We tried Mama Mia's for the first time just a few months ago, when we heard from someone that it was great. Now we regret that it took so long for us to try it! If you miss the great pizza of the North End or New York, you will be delighted to find this place. Thin--but not too thin--crusts, not too much sauce. Good quality ingredients. One other thing to love: The atmosphere of the shop is terrible. It's hot, greasy smelling and there's a lot of yelling behind the counter. We love it!

I was driving tuesday night after a long day at work, on indian school road by 7th street to check this place out that people talk about, saying that the food was great. And that was true the pizza was just like back home, and the staff was so friendly they make me feel like family, specially the youg man with a ponytail. I wish if all those fast food places learn from mamamia how to take care of their customers the rigth way Thank you mamamia, we need more place like you guys in a valley. Denise..

Well, I been working for years at the VA hospital and seriously i started getting tired of our menu at the cafeteria, so i decided to try this little pizzeria down the street that everybody is talking about. Sure enough that experience was great and im glad i found it. The food is amazing and the service is even better. I was happy to see that some people take a proud of what they do. The customer service was outstanding. Thanks Mamamias and keep it up. Paul.

I wish I had read the other reviews. I ordered a pizza for delivery today. It arrived late and cold. When I called the manager to complain, I was told I lived too far away. Funny, I didn't live to far away for them to take my order and my money! There are better pizzas in the city and much much better delivery services. If you choose to ignore these reviews, you do it at your own peril.

Mama Mia's has really good food. We were really impressed when we ordered food to go for a girl's night out party. So we ordered again. The order was wrong. There was no "chicken" in the Penne Vodka with grilled chicken. We forgave. For the next outing, we ordered the same, plus their "pinwheels" with brocolli and chicken. No chicken in the pinwheels. On the NEXT order to go, we ordered the Penne Vodka with chicken again. This time we called the owner and alerted him that our "to go" orders had been wrong; could he please double-check before we picked up. He (Frankie) assured us that everything would be correct. No chicken in the Penne Vodka. We're done.

My parents ordered a pizza from here on 9-22-07 and had it delivered to a hotel near the airport. Long story short, the driver was cursing at both my parent, shoved my father (which resulted in a serverly broken wrist because his hand was in his pocket, which is going to require two surgerys) and punched my mother in the head when she ran to the door to find out what was going on. PLEASE DO NOT eat here! If this driver assulted not only my father, but my mother he could very well do it again.

Hands down the best pizza in the Arcadia/Biltmore area (and much further). No conveyor belt pizzas here. Only fresh stuff made daily and cooked to order in a brick oven. Sandwiches and pastas are outstanding too. All boars head meats on the subs. I eat here practically everyday for lunch on my route. If you are from the east coast and want a taste of home, this is the place to be. The owner Frank is from Jersey and you couldn't meet a nicer guy. It gets pretty busy for lunch and dinner almost every day but the staff is fast and friendly. Two huge slices and a bottomless soda for only $3.50! What a deal!

I walked upon this place by mistake after working out at Bally's(next door). Without finding out who the owner was, I ordered a slice and was stricken that this was a taste from home(New Jersey). I then talked with the owner(Frankie) and found out he was from my hometown. I have been a customer since. The sandwiches are a taste from home, and the pizza? The same. The value?? Try buying a two slices and a drink from any place else and see what it would cost. This daily special is $3.50 O-N-L-Y!!!!! I would recommend to many who are from the east coast, that if they have been disappointed in the past about their pizza, please go to Moma Mia. It is a slice pizza from home......... What I do not like??? I wish they would expand to the far east valley! Traveling 45 minutes to satisfy my pizza craving is a long commute... Ralph McNeal, Newark, NJ (Now living in Queen Creek)

...well, Jersey actually. If you know what a Taylor Ham is, this is your place. Everything that I've had from Mama Mia is outstanding. Not to overshadow the pizza (definite top 5 in the valley) but the wraps at this place are on the money. Try any one with chicked (#8 is my favorite) and you'll agree, it's the best value in town. Nice work Frankie!
