I ordered a gate and electronics in October 2009, as of February 2010 there is still no gate, no communication and no follow up on this company; I call them every week and they suck in commication, they have not returned ONE phone call. Delays Delays Delays. Excuse Excuse Excuse...these guys should not even be in businss....RUN RUN from this company....they do NOT even deserve a star

We purchased a gate and gate operator from Custom Gate Systems in July. The gate was custom made to our design and was absolutely beautiful. We had it done in aluminum. The powder coat was especially nice. I installed the gate myself. The owner came out on his own time and helped me through the difficult part of the installation and did not charge anything extra. The gate did take a couple weeks longer than we thought but the wait was well worth it. I would highly recommend this company. We are going to be using them again for a gate on our property at Lake Havasu. Thank you Tim F.

The owner, Howard Allen & employees don't know how to stay in contact with clients, make appointments, install systems. We had a minimum of 16 excuses as to why they didn't honor the terms of the contract which the owner set. He wanted to be paid up front in order to complete the job in 2 to 3 weeks, but 3.5 months later the job is not complete to date. Employees are not paid on time, equipment broken, we had to tell the installer how to do the job, installer tried to bury spliced wired wrapped in electrical tape. We were told they couldn't contact us or finish the job because: they were: backlogged, out of state working, had to get rid of an employee, had a broken trailer, broken welder, their electric vendor had to backorder supplies, the powder coater was backlogged, had other complaints by customers, had to redo the fence (wrong size), didn't have proper bolts, drill, drill bits; they broke a plumbing line which they didn't repair, didn't have the fire department lock, had to come back (so far 8 times). They don't pay their employees on time and all the excuses show they are mismanaging their funds. We just wanted them to do the job and get out of our hair! BUYERS BEWARE!
