Some of the worlds finest beaches with golden sand, salty air, scenic harbors, quaint New England villages, great seafood, and lighthouses. The outer Cape is the best especially around the Cape Cod National Seashore as much of it is protected and unspoiled. You can breathe in the aromatic salty air out there like no other place as it really feels out to sea. Unfortunately much of Cape Cod is becoming "paradise lost" with crowds, summer traffic, and overdevelopment. Still they come back year after year because of those fantastic beaches.

I went to Cape Cod in summer 1999 and thought the beach was gorgeous. The water was hardly ever rough when I was there. Sand wasn't too rocky, either.

Not just on the Cape, but all beaches in MA and southern NH. The sand is soft and gold colored. No fish swimming around you. The water actually cools you off.

The beach itself is gorgeous, as is the landscape of the Cape. But the water's coooooold...
