will be a big target and Pittsburgh, and their division will be harder this year. That being said I think that, barring major injuries, they win the division. They will have to play the wild card round, and I say that they make it to the AFC Championship game only to be beat by (gag me) the Colts.

Amazingly simple, but so rugged and they just scream out "FOOTBALL." Enough with the purple Ravens, teal Jaguars, and the arean football Bengals - As a avid Bills fan, I have to admit... the Steelers jerseys are perfect.

I agree that the block numbers were better, but the change could have been much worse. Look at the Broncos and Patriots in 10 years. It will be like how we view the rainbow Astros unis of the 70's now. How could you not like the logo on one side. It is the most original idea in all of sports. No other NFL or college team has it.

If they had won the Superbowl without all those horrible calls I would rate them Higher Not to mention the superbowl againest dallas when Neil Odonnel threw 2 picks to larry brown to make sure the cowboys won, rigged nfl i would have to say so after the steelers were involved with both.

Yeah, the uniforms are cool enuff lookin' with the classic black & gold scheme, but the logo on only one side of the helmet is weak. the side without it simply looks to boring, like a high school team on a low budget.

what can i say Super Bowl 40 was amazing, the reverse, the TD run the whole damn 2nd half just awesome, one of the best halves of NFL football I've ever seen, admitatly the 1st half sucked hard.

Momentum, everyone knows that the mental aspect is just as important, or more important than the physical abilities. This team (right now) is very confident and play as a team. Big Ben has handled the pressure better than I ever imagined. They look to be destined to win it this year. Any given Sunday.
