They used to look good in the 80,s. The jerseys now are nothing but an eye sore.

The only thing these uniforms need is,is to get rid of the stupid white part that goes up the side of the black and orange jerseys.

I hated them until a crazy fan showed up to a game in stormtrooper armor in bengals colors one time.

Oh boy. They look like moving Jackson Pollack paintings. They need to tone it down a bit. These uniforms make the players look like they should be walking in a parade!

Always thought the Bengals had handsome unique uniforms, especially the helmet. the new versions are weird with too much of that tiger stripe pattern everywhere, just keep it simple, the helmet is unique enough.

Yet another team that made a needless change. Previous uniforms were excellent, with traditional numerals and nicely-applied tiger striping over the shoulders and on the pants, though I have always had mixed feelings about the tiger-striped helmets. The new uniform is an abomination that emphasizes how silly the helmet can look.

The helmet is excellent, but they messed up the jerseys.

Good idea to update the look, but they went to far! Tone it down! The secondary B logo is very cool... maybe the should put that on the helmet and go back to a more traditional looking uniform.

always loved the helmet. thats not the problem. the bengals pulled a falcon/ram/seahawk by overhauling a good thing after a moderate success. stick with the look that took them to two super bowls.

These new uniforms are COOL! They're best for kids, and if you see a kid wearing one, up close, it's a cool uniform. The helmets are the coolest in the NFL as well. Princeton should steal this look.

Their new unis are just terrible. I can't believe they have actually done what they have, especially their hideous orange jerseys. They are almost as ugly as the Bills unis and just as bad as the Seahawks.

Who designed these pro-wrestling leotards, Vince McMahon?!! And just when the Bungles were about to be good again, they screw up in the morale-anchoring uniform department. How can anyone be expected to win in these DUDS?! I've seen Arena league and NFL Europe teams with better uniforms!

Innovative (back in 1982), but still unique. Like sleeve patch, but need to ditch black pants. Sew-on stripes instead of screen print on sleeves and pants.

For as long as I've been a fan of football, I've never seen a greater uniform change than what the Cincinnati Bengals did (going from the boring orange helmet with Bengals written across it, to the bold orange with tiger stripes). I don't think there is a better helmet out there that captures what the teams name is all about. I am not a fan of the Bengals, but I found myself buying their mini helmet just because its a great look.

It is a divisive uniform, moreso than just about any other team, primarily because of the helmets. You either love the stripes, or you hate them. I think that they are really swell.

The NFL should have more uniforms like these. any new expansion team should take a cue from, these guys.

Pro football is a flashy game which means I generally prefer the flashier uniforms. As a result the uniforms worn by the Cincinnati Bengals rise towards the top of my preference list. The bold orange and the Bengal Tiger stripes on the helmets set these uniforms above most of the competition.

My only complaint - the leaping tiger on the sleeve is not really thier logo - the tiger head is the real logo (ie - this logo is used on the tv networks) and should be on the sleeve instead of the leaping tiger.
