Woody makes the show fun to watch, and I look forward to his insightful-masked-as-quirky comments. He's the best personality on the show.

Around the horn is great. It's been my favorite show for years. Jay Marriotti is my second favorite and woody is my first because i think they are the only guys who know what the heck they are talking about. And i love the chalkboard woody has. Some of the stuff on it is hilarious

I love woody paige! he's the sole reason I watch this show. who cares if sometimes he sounds inarticulate and incoherent. He speaks like a true fan does and he doesn't take himself too seriously. In fact, thats what I love most about woody, his willingness to laugh at himself (unlike that jerk Mariotti). My favorite ATH moment of all time is when both he and mariotti were in a showdown and the winner would be the first to 200 wins. Mariotti was already celebrating when Reali gifted woody the win at jays surprise. absolute classic.

Forget all of the haters. Woody is an unbelievable talent. Seems like a great guy, and I bet he never has problems getting any interviews from athletes. Keep it up Woody. Good health to you and don't retire anytime soon.

woody p is a stone cold trip. ya gotta love him. he will say whatever he has to in order to get you to buy in to what he is trying to sell you. i am a big fan but now i know not to bet on his picks because sometimes he does get carried away. i would say 9 times out of 10 he is dead on!

He is very funny and entertaining and it seems like you want him to be sucessful because he just seems like a nice person who gets picked on all the time. He is very smart and most of the time, he knows what he is talking about. He is the main reason I watch Cold Pizza or Around the Horn. Noone else, including that lame host, has no personality on Around the Horn except Woody. He is great and a huge asset to ESPN.

Woody Paige is God! He's the funniest person on Around the Horn. I love his feud with Jay Mariotti. Around the Horn wouldn't be on the map without Woody Paige.

Regardless of what people think about Woody Paige, love him or hate him. He brings the entertainment to Around the Horn. He was my favorite columnist at the beginning and will remain so until the end.

It's part of Woody's charm that he makes complete off-the-wall comments. But he does make good points sportswises, and he's entertaining. He is the real reason why people watch Around The Horn, and as you can read in some of the other reviews, most turn ATH off whenever Woody is kicked off the show

His arguments are not very good and without merit. Why people rate him high is beyond me. Maybe he has a lot of friends who are rating him.

Woody Paige is awesome, the only reason I watch Around the Horn, although he does make some moronic statements that always make him loose. Once he gets cut I stop watching usually.

After having lived 8 years in the Boston area and being spoiled by the Boston Globe sports section, after moving to Colorado almost 2 years ago, I *still* read the Globe online before reading Woody Paige. Paige lost this reader on the evening the Denver Broncos hosted the New England Patriots on Monday Night Football last year. In the Denver Post the day of the game, Woody's column read: It's A Lock: Pats Have No Chance! The column was sheer hyperbole, and Woody did not break down the matchups of the game itself. Take a look at the columns constantly written by Dan Shaughnessy, Bob Ryan, Ron Borges and Peter Gammons (not to mention the late Will McDonough), and you will see the thoughtful, detailed sportswriting. You may not agree with a given opinion, but you can *respect* the point of view because of how well-written and presented that given column is. Woody...ANY NFL fan with a clue KNOWS the phrase On Any Given Sunday. That also applies to Monday nights too! And to even ... Read more

He and Max were the reasons I watched the show (and the disembodiead voice). I hate Bob Ryan and that idiot from Chicago, but I love Woody Paige. He was the show's star.

Just seems like a fun/nice guy. Even when he says something stupid or gets tongue tied it doesn't bother me much 'cause he doesn't seem extremely arrogant like most tv talking heads.

Woody just goes against everybody for the sake of argument. He is clever and brilliant, and his arguments make sense most of the time. Without Woody and Statboy, Around the Horn wouldnt work.
