Avoid ANY moving company run by either Steven or Stanton Judd. S Judd's M&S/Judd's T&S/SK Judd's Moving & Storage has had 3 different addresses in the last 3 years. I was a victim of a "bait and switch" orchestrated by Steven Judd. Check the Better bizness Bureau website on these guys...F! PUCO is investigating them and their license expired over a year ago. My advice?--check out the Ohio Association of Movers first.

Well with this company I can honestly say that moving was actually an enjoyable, no stress, time. I shouldn't say no stress after reading one of these citysearch reviews I did have some reservations, but I could not resist the low hourly price that came with a not to exceed price. T On moving day I was delighted to see the movers arrive promptly on time. After a quick introduction Brent and Dennis, the movers, proceeded to cover my entire house(woodwork, doorjambs, floors) in protective pads which showed me these guys actually cared about preventing any damage. After seeing what all went these two men loaded my entire 3 bedroom house before I could finish some small miscilleaneous packing of some things I wanted to take myself. I was in total disbelief of how fast these guys were, that's including a short break they took when half the truck was loaded. They stopped for lunch on the way to the new place which took them about an hour(which I wasn't charged). They started moving stuff in f... Read more

Having read the highly favorable review, I opted for S Judd's although I received a slightly less expensive estimate elsewhere. Prior to contracting with S Judd, Mr. Judd responded promptly to my calls, came to my house and guaranteed a "not to exceed" estimate. But that's where the good service ended. On moving day, the movers arrived several hours behind schedule, without clothing racks and, most importantly, without notice that they were to do the move within the estimated time. Outwardly angry about the "not to exceed" guarantee, the two movers rushed the job, broke a large piece of glass that topped our antique wooden dresser, left all our boxes in the living room (so as not to go over time), and repeatedly solicited a tip throughout their disgruntled move (which, of course, we gave them). My frustration, however, stems most from the company's response to our far-from-seamless moving day. Mr. Judd, who was largely unapologetic, preferred to replace the glass himself rath... Read more

My husband and I recently used this company for our move and cannot say enough about them. They arrived on time and worked very hard throughout the entire move. They took only a few very small breaks and we provided lunch between loading and unloading. They estimated it would take 6 and 1/4 hours for the move and we had them guarantee the estimate not to exceed the estimate that they initially provided. They charged us for exactly 6 and 1/4 hours even though it took closer to 7 and 1/2 to 8 hours however they handled everything as though it was their own and we had no issues at all. I would highly reccommend this company.
